Atlas Motor Company in response to Unhelpful
If Loretta had followed the claim procedure I explained when she collected the car and is clearly stated in her warranty information, that is to send an estimate to Blue Chip Warranties and do not start repairs without authorization, the car would have been repaired at no cost to her. When Loretta returned the car I scanned the ecu turned the light out and it did not come back on. I told Loretta to let me know if it came on again it is probably the 02 sensor I would book it in for repair. Loretta called to say the light was back on I asked when I could have the car she said she would contact me when she knew when here day off would be. Why would I not want to repair the car it was covered by the warranty there would be no cost to me, Regarding contact, Loretta tried to call on a Tuesday and Thursday when we were not open ( the opening times are in the webb site) did not leave voicemail , I had 1 email Sunday 8th September asking to bring the car in that day we are closed on Sunday, I checked my call log from 9th September and had 1 missed call 25 September at 9.45 am we open at 10am no voicemail message.
The engine light came on the same day i left the garage. I was told by the owner Terry, Bluechip warranty will cover this. WRONG! I had to pay £433.72 for the engine light work and diagnosis. Blue chip have paid £250. So i am still left with the rest of the cost. I have emailed and called Terry several times but have been ignored. AVOID THIS MAN / COMPANY

Buyer beware of dealing with Atlas Motor Company! Very quick to sell, not so forthcoming when an issue arises. Baught a small run around. 2 months in and fumes are pouring into the car. Called the dealer, they got it looked at, £75 for parts and labour, so not the end of the earth. They sell cars with a 3rd party 6 month warranty, sounds good? Beware! Unless the vehicle suffers a major fault, seems like not much is actually covered (read it carefully!). My problem is not covered, surprise surprise, in my opinion the warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on. I asked as a gesture of good will, would they help with the cost, I got an out right refusal. If it's not covered by the warranty, they are not interested. So I'm left with a car that is a potential health hazard, a bill and nothing I can do. I might as well have gone to a private seller and saved money on the original purchase of the car, paid to fixe any issues myself and probably would still be quids in.
Terry from Atlas Motor Company in response to Potential health hazard, refused to help
I would like to clarify several points you have raised in your review, firstly you had the car 3 months not 2 when you reported the fault. I am sure everyone understands that the warranty a for a 13 year old car cannot cover every item. As the faulty part on your car was not covered to help with the cost and as a good will gesture we offered to arrange for the repair to be carried out at trade cost. Your comment regarding the warranty covering little apart from a major fault and not worth the paper it is written on is untrue ,the warranty is comprehensive covering major and minor parts and the warranty book states clearly parts that are covered( there is no small print)
I purchased a Vauxhall Zafira from this dealership in May. After 6 weeks the gearbox went. As the dealership is very far away they told me to go to a local garage and they would cover the cost but I am struggling to find a dealership which will do the repairs under the warranty as most of them don't trust it.

Terry from Atlas Motor Company in response to Issues very difficult to resolve
I Contacted the customer and this was their reply I was sorry to hear about your call to my wife yester day, I have no issue with your service and with the car you sold me, however I was thinking of complaining before you resolved issue we had with the vehicle, but I didn't confirm this with the finance company, so there should have been no complaint lodged against yourself! So I have no idea of what website you are talking about, if you let me know I could look into it, after all I am satisfied with the out come.

The original review was not correct, the service Atlas motors was very good, they bent over backwards to get my Zapira repaired under the warranty! I would recommend them to any one wanting to buy a car and have the peace of mind of a warranty!
