I’m really disappointed with my experience at this dealership. I bought a car and the engine light came on the very next day. When I took it back, they said they didn’t understand why it happened, did an OBD scan, cleared the light and told me to return if it came back. It did. When I messaged them, I was told to bring it in again. After another scan, I was told to come back the following week so they could change a sensor. I was assured I’d get a car to get home, but the only one they had was a manual and I can only drive automatic. So I had to make other arrangements. I dropped the car off and went home, waiting all day for an update. Only at the end of the day was I told it would be ready the next day. When I picked it up, I was told the car had been serviced and the sensor replaced, but it clearly hadn’t been fixed because the light came back on within four weeks. I tried contacting them again, but got no response for two days. When I finally managed to bring the car back, they just cleared the light again and said they’d replace the sensor if it came back. They were supposed to have done that the first time. The engine light came on yet again, and after being ignored in messages, I had to go through the finance company. Suddenly the dealer was “happy to sort it.” I brought the car back again and was told to leave it for a couple of days, with no offer of a courtesy car or even help getting home. I had to wait 20 minutes down the road for a lift. The garage is 45 minutes to an hour from where I live, and I’ve had to go there 8 times for the same issue. Additionally, I dropped the car off on a Tuesday at 9am right after speaking with the finance company. I messaged them on the Wednesday asking for an update or any information about what was wrong with the car, but I got no response. I ended up wasting £80 on rides to and from work because they didn’t give me a courtesy car when they took mine. By Friday, my dad had to ring them because I still hadn’t received any replies. He was told that what they were doing was a “good gesture” because the warranty was supposedly over, which was not true. The issue started the day after I picked the car up, and they had not sorted it properly, so it was still their responsibility to fix it. I picked the car up on Saturday and the engine light came back on within 15 minutes. After constant back-and-forth and no real answers, I contacted the finance company to reject the car. I had to pay £60 for a diagnostic, which showed two pages of faults. I was eventually able to reject the car, but still had to pay for mileage and “damages,” so I lost money in the end. He want £3000 off me for a car that had a issue from the start and he never actually sorted the issue the engine like kept coming back on I started this process the end of November and it’s only just getting sorted out and I’m out of pocket £1700!! Overall, This whole experience was stressful, unprofessional, and completely avoidable if the dealership had dealt with the problem properly in the first place.. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership based on what I’ve been through!

Do not buy anything from this Dan!!! He still owes me nearly £6000 for selling me a car with dodgey MOT. MOT was done at a garage with the same name as his surname. Say no more !!!! He is a liar.

Saw the car on website..good price for year mileage etc..everything was sorted out hassle free and quickly..James and staff were nice helpfull..all in all pleasant and efficient car buying experience..all car papers were up to date and I drove away feeling satisfied with my purchase and 3 months warranty and basic AA cover..So far so good with Autobarn Sheffield!

I have just purchased a car from Here and I am extremely happy with the friendly and hassle free service I received, the car was spotless exactly as described in the add, the guy was helpful where needed and he even dropped the car off to my home address I would definitely recommend this garage, if you are looking for a reliable and well looked after used vehicle to pay these guys a visit.

I bought a car last year from Autobarn Sheffield, thinking because it's from a garage then everything will be in order and I wouldn't have to worry about anything. I paid extra money for an extended warranty, which was suppose to start after the initial free provided warranty. I paid about £150 for this. I tried to haggle on the price but they said no - because supposedly they was going to do the final service and mot, as well as replace a little plastic trim. I left the car with them for an extra week for all of this to be done, I was assured that everything was good. At the time I thought they were all friendly people... Shortly after buying, the car suffered an engine malfunction, limp mode, it pretty much gave up on me on a duel carriage way. It was squealing when being driven too. I wasn't offered any support from the garage and was told unless its on their courtyard then it's not their problem. Horrible experience, I had to wait all afternoon until RAC came to help me at around midnight. The garages service was appalling, emails and messages ignored too and spoken to like I was nobody. Now, I trusted what these guys had told me. I thought everything was okay because it was from a garage. I had put in my diary when the most faith ot should be, turns out after a non fault accident... They had never done the mot. So they gave it me on collection with the same short mot when I looked at the car and had asked for them to do this (settling for paying the full car price for this0 They also hadn't done the final service. I hadn't checked up on everything because this was my first car and I just trusted them. Never again. I would not recommend this garage to anyone, I'd give 0 stars if I could. Well and truly disappointed now. Lost faith in garages now, I'm dreading the day I need to buy a new car.

Bought Hyundai Tucson from Autobarn Sheffield on 29th December got paper work showing 3,months warranty coil spring snapped 4 days later could not drive it got mobile mechanic to come next day put new spring on £74 phoned Autobarn up they said send invoice have text several times but no reply will not recommend this dealer I was going to change my wife's car but she has stopped me?
