I cant understand how there are 5 star reviews for this company? Autovogue are interested in is make quick money, profit profit profit ££££ not interested in you as a customer being satisfied, the body kit on my BMW was fine until it started to make noise 5 months after delivery, the paint was not same all round, poor workmanship on the side skirts, honestly go elsewhere!

Why didn't you use your paint warranty?

My husband bought a car earlier this year (and it wasn't cheap!) only to find out 8 months later that the car doesn't have any service history whatsoever, despite Autovogue advertising it as full dealership history. Have been very unhelpful since we have asked for some compensation as we wouldn't have touched the car without service history if we had known. Now in receipt of a letter from their solicitors saying "we paid what we bargained for"!!! An absolute joke. If buying from them I would be careful!

I purchased an AVR BMW 435d coupe from Autovogue in Stafford in the spring. I know them as being a very reputable dealer as my friends and family have had some 6 cars from them over the past 8 years, I must say that we have not experienced anything but superb service and enjoyed an amazing car that is so unique with a beautifully built conversion and such a head turner. i have covered 11,000 miles now for business (director of a tech company so I live in my car) we did have one issue with kerbing a wheel (my fault in London) Stuart and his team authorised a replacement for us at trade price and changed the tyre and tyre sensor at there workshop within 30 minutes and once it was complete gave the car a complimentary clean.......now thats what you call service. I bought a car from Autovougue last year and all seemed ok until I drove down the motorway. Car was shaking and I raised this to Autovougue who advised me to take to a specialist in my local area. Turned out that no spriggot rings where on any of the wheels. Autovougue forgot to put these on when they changed the wheels. They posted these to me and I had to take to a local garage to apply them to wheel at no cost. A month later the paint started chipping, I notified Autovougue and they advised I take it to a local garage to inspect and Autovougue would pay for a spot fix. The garage assessed my car and mentioned that it looked as though the paint was not primed properly which is why it was lifting. I notified Autovougue and they dismissed it was the case. 6 months later I had to bring my car to a specialist painter to do some work he assessed the car and noticed bubbling in the paint work. Same reason was given around the fact the paintwork wasn't primed properly and all of this was on Autovougue's body kit. Autovougue want proof from both companies and it was given to them. They then expected me to travel over 200miles to leave my car there while they rectify and was not prepared to reimburse me for travel or give a car. I decided to get my car done locally and send them the bill but they refused to pay. Took to small claimed court and dispite all the documents being shown the judge dismissed in their favour. This company is a dishonest one and I will never recommend them to anyone. Avoid like the plague!

Autovogue are trying to sell a car that was clearly not as advertised, all wheels marked, marks everywhere, poor knowledge in general, wasted my time from start to finish. One of the worst dealers about. Just don't go near them.

Avoid at all costs. I bought a car in Oct 2014 and it has been back and forth to autovogue several times. It has had done: cv joints £741, headlight adjuster, 4wd pump, fan heater motor and also has a serious gearbox issue. All these problems were fixed with huge reluctance from autovogue who lie and neglect their responsibilities under the law. They lose letters, "forget" to call back, refuse to acknowledge faults, won't honour their warranty and claim they have a loan car which is never available. They provide a warranty which is only a verbal one - this is illegal. I am awaiting a court date for a judge to decide who fixes the gearbox. Avoid this garage at all costs!

Andy keen in response to autorogue

As an update on my review above, I took Autovogue to a small claims court to get some sort of compensation for the faults on my vehicle. After being outed in court as a complete liar, the managing director was found to have neglected to honour the verbal warranty that he supplied. The judge awarded in my favour and I received compensation, but the whole process took a year to get a result.

I paid strong money for the car and After 2 weeks of having it needed new tyres and brakes all around which was disappointing. This being wear and tear was the least of my issues, the car started losing power and would not pick up speed a local garage diagnosed as turbo sensor. I took the car to autovogue twice spending £200 odd in train tickets and fuel but according to them the car seemed fine. Another problem the keys did not work unless you went close up and held it at the window. They again said they cannot fix this unless the keys stop working at alL which is ridiculous. All of this happened within 2 weeks of buying the car which indicates autovogue were fully aware of all issues. I would strongly advise anyone not to purchase a car from them unless you have a full rac/aa inspection done. This was my main regret was not getting a proper inspection done on it before buying it.
