brought a toyota yaris off auto hub its a geat car runs lovley thanks auto hub
I am totally disgusted with AutoHub in Ware (they have moved and rebranded). I bought a car from them last November and have had various issues which most have been resolved apart from a lost key. I was told at the time of purchase that there were 2 keys but when I paid I was only given 1. I voiced my annoyance and a spare key was bought. However, in order to get my spare key I would have to go back to them (I live 2 hours away) so I said I would return in a years time to get the key when I came back for my first free service in September and gave advance warning that I would be popping in to get my spare key. I was informed by Tom the manager that they had just moved and that the spare key was in a lock up. Since my service on 17 Sep I have phoned and emailed Tom the manager and he has not bothered to return my emails or phone calls. Today I managed to get him and he was pretty nonchalant about not returning my call and emails. Apparently he had been too busy to look for my key. The message was pretty much 'I don't care about you'. I really wish I hadn't bought the car from this place and I will be reporting them to Trading Standards for false advertising and misleading customers.

They reopen again what is the new company called? I am taking them to court.
We bought a x type jag in April. On way home was blowing black smoke pulled over and called garage advised it was dirty fuel. Which it was not a filled it up at Esso round the corner. Got to home after days of chasing gem warranty got sent to garage at our cost for diagnoses' to who h we had fixed at our cost. We finally got money back from gem after days of pestering them. 4 months later yet more problems. I would have gone with my gut feeling on the day and walked away. DO NOT DEAL with this dodgy garage.
Absolute fly-by-night business. Avoid. Heard that they closed down this operation and re-opened up the road in the Ability Business Centre on Hertford Road. Now calling themselves a different name. Complete joke.
Do NOT use this dealer they took our deposit and promised to deliver the car within a week - after making numerous calls and chasing around I had no car after 4 weeks- the staff were just passing me around from one staff member to another without a clue to why the car was not ready- no one rang me back after leaving numerous messages. After struggling without a car for 4 weeks in the summer holiday I cancelled the purchase and requested a refund, which they are refusing to give back. I was left with no car for a month and £500 pound out of pocket.
Do not go anywhere this dealer unless taking along AA or similar inspector .
Bought a car for my son it broke down the next day on his way to work :( It was towed back to them they said it needed a sensor they kept it all wk never replied to my calls/mail etc. Eventually after me saying I was coming over they agreed to refund - it's over a wk later we have no car or refund yet!! I'm furious and let them know without swearing or being abuse tho I felt like it. I dealt with one person who accused me of being threatening after I said I wld be leaving a bad review - spoke to another yest he was nasty and said they wld call the police omg I'm still angry I didn't check reviews first. My son is gutted no car no money.

What car was this? I bought one from them that had a 'sensor issue'. Wonder if it's the same car.

Did you get anywhere in court? I plan on taking them to court myself.
Purchased a 2006 Fiat Grande Punto in April. Battery failed after 3rd day of ownership which was repaired by the trader but I had to call them to be advised it was repaired. However from day of purchase there is a major gearbox/drive fault which the trader stated they would repair but would have failed the MOT let alone been an advisory. There is something clearly array at this trader. The car was left with the trader for a week with no update for the repair, upon chasing them for an update they stated they would not complete the repair as it was 'trade purchase'. This was not the case as I had purchased a warranty for engine and gear box for £50.00. Since then no response, I was about to visit the manager personally to request a refund as I have lost faith in the trader however since visiting this page I have written to them claiming a full refund or legal action. This trader does not appear to follow basic standards for car safety and customer satisfaction, becoming very illusive once any sign of dissatisfaction is shown towards them for a product they have provided. Quote the Sales of Goods Act 1979 and Customer Rights Act 2015 if they do not respond to your request for a refund and prepare for a long battle they may go to court. I was relieved to see others have taken this step. Do not part with you money to this trader which is flagrantly abusing systems and avoiding basic services.

Fully agree with your review, do not go anywhere this dealer
Nothing but trouble with this company. I was advised that a fault with a sensor on the car I bought would be fixed before collection but it clearly wasn't as it broke down the following day. I had to be towed home at a cost of £160. I called Autohub and was told they wouldn't help me if I didn't bring the car back, which wasn't possible. I told them how much I was quoted to have the sensor fixed (£230) and they said they'd call me back. They didn't. I called them again and was told the same thing. Still didn't call me back. I went ahead an got the repair but the car broke down again and I was advised that the ECU wasn't working properly (didn't get a quote but was told to expect to pay plenty of £££££). Also the advert was full of lies: • It said the car was well maintained with service history but hadn't had a full service for 7 years, the cam belt was overdue by nearly 40,000 miles (i was told it could break at anytime and ruin the engine). • It said the MOT had no advisories and it had several. •It said it had A/C but the condenser was in such a state that it didn't work. I was quoted £700+ for a full service & cam belt change. With all this in mind I decided to reject the vehicle and be refunded. I wrote to Autohub and informed them of my intention. They got the warranty company to call me and try to negotiate compensation / repairs but many of the issue were not covered and more costly than the car itself. Autohub wrote to me offering me £160 compensation. I told them I rejected the car and wanted my money back. Letters went back and forth for sometime, with them arguing the toss and trying to lie to me about my rights. I spoke to Citizen's Advice and also reported them to Trading Standards. Eventually they agreed to the refund but refused to collect the car (it was not stated to me that it's in they policy to have me return the vehicle so it was down to them to pick it up but they just wouldn't). Luckily I bought the car using my credit card and sort a refund through a Section 75 claim. I also asked for the money back for recovery & repairs. It's a long process and took nearly 3 months to get my money back. TL;DR I would advise everyone to avoid this place. If you have bought a duff car from Autohub know your consumer rights and don't let them fob you off.

I got my money back through my credit card company in the end. Absolute stress. They got the car sent back to them. I wonder if you bought the same car? It's not just a sensor, the car is an absolute dog. What car did your son buy?

Hey, if the press are interested in this company they might wanna check out reviews for the manager's (Tom Delgado) old company 'Elite Prestige Cars' in Hoddesdon. Pretty much the same deal as AutoHub. Looks like he folded one dodgy business and set up under a different name in a neighbouring town.
