I purchased a BMW 320i on finance from Autoroute Car Centre. Within the first week the EML light came on. I went back and fourth to the dealer at my own cost, which i was not compensated for. I then attended and spent a full day off at the dealers as they were supposedly going to attain the part to fix the vehicle and resolve the issue. On that day i attended the dealer at 11:30 and did not leave till 18:30 only to find out my vehicle issue was not solved or repaired as the issue was 'something else'. The dealer then (manager named Nigel) stated out of 'courtesy' to 'save me costs' they will collect the vehicle from my residence. Upon collection of the vehicle, i informed the employee of the dealer that they will need to fuel the vehicle as it is on reserve. He then stated that the dealer did not provide him with any funds to do that so he asked me. I said no and i honestly did not have any funds to provide. So the chap went on and decided to go via the Dartford Toll and not pay its fee's. The vehicle was returned the same day and upon collection i stated that i want the old parts that are being changed as proof of repairs. This was not provided upon return. After a few days i received TWO penalty notices from Dart Charge. I relayed this information to the dealer who stated that they will deal with it if i send them an email with proof of penalty notices. The penalty notices ended up being a first fault so the cost was only £5. However, the dealer requested me to pay for it. I challenged this by calling the dealer and stated that i should not be paying for this, even if it is £5 it should not be my responsibility. A few days went and the car was 'ok'. However, now the vehicle's EML light has come on again with the Fuel Pump sign. So my experience has been stressful as the dealer has not repaired the vehicle as of yet. It seems to me that they are using other methods (which i am not aware of) to remove EML signs in order to save them the costs of repair. And once the 3 month warranty is over they can fob me off. Not on my watch. I will be contacting my finance company and requesting them to take it to court. Unlawful, Unjust, Rude, Irresponsible, Lying Autoroute Car Centre / Autoroute Bredhurst.

I bought a BMW from them paid all in full for the car home noticed a ticking noise took it bmw they told me timing chain issue so I called the garage they said send it back at my own cost of £250 and they will sort it, so I did. I got a phone call saying they have it and there's nothing wrong found out they got BMW to do a winter check on the car that doesn't go anywhere near the timing chain so I had to pay the £1200 to replace the timing chain and I'm in the middle of taking them court. Autoroute Car Centre are a vile company and just put the phone down on me when I call.

Bought a Jaguar from them advertised as Full Service History, drove from Somerset to complete the deal, car was not ready but two hours later was ready to go. When the paperwork was being completed the delightful salesman explained that the service history was at the dealers being stamped and updated, I asked that the missing FSH to be sent on to me, even had it entered on to the sales agreement. The FSH has never arrived, the garage now dont answer emails etc! I rang Jaguar and the car has never been anywhere near a Jaguar dealers for any services. I am now in contact with CAB with the intent of taking them to court. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

Avoid Autoroute Car Centre at all costs. Purchased a Freelander with - unbeknown to us - a blown head gasket with a patch job. In no time at all, it blew again. They took it back after much argument, but didn't fix it. Just tried a quick fix. After the head gasket blew another 2 times, they finally sat on it for over a month. Had to take them to small claims court in the end. Judge ruled fully in our favour. They had to take the vehicle back and refund our money. Avoid at all costs!

AVOID AVOID AVOID This garage will try their upmost to avoid any responsibility for repairs they should have made prior to selling their cars. From buying the car on day 1 we had problems, they were helpful for the first 2/3 times I contacted them but this soon faded and they became rude and un-helpful. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Another garage who didn't know the problems we had pointed out to me that the engine etc was being held together with tape and it looked like someone had been hitting pipes with a hammer. AVOID this garage

Please if anyone is reading this review for Autoroute Car Centre then my advice is do not buy a car from here. I've had nothing but issues with the car, I have taken it back several times and they told me there nothing wrong with it and I had the RAC come out and look at the car and there was fault after fault and now the warranty has ran out on it they wont help me. I'm stuck with the car now I have to get the work done on the car myself if anyone has had problems with any cars something should be done and my car I went down the dual carriage way at 60mph and I turned it self off and the warning light came on. I do not recommend this car dealership.

I bought a car from this dealership last year. I had just got a new job and needed to travel about 150 miles to start the following week. I had no car at the time so started looking around for one. After a few bad experiences buying private I went to a (fairly) local garage. The low prices, location, and the checks offered were the main selling points for me at this dealership. When looking at the car it seemed OK and tidy (from my limited car knowledge). I was however concerned as my new job was starting soon about how long it would be to get the car. So I talked to the salesman about this, who did not seem too concerned about this, saying it would be ready quickly, and that they were not too busy at the moment so probably even quicker than usual. So I put down the deposit and went to wait for my new car. A few days passed and as I was very reliant on a car to start work I called up the garage to see how things were progressing. I was told everything was OK and it was believed my car was next in line for the checks. Another day passed and no call, so the next morning I tried to get in touch yet again. To which I was told that it was expected my car would go through the workshop later that day. So I waited the day and again nothing. By this point the end of the week is approaching and my stress levels are rising, looking at highly expensive alternatives to getting to work. I try again to contact the company who by now are getting annoyed at the constant contact, saying they did have other customers, and had more expensive cars to look at, but my car was next in line. Finally at the end of the day they let me know that it was ready for collection. So I went and collected the car the next day, upon arrival I was told the check engine light was stuck on, and they believed that this was due to a low battery. If this was not the case I should bring it back to them (nice gesture but they knew I was not going to be around that long). So I filled up (see below) and went on my way. I must have went about a whole 2 miles before I noticed the growing crack in the windscreen that they must have missed with their extensive tests. Who knows, they MAY have fixed this if I had went back, but because I needed the car it was cheaper to just live with it and get it replaced myself than to take it back and wait another week to have it fixed. Had I not put down a deposit and been in a not so good financial state at the time I would have walked away from the company. Had I not been in a rush to get the car the experience may have been very different. But overall the stress I was in at the time, coupled with the negativity of the staff was very annoying. Hence the low rating. A few other points to make: When buying first thing I had to do was re-fuel. The company gave some story about how they drain the fuel so no one steals the cars. Not sure on the validity of this, but given fuel prices this was a little disheartening, and felt quite wasteful. I mentioned the check engine light not going out, well eventually it did go out. It has not came back since then. Although the engine has since failed and still no light. I can not really comment on the quality of the cars sold. This is my third car, and drives much nicer than my previous two. However cost more than both of them together. It also went through the MOT 6 months after purchase with no majors, which is good. However 13 months after purchase developed a misfire which requires the engine to be stripped down to look at.

Quick, friendly and efficient dealership. Rang to view a car, 20 minutes later test drove the car, a week later it was mine. Engine management light came on after a week of having it, called to let them know, took the car down the next day and they did a diagnostics test which said a spark plug had gone, they ordered them in there and then and was back home after an hour or so. Brilliant dealership highly recommended.
