Scam alert ‼️ Chris Field sold a car to my daughter we test drove it at his garage in Plymouth he said he was selling it for a friend Jonathan David’s we paid£3000 the car came with a 3 month warranty fresh mot and service within a week it had lights flashing on the screen and bleeping the whole time when driving we contacted Chris and Jon and no reply to text and getting fobbed off on the phone now the reg doc came back as a cat c write off the car is too dangerous to drive it has so much wrong with it we are going to trading standards how can you sell a car knowing it’s dangerous shame on you both ‼️

Purchased a tidy little run-around from Chris at Automotion, the sort of car you realistically expect a few snags with in the coming years as it was ten years old to start with. In the first few weeks of ownership I noticed a couple of things that may have been issues so took it to my local mechanic for advice and was assured they were very minor but may be worth consulting the seller. I did this and from previous experiences, I didn’t expect Automotion to want to help out but Chris was happy to take the car back and correct the issues. I was given a decent loan car whilst mine was being fixed and this became complicated as a part required for a fix got quite badly delayed and I ended up having to keep the hire car for a few weeks. Chris was fantastic during this process, staying in touch with any progress on repairs and parts and felt assured at all times. Having now had fixes completed, I’m now back in possession of my purchase in excellent order and nicely valeted too. My kids are delighted, I’ve likely got myself a decent little run-around for a good few years and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Automotion as I genuinely felt Chris did right by me at every turn. Fantastic customer service 👍👍👍

Worst customer service I have ever encountered Do NOT buy from this dealer unless you take a qualified mechanic with you to check the car. Do NOT trust the MOT. Trading standards have been informed

A very accommodating dealer. I Discovered the vehicle I eventually purchased on the Web. Chris was very helpful providing pertinent information and organized delivery for my remote purchase. Car was nicely prepared and required paperwork supplied. Highly recommended.

As well know, buying a car over the internet/phone can be a nightmare . I exchanged my BMW 320 tourer which I kept in first class condition. I expect the same from my new car, and I must say I wasn't disappointed. The car was exactly as Chris described. I would recommend buying from this company, he stands by the warranty which is three months without any concerns. One very happy customer!
