I bought a car from these guys about 3 weeks ago the car is what i wanted as i knew buying an rx8 at this low price was risky and i enjoy fixing cars, some of the issues I had with buying the car- The advert on autotrader was a pack of lies e.g full service history, when there was no service book or record of any work ever, the advert said immaculate condition, when it has 4 patches of rust, 3 kerbed wheels and many dents and scratches, the clutch is on its way out and there is some other mechanical bits and pieces such as air con not working and worn brakes. I would say to anyone buying a car from these guys dont think of it as buying from a dealer consider it a risk like buying from a car auction and set aside money for repairs.

I bought a vaxhaul astra with 3 months engineand gearbox warranty. A month gearbox was gone - had to towed to their approved warranty garage got quotation for 1100£. Warranty company refused to ay straight away - making excuses that car is too old and blah blah!!! BTW it took 20 days to reach this stage. I called Autohub about this and the guy (a dodgy manager) said bring thecar here andwe will fix it. Sounds good right - after chasing them for the status of car almost a phonecall twice a day I found out that they have put wrong gear box in the car. Now its already 3 months since gearbox broke. I was clearly told by the dodgy manager that take your car with faultygearbox (thereverse gear doesn't work) or we will keep your car for another 3 monthsandwont giveart'sass about fixing it. I made my choice andpicked up the car. Took it to local garage now needto spend 1100£ from my pocket. In short avoid this place at all - the manager speaks nice and polite but when things go wrong he wont even come on phone. Absolutely nightmare

I bought a vauxhall zafira last month, 3 days later started having problems on the 5th day i had to have it recovered back to them due to it blowing massive amount of white/ grey smoke. They had the car 2 weeks (with mechanic next door) called me to say it was fixed. I went to collect took for a quick drive and questioned what pile of crap car smoked even worse. Tom the manager/owner told me he was going to send the car away AGAIN to another garage in Colchester. The 2nd garage had the car a week I then received phone call to say they had sorted it finally after 3 weeks of car being gone I went to colchester to collect...... unfortunately 3 days later the car was returned back to autohub...lies after lies.... they have refused refund until we give them another 48hrs to fix to car...... very frustrated......left with no car for nearly 5 weeks...... please do NOT waste your hard earned cash and your time on these people.... this is still on going and have got legal advice!!

I brought a vauxhall zafria 1.9 2005 0e55 ufh had so many issues with the car the engine light was removed from the dash board and the car blew loads of black some and diesel fuems inside the car took the car back 7 times to get fixed and they didn't do it at the end I got my money back which took a long time every time you ring up he is always in a meeting funny now he has put the car back up for sale which I paided 1900 and he put it up for 2250 they spent money on the car and did not fix the problem stay well away from this car and auto hub car sales.

I BOUGHT A CAR FROM THEM FOR MY SISTER. AFTER TWO DAYS I FOUND OVERHEATING PROBLEMS AND LOTS OF OTHER PROBLEM WITH THE CAR. CALL THEM AND THEY SAID WILL CALL BACK SOON. AFTER 3 DAYS I CALLED THEM BACK AND THEY SAID ITS SOLD AS SEEN! I PAID £3200! THEY SAID THE PROBLEM THEY DONT COVER. I TOOK IT TO LOCAL GARAGE AND FIXED IT FOR £1470! AFTER A RESEARCH I FOUND : 1. THEY BUY ALL CARS FROM PEOPLE THROUGH ON-LINE AS SCRAPE PRICE. THEN WASH IT AND HIDE ALL THE PROBLEMS AND RESALE IT FOR LOTS OF MONEY. 2. I TRIED TO SALE SAME CAR TO THEM THROUGH THERE WEBSITE THAT I BOUGHT FROM THEM AND THEY TOLD ME THEY CAN PAY £775!!!! I PAID £3200 JUST COUPLE OF DAYS BACK! 3. THAT GUY TOM WHO ACT LIKE A MANAGER ACTUALLY HE IS THE OWNER AND HE LIES ALL THE TIME. 4. DONT DONT AND DONT TRUST THEM FULL OF LIES. THANKS.

I purchased a vehicle in December 2015, it had bald tyre as one of the issues, but needs new parts for fuel system, at a cost of £2000. Bought via credit card for protection and now trying to get vehicle repaired. I have also reported them to local trading standards. Next move will be legal action.

I am absolutely blown away by the true and total professionalism of Accept Car Finance. My experience has been very good, from the help and support I was provided right through to the delivery of my beautiful car. I have purchased a BMW 318D tourer and I am so happy with my new car. I paid my deposit, the finance was sorted in a flash with no real awkward questions or masses of paperwork, just a simple and very fair transaction and within a week I am now driving this amazing car. Do not even try to do business with AUTHOUB. I got a jaguar s type from them. They were very deceptive. I was informed that the air conditioning needed a gas top up which I did but the problem still remained. I was told to have the car checked by their mechanic, I took the car and the fault was diagnosed but Tom the manager now had to tell me that they will not be responsible for the repairs. I had to bring in the trading standards and solicitors in before the could listen to me. I returned the car after a few days of purchase and the car stayed with Tom for up to 3 months. Tom was very arrogant in dealing with me. It is better to avoid doing business with him if you want to live long. They practically seized my car for the whole period as I had to spend a lot of money to get my car fixed at a reputable garage. I just purchased a 2012 Astra - from the moment we walked in the door the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us plenty of space and time to browse but we're close by when we had any questions. The salesman that dealt with us was extremely knowledgeable and took his time being extremely thorough in all information regarding the car and sale. He also gave me a great price on the part exchange of my old car. Upon collecting my new car our treatment was great - my new car is immaculate and i am very pleased with the service. I recently bought a Mercedez C230 from Autohub after having the sales man have it checked over by their on sight mechanic. Within 3 weeks of me purchasing the vehicle is now un-drivable. The car is not fit for purpose as advertised and has major underline issues. After notifying Autohub of the numerous issues they agreed to repair the vehicle. This was agreed early September 2015, the issue still has not been resolved with numerous conversations and emails now being ignored. Please avoid at all costs.
