AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! These cowboys sold me a Kia Sportage. When I went to collect it there was mould to the carpets and seat belts, the wipers were faulty and there was about 50p worth of petrol in the tank. I should have got my money back and walked away at that point but had just moved back to the country and needed a vehicle asap. Within a few months I had spent over £1,000 on repairs, including a new clutch. Worst of all was the wheels were misaligned when I bought it so the tyres wore down unevenly to dangerous levels. It was lucky that this was spotted during the repairs as the mechanic said I was close to a 'blow out'. I contacted Ian who is easily the worst human I have ever dealt with. He was completely dismissive and unhelpful. The sooner these con artists go out of business the better.

A few years back I bought a Mercedes CL 180 2011 plate. I had paid the extra for extended warranty, about 2 weeks before the warranty ran out, I was travelling on the A419 and suddenly the revs shot up, it felt like the car had kicked down, went totally sluggish and then there was the sound of metal on metal. I stopped and found that the oil had just poured from the car, almost instantly, I arranged for the car to be taken home as I was a member of the AA. The next day I called Assured Cars when they were open on the Monday, I told them what had happened, and that is when they informed me I did not have an extended warranty, I assured them that I had purchased it, as it was on the receipt They told me there was nothing they could do, after some arguing, the dealer suggested that he put it back on warranty, as it stood he couldn't because it had run out of its MOT when he came up with the idea to commit warranty fraud. In the end they became really nasty, and left me with a car I had paid £5000 for and got just under a years use from. Charleton's, dodgy dealers, call em what ya like, but they certainly aint legit....

Mark Campbell in response to Extended warranty - Yeah right!
Oh and I forgot to mention, because they would do nothing to help, I had to eventually sell the car as scrap, On a £5000 car less than a year old, I managed to salvage £400, as the engine was gone.
On the 15/12/2021 my wife suffered a catastrophic brake failure on the car we bought via #CarFinance247 from #AssuredCarSales who proclaimed to be AA #1breakdownprovider approved car dealership. According to AA website all vehicles should be inspected by them prior to being listed for sale. On reporting this matter to #AssuredCarSales they denied all responsibility and said we were suffering from "buyer's remorse". #CarFinance247 took no responsibility saying they were just the broker and to contact #MoneybarnUK. I logged a complaint with Moneybarn #MoneybarnUK took 2 months to respond and when they did finally respond they said that as it was over the 56 days to report the matter to the #financialombudsman both recommended I get an independent engineers report from ACE. #CarFinance247 accepted some responsibility from the #IndepdentEngineersReport and the matter would finally be looked into. The deadline given was the 28thMarch 2022. #AssuredCarSales have not been in contact, but have suggested the report from #ACE was contradictory. 4 months later, we are still without a car living in a rural location, having pressure from work in regard to this, plus problems with day-to-day family life. All we want are answers, responsibility & compensation for this trauma #AssuredCarSales #AA #CarFinance247 #MoneybarnUK

Bought a Renault Scenic from them in Oct 21, ok experience purchasing and a reasonable price. Seemed friendly and was told if anything wrong with the car just get back in touch. Since then numerous faults with the car, some I resolved myself via warranty and independent garage (door latch problem, start stop issue). However after the latest of these faults arose (“brake system fault”) I decided to take manager up on his offer and ring them direct. Completely different attitude, fobbed off, obviously couldn’t care less and got quite rude when I reminded them they offered me to ring them. I don’t trust them and would not buy from them again.

Great service, very helpful and friendly. Would recommend to anyone, first class service and great guys to deal with.
AVOID AVOID AVOID! Disgusting Ian the manager, the owner of the business is the same, bolgár a car from them and after 2 weeks I had a scrap engine as the crankshaft thrust washers fallen out causing the bearing failed. No reply for email, over phone answer was to do whatever you want...I will do everything to sue the company Ian!

Amazing! I brought my car from here two weeks ago and the service I received was incredible! Two lovely blokes who catered for my every need! Car in perfect condition, came with a brand new MOT and SERVICE with all advisory’s carried out. I even had half a tank of fuel with my car. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a car again! I travelled a good hour to reach them and worth the travel! Thank you so much!
I had been recommended to use Assured Car Sales by a friend. (I wish I had checked all the reviews). I paid a deposit on 21st Dec 2020, for a car I was really interested in, and the remaining balance was paid on 24th Dec 2020. I was given a 3 month warranty and a year free AA cover. I began to have problems with the car a few weeks later, the engine management light was coming on and the car was going into limp mode, so I got in contact with the preferred garage used by Assured Car Sales, who are Autoworks in Witchelstow, Swindon. They confirmed that there was an issue with the cambelt sensor, however, I was told that this was not covered by the warranty and Ian at Assured had paid for this repair, I don't know how much the bill was. I was told that the EML staying on after turning the ignition on wasn't a problem although it might take a couple of attempts to start the car. I persevered with this, but I started to have further problems and called the AA, who advised that it would be beneficial to replace the battery, so I replaced the battery at a cost of £130.00 The car continued to have problems starting, so much so, that I have to keep a battery pack in the car, to use when it won't start, extremely embarrassing and possibly a little bit dangerous in Tesco Petrol Station. I had enough last week and I booked the car back into Autoworks on Wednesday 17th March for investigation, no contact until I called them on Friday afternoon when they told me that the car needs a new Fuel Pump, and they were going to get in touch with the warranty company. I had a call back this morning 22nd March, and Autoworks said that it wasn't covered under the warranty, so he would call Assured Car Sales to ask if they would cover the cost of £546.76, for the repair, I had another call from the garage who told me that Assured Car Sales will not cover this cost, and I would need to pay for the repairs if I wanted the car to run properly. I called Ian at Assured Car Sales, who told me that the warranty expired on 21st March, when it actually expires on 24th March, why would the warranty need to start before I had paid for the car in full, he said that if the warranty company won't cover this part as it is a hidden part of the engine, then the owner of the Assured Car Sales business will not be willing to pay for the repairs. I have had to source the money to get the car fixed, as I have a disabled daughter who thankfully has not had any appointments over the last 6 days, which is how long the car has been in the garage. I have to take my daughter for her COVID-19 injection on Thursday this week. I haven't even had the car for 3 months yet. I am so upset!!!! I don't want to give this company any praise or good reviews
Drove up from Cornwall, to view a Citroen C4 and was asked for my licence to enable me to take it for a trest Drive, The car was a load of pants, and I forgot to retrieve my Drivers Licence from the office, phoned them up a couple of days later, and asked if I had left it behind, they read out about Half a dozen before they got to mine and assured me they would post it to me ....... Never seen my licence since, when I phoned again to ask if it had been sent they denied any knowledge, Please Beware of this Garage ,I am now in the process of speaking to the Police and DVLA ......
First of all I got a car that was smoking like hell, DPF light coming on and off, smoking. Managed to swap the car for another.. and thought perfect the car had no issues... I’ve had the car about 2/3 months and today the engine light is flashing and juddering when driving... rang them up to get nothing but bad attitude, very unhelpful. Same with the people who the warranty it through! Defiantly go elsewhere and not Assured Car Sales!!
