Great salesman but Autocars were misleading. We purchased a BMW car from which was 13.5K, and were short of 2K and the guy said they work with a finance company with good rates and no processing fee. We applied for finance and we got a loan for 2K from "Motonovo" finance and when the papers came through the guy showed us monthly payment figures and again stressed they was no other extras and asked us to sign the pages which are required. When we got the documents from the finance company, we realised there was an admin fee of £390. So for a loan of 2K over 2 years my interest was £274 and admin fee was £390, which unfortunately I have to pay now. When I rang the salesman to ask he said "admin fee is common from any finance" ,if we had known this I would have paid the balance with a credit card or taken a loan from my bank. VEry sad and disappointed the way it all happened.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. We have checked our records thoroughly for the past 2 years and we cannot see you personally buying a car from ourselves. We have also checked with MotoNovo and they concur this. However, we do take customer care extremely seriously and we do not want to upset anyone, either intentionally or otherwise. The person actually buying a car from MotoNovo undergoes an electronic signing ceremony, no papers are actually signed physically. The buying customer, who's name the finance is in, has control of the keyboard. They go through the finance document, with full disclosure, then opts (once happy) to 'e sign' the documents before handing the keyboard back to the member of staff. Our members of staff are trained to follow close protocols and ensure transparency during this procedure through every stage. Even after this stage, MotoNovo ring the signing customer as stated on the document with a welcome call to go through the finance and ensure the customer is happy. Alongside this, MotoNovo send the signing customer a welcome pack, which contains a copy of the agreement in full, showing a full financial breakdown of any interest and or charges for review, as per the initial e click document. The signing customer has 14 days from point of signing to cancel the finance, if they are not happy with any element of the finance agreement on review of the documents and they can organise payment in another manner. As mentioned, we have no trace of your purchase, and indeed how long it was since purchase. We have noted that someone else has left a similar review within 3 minutes of this one, and again after checking our records, we have no trace of supply. We honestly pride ourselves on the quality of the reviews we receive and make every endeavour to investigate and respond effectively to any issues raised. We are genuinely sorry if you or anyone you know feels that they were mislead by any actions or intentions undertaken. We are confident this was not the case. We have reviewed and are happy with our protocols and all staff are fully aware of making sure customers understand financial agreements entered into.

I bought my car in July from Autocars in Hull and I have waited cautiously to write a review because to be honest I think I got a really good deal for a car that is absolutely first class there is nothing else that I could have wished for, Genuinely decent people who do their absolute best for you, Would I recommend this place You bet I would , they go the extra mile 10/10.

Bought a great new car from Autocars, and was given a good price for my old vehicle. After a week I had a rattle on the exhaust it was found to have a corroded bracket. Carl sent me to the workshop where they not only replaced the bracket but also the entire back box no questions asked, great after sales service, and I would highly recommend Autocars to my family and friends.
