After less than the 2 initial weeks of owning a car bought from ASM Performance, I found the following. Front pads and discs well below minimum requirement - MOT failure Rear pads and discs below minimum requirement - MOT failure Both Rear Drop Links rubbers split- MOT failure Exhaust Gasket by DPF leaking - MOT failure 3 buckled wheels or which 1 should have been an MOT failure 2 Tyre's below legal spec - MOT failure 1 Tyre - Not advised upon in the MOT but should have been as was on the limits of being a failure also. After attempts to have the issues rectified on a car that shouldn't have passed an MOT, I was told to speak with the MOT place that they use to have the issues rectified, as it was the MOT stations fault that they had made ASM sell me a car which shouldn't have passed an MOT... go figure!! Have provided them with quotes to have the car repaired and made roadworthy, but to no avail, even felt that is was reasonable not to demand that it is done via the cars main dealership brand garage and provided them with the cheaper quotes, but with the inspection report from the cars brand main dealer to support the findings. I live over 100 miles away and they expected me to drive a car which legally shouldn't be on the road up to them for them to review and consider repairing the car via one of their partner garages (don't think so after seeing that you accept shoddy MOT's) I instead offered them the quotes and offered for them to come down to take the car to a local garage to gain a 4th opinion on what needs doing, and all I have gotten in return is..... Radio silence. I have also managed to speak with another person who has had similar issues with ASM within the last few months and boy is this going to be a stroll in court. All I want is what is correct to make the vehicle roadworthy and then be on my way. Wear and tear policy is one thing and I accept that after months of usage I may need to replace bits, but to sell me a car which was not roadworthy from the word go, knowing that I was driving back over 100 miles with my youngest child in the car with me is plain despicable. Again, being the reasonable person that I am, after having provided ample opportunity to put right, I have lost all confidence in ASM to correct this criminal act and would recommend all to STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. All is good in the run up to signing on the dotted line, but afterwards... you are left high and dry. I would like to detail more but have already given this issue too much of my time.

Worst purchase of my life - an Audi TTS from these people. I’ve had nothing but problems with it. When I took it back they said the smell of petrol was normal for such a car. Based on my experience please think twice before buying from these people - buy used approved from the relevant brand instead

Brought the car from ASM Performance. Within 6 months needed over £2000 of repairs! It had a bumper respiratory which wasn’t discussed and all the paint and laquer started coming off! V5C wasn’t ever sent off so it wasn’t registered to me! Soon as the sale was done they basically didn’t want to know about any problems! Awful awful place!

I bought a car from ASM Performance last year and I was promised a log book and a boot light repair and they never did it.

Absolutely shocking how they acted, just a week ago, purchased a car albeit (luckily!!) not a lot of money but charges were added on for basically not a lot of work, for admin, then a credit card charge. When we got the car checked over pretty much everything is wrong with it! Just so glad we were not buying a car say over £10k, as I feel the same thing would of happened. We were given one invoice with certain wording on for the deposit, but, very underhand they have changed the wording on the final invoice without pointing this out to us. They worked as a team and distracted us getting us to sign the paperwork quickly. Only put 1 star as it wouldn't let me put 0. Avoid them 100%

Recently purchased a mk6 golf r, the whole process was a joy. within the first month my radiator had chaifed and started to leak, through no fault of anyone. without any issues or delay they had resolved the issue and within 3 days my leak had started and the car was fixed and back on the road. Would highly recommend to anyone Just on my personal experience with them and if I want a new car and they have what I want I would definitely use them again

Recently bought an Audi S5. They offered me a fair price on my Px and also offered me a reasonable discount on my purchase due to a few minor bodywork issues. Friendly staff and an easy stress free purchase with no hard or pushy selling involved. Love my new car. Thanks guys. See you in the future when I want to swap again.
