I think these guys are untrustworthy. Some of the reviews left on sites such as this point towards sharp practice and that’s certainly my experience. Nothing good to write about the experience, It was dreadful. Having dealt with Top500, Premier GT, Tom Hartley, Saffron Cars, plus numerous Ferrari/Aston/Porsche main dealers. Never had cause to leave a poor review in 25 yrs. The guys who run Auto100 are low grade, second hand car lot wide boys. Sorry but that’s my view

❌❌ HORRENDOUS AND ILLEGAL ❌❌ ⛔️REPORTED TO AUTHORITIES⛔️ ⛔️❌❌Avoid ❌❌❌⛔️ ‼️AUTO 100 ‼️sold us a vehicle with a ❗️serious SAFETY RECALL❗️ Absolute ZERO service from the moment you drive away they wash their hands of you. Keep your fingers crossed nothing is or goes wrong with your EXPENSIVE VEHICLE ‼️This safety recall stated the fault on the vehicle could “lead to fire in the engine compartment and could propagate to the whole vehicle” “Please treat this matter with the urgency it requires “ THIS VEHICLE WAS SOLD ILLEGALLY TO US We approached Auto 100 regarding this illegal sale within 30 days of collection of the vehicle. After countless failed attempts to contact Auto 100 on the telephone and email and following legal advice, we expressed our wish to exercise our “Short term right to reject this dangerous vehicle” as this vehicle was mid-sold to us under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Auto 100 were dismissive, abrupt and rude. Their customer service was way below the standard expected from a supposed professional retailer. This dismissal of our right to return the vehicle having being sold to us ILLEGALLY we were then forced to involve the authorities and report this issue to the Drivers and Vehicle Standards Agency DVSA and Trading Standards. The DVSA is very clear on the point of law. Attached is taken from the DVSA official website. It’s an offence for a motor dealer to sell a car with an outstanding vehicle safety recall. They need to get it fixed before a car is sold.” We have now lodged this complaint with the Financial Ombudsman to pursue this matter as Auto 100 will not address this matter. Astonishing. Both Trading Standards and the DVSA were very interested in investigating this case and this matter is ongoing. We further now have involved the Financial Ombudsman at our time and expense. So here is our horrendous experience of Auto 100, Huthwaite, Sutton In Ashfield NG17 2HU in November 2023. It transpired in correspondence following our complaint, the vehicle was purchased by Auto 100 at British Car Auctions BCA and simply sold on. It is clear none of the necessary Safety Checks which a retailer is legally bound to check and rectify were carried out. Auto 100 did NOT comply with the standards expected of them by law, thus, leading to an illegal sale. All these points have been put to Auto 100 and their reply simply was “report us to whom you like” Absolutely shocking. ‼️‼️AVOID AT ALL COSTS AUTO 100 - IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SOLD A DANGEROUS VEHICLE AND THEN TO BE TREATED DESPICABLY BY CROOKS WHEN YOU BRING THESE SAFETY MATTERS TO THEIR ATTENTION. ‼️⛔️‼️⛔️‼️⛔️‼️⛔️‼️⛔️‼️⛔️‼️

If you ever receive a call to carry out work for this company, save yourself the time and fuel and don’t bother. Following extensive work installing equipment to a high end car, we still haven’t been paid. Numerous emails and phone calls only to be ignored.
I recently purchased a 2018 Porsche 911 991.2 GTS from Auto100.co.uk. While the brand reputation of Porsche and the inherent quality of the vehicle itself is not in question, my experience with the dealership post-purchase has been less than satisfactory, leading to a reconsideration of my initial positive impression. Shortly after the purchase (104 days, 1400 miles), I encountered several significant issues with the vehicle, including an oil leak in the turbo and severe corrosion on the exhaust clamps. These problems, likely pre-existing, were not disclosed at the time of sale. Additionally, the car arrived with a pitted and scratched windscreen and had noticeable swirl marks on the exterior, indicating subpar valeting. When I approached Auto100.co.uk for resolution, their response was disappointing and immediately dismissive. They insisted that these faults, even under warranty, would not be covered, citing them as normal for a vehicle of its age and mileage. This stance was concerning, especially given the dealership's promotion of itself as a provider of 'Quality Prestige Car Sales' with an inventory including high-end brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bentley, and rightly questions the value of their said warranty which I thankfully declined to extend. The dealership also repeatedly suggested that my expectations are to elevate the car to a 'new Porsche standard.' This is a misrepresentation of my stance. My expectation was, and remains, that a premium, high-value vehicle such as this would be sold without such significant pre-existing issues, or at least that these issues would be openly disclosed prior to purchase. The dealership's unwillingness to adequately address these problems, alongside their mischaracterisation of my expectations, has significantly tainted my overall satisfaction. It is disheartening to invest in what should be a premium purchase, only to encounter such challenges and a lack of support from the selling dealership. This review is intended to provide an honest and transparent account of my experience. While the Porsche 911 991.2 GTS is an exceptional vehicle, potential buyers should be aware of the possible challenges in post-sale support and the quality of care from Auto100.co.uk. I would strongly advise to take any vehicle you are considering purchasing from Auto100.co.uk for an independent assessment prior to purchase.

Tom in response to Horrible Selling Practice
Totally agree. We have had the worse experience possible with this car seller. Had to escalate to Ombudsman. Absolutely NO customer service having sold an illegal vehicle with a serious recall on. Sorry to hear you have had issues

Shocking outfit who bully and threaten to pull out of the deal when they've fudged the figures on your car. All this after letting you insure their vehicle. They are unpleasant and everything that is wrong with 2nd hand car selling.
Absolutely AWFUL appalling experience, from reception to sales staff! David on phone insisted I pay £1000 to reserve a car whilst I was on my way to the garage to see the car!! Despite telling him I was driving and unable to give him my details - he insisted I do otherwise he had booked someone in AFTER me and if they turned up early I will lose the car, despite me being booked in for an earlier appointment.. I was unhappy about being pressured to pay a £1000 whilst driving. When I did turn up at the garage David was rude and not very helpful. When I finally managed to see a 'sales' rep TOM he basically said there's the car have a look and walked off!! It took me another 30 mins to track him down again for him to try value my car, he spent ages messing around so I said give me a call with the valuation. 3 days later no call from Tom!! Absolutely ruthless outfit with questionable practices and appalling customer service. Rude unhelpful staff, a ridiculous client managing process. Avoid at all cost!!

I bought a Range Rover SVR urban from this dealer, I paid a whopping £91,000 for this car which I was told was in "perfect condition", this was not the case however. After driving around 50 miles, the engine light came on, I contacted the dealer and spoke to someone called Tom explaining the issue. Tom was very persuasive in asking me to use their warranty company called Bluechip, Bluechip advised me to take the car to a local dealer as they could only offer £60 an hour labour. I advised them that I would be taking the car to the main dealer as they would be more trustworthy . I went to the main dealer and paid £300 for an 02 sensor and £250 to diagnose the problem. The warranty company failed to pay anything towards the work as they insisted that I should have taken the car to a local garage. This is when alarm bells started to ring as I felt that they were covering something and didn't want me to find out. After several weeks of driving the car, the engine light came back on, once again I spent more money repairing the car. I was informed by Land Rover to have an inspection carried out, I then decided to carry out an inspection from an independent company called Lancashire Vehicle Assessors. This is when the events unfolded, once the inspection was complete, I was horrified to read the outcome of the report, the car had been involved in a major crash which was not mentioned on the advertisement or by the salesman. As a result of the crash, the car was damaged quite badly. The panels had been repainted, the tailgate is not original as it is blue and should be black like the rest of the car, the door panels are from a different car. Under the vehicle there is heavy corrosion and rust. There are numerous mechanical issues with the engine and fuel system. Furthermore the car is parked up in a garage, smelling of fuel with several other issues such as the lights on the dashboard. The garage have taken no responsibility and have completely washed their hands of the situation. Auto 100 primarily concern is "sale", not "after sale". Please avoid Auto 100 at all costs, they are crooks, that happily take large amounts of money from you, but if an issue was to arise they refuse to repair.
£80k on Range Rover and engine seized 6 months later ! Problems from day one, they have no interest once they have your money !

Did you manage to get this sorted or have you resorted to legal procedures?
