This is a follow up review from my last one (Stuart July 2016) Ok, so my Ford Galaxy overheated and I had to call out the breakdown service. It was obvious to me and the breakdown mechanic that this was a failed waterpump. I had my vehicle taken to a mechanic who confirmed it was the waterpump. Now, the important part. I had a lot of issues when I bought this motor last year and thankfully they were all resolved, in time but not quickly, by Autodevotion. However, when I purchased this vehicle I paid £250 to have the cambelt and waterpump replaced. I'm a qualified mechanic myself and I know that if you replace the cambelt you ALWAYS replace the waterpump. My mechanic I took the car to confirmed the cambelt looked new but not the waterpump. The waterpump was the original manufacture specification part. Meaning it hadn't been replaced, ever. In all fairness Autodevotion paid for all the work including an engine test to check for damage due to it overhaeating but they did try to put up a fight and demanded to see the paperwork stating that the cambelt and waterpump were requested by me to be replaced and proof that I paid. However, as far as I'm concerned that's simply not good enough. Only a cowboy would not replace a waterpump when replacing a cambelt and only a con artist would lie and say that it had been done. It's obvious to me that the mechanics Autodevotion use are cheap and of poor quality workmanship. If I had not noticed that my vehicle was overheating due to Autodevotion's failures my engine would be destroyed with a possible £2000+ bill for a whole new engine. Please take my advice and leave Autodevotion well alone. We always tend to buy with our eyes when looking at cars but any fool can make a car look shiny and new. Underneath, in my case, the vehicle will be trouble.

I bought a Mercedes from here in February. The car I originally requested to come and have a look at had gone so I had a look at this one. The car was in good shape and low millage but I am having an issue with the car making a funny noise. I have been in touch with them and the car is in for repairs but they need to improve their communication skills.

I am not happy with the service I received from Autodevotion in Kings Lynn. I bought a Mercedes from them in January. The dealers said they would fix some scratches on the rear of teh vehicle which they didn't so and they also lied about having the car taken into Mercedes to have another issue sorted. I wouldn't recommend at all or use again.

Jason Laws from Auto Devotion Kings Lynn (CLOSED DOWN) in response to Wouldn't recommed
Really sorry for the experience you have had at one on my dealerships, could you please provide you details so I can investigate this further, as we do take theses sort of reviews very seriously. Regards Jason Laws Sales Manager.
Brought a car from Auto Devotion in Kings Lynn and was told it was mechanically fine. Drove a Mini down the road and the driveshaft went. Won't be buying from here again.
Excellent service from Auto Devotion in Kings Lynn. In July I purchased a Vauxhall Astra from them and I am very pleased. The car was very clean and in really good condition when I got it and it runs really well, had no problems at all. The sales team were very knowledgeable and helpful through out the whole process. i would recommend.

I recently purchased a 2012 BMW 6 series grand coupe, The car was my 3rd purchase from Kings Lynn Autodevotion and again the service I received was exceptional. The price agreed also ensured a smile. I arrived to pick up the car on Friday 19th. The car was exactly as expected. immaculate inside and out, serviced and MOT'd these had been carried out as requested in the negotiations. The car was ready at the agreed time and the sales staff were very friendly and the coffee was also very welcome. I would very much recommend Autodevotion Kings Lynn for sales and aftercare.
I purchased a 2007 Ford Galaxy from Kings Lynn AD in May 2016. Ten miles down the road the engine management light illuminated, a very odd whooshing noise was heard from the engine, the n/s front window was sporadically malfunctioning when winding up and the air conditioning/ventilation system sounded odd, the tow bar electrics were not working and the rear window wiper rubber was hanging off. This was despite auto devotion carrying out a vehicle health/safety check prior to the sale. We agreed, as the issues were present when I left the sales room, auto devotion would carry out and pay for the work. After taking the car to auto devotion's service centre in Norwich I told them all the details of the issues afore mentioned. They refused to acknowledge that any of these issues were present and even said that the tow bar did have an electrical feed to it. I was messed about all day by the service centre, they had my car from 10-4 and not once did I receive a phone call from them, neither was any of the work carried out and even the rear window wiper wasn't replaced. I was told by the manager Jason that all of these issues were age related and general wear and tear. I decided to book my vehicle into Bussey's Ford main dealer of Norwich for a health check. It was identified that excess moisture was present in the brake fluid (this would cause loss of braking if not sorted), the turbo hose had a split in it, this resulted in loss of power and unfiltered air being drawn into the engine and was the cause of the whooshing noise. And the tow bar electric hookup did not have any electrical feed being supplied to it at all. The technicians at auto devotion Norwich stated: there was not a whooshing sound coming from the engine, the turbo and the hoses were fine. The tow bar electrics were all working except for the fog lamp feed. In addition, auto devotion carried out their own health check, prior to sale, but did not identify the brake fluid as being an issue. I was also under the impression this car would undergo a service from auto devotion, as standard but particularly as it did not have any identified service history. I feel the car was not cleaned to an acceptable standard and overall I was very dissatisfied with this. I think when cobwebs are found in a car one can be assured it has not been valeted by a professional, rather just cleaned to a basic level. I paid £250, half of the fee, to have a cambelt change by Mercedes Robinson's Motor Group (part of auto devotion and next to this branch in Kings Lynn). I was told by the salesman Chris that the cambelt change would be done by them, instead it was allegedly done by a different garage to which I was not given a receipt for. My partner and I agreed with Chris that we would take delivery of our vehicle on the Wednesday. I complained about each of these issues as they arose and the manager Jason was very pleasant. I was told I could have a full refund to which I declined. I finally received an apology and assurances that they would repair the issues that Bussey's Ford Main Dealer had found and that I'd get full reimbursement for my troubles. Their excuse for the issues was that it was not a new car and they do not check the brake fluid as part of their health and safety point check. I did, and still find it odd, that a seven seater family car with no service history did not have something as fundamental as the brake fluid checked! Not once did I receive an apology until I threatened legal proceeding and provided them with evidence of the issues. My advice is simple, do not purchase a car from auto devotion/Robinson's Motor Group and do not take your vehicle to an auto devotion service centre. Identifying that moisture is in brake fluid is the most simplest of servicing tasks to do but one of the most crucial and integral to safety. If auto devotion's technicians were unable to do this it fills me with dread what else they are unable/unwilling to do.
I recently purchased a BMW from Auto Devotion. The service was very good! A couple of weeks after purchase a couple of warning lights came on but I took it straight back and the issues were resolved straight away. The car could have been in better shape but I can't argue with the price I paid for it. I would recommend this dealership.

My husband drove 100 miles to view a red Mercedes 350 Sport Plus . Having spoken to Chris Elvin Who said it was in 'immaculate condition' with one stone chip and one scuffed wheel we parted with £250 as a deposit. The car had more than 20 stone chips, all the wheels were scuffed and significant lacquer peel. When I spoke to Chris on the phone to voice my disappointment there was no apology and the manager seemed anxious to avoid contact with my husband. Complete waste of time with a bunch of money hungry, lying sales men. Do not waste your time with this dishonest bunch of people who lack manners, and customer service.
Brendan Thank you for the cheque in part payment for my stereo head unit, It's great to see that good customer service is alive and well in King's Lynn. I will in turn recommend your company wherever I can. Have a good Christmas and a successful new year. Thanks again Bert Pike (Alan)
