Today we travelled almost 2 hours to see a BMW X1 listed at £19999. We booked an appointment for half 3. When we got there we were told they were running behind, so to just go have a look at the car and we would be attended to shortly. 1 hour later and still no sign of help. We went back to reception and finally got someone to get us the keys so we could do a test drive. The car had no fuel, the electrics kept malfunctioning, and there was no fuel, so the car stopped driving completely in the middle of the road. Lucy (staff member) had no car knowledge, manners, or etiquette. Wasted journey. Complete waste of time. DO NOT GO TO THE CANNOCK STORE

Don’t buy waste of time and money sold me a remapped car and they don’t want to fix any problems the place is a joke getting trading standards involved aswell as my car finance company involved with the place

Minus 5 Star rating - absolute shambles and disastrous service Avoid at all cost! -Purchased a car in April, within a few weeks the stereo stopped playing sound. -Waited 2 weeks to get booked for a courtesy car whilst driving the existing car with the ongoing problem. - Drive all the way to Cannock only to be given a courtesy car with a very foul smell lasting over a week. - Was called within a day or so to be told that there is no problem with the sound and to drop the Courtesy car back asap as they really need it back (very little regard for my car), after insisting they keep the longer they decided to keep until end of the week, which luckily they noticed the problem. - The car was kept for 2 weeks and returned advising that a software update has resolved the problem. - Upon collecting the car and taking home the issue reappeared within 2/3 days and the sound remained totally hard down. -Waited another 2 weeks for a courtesy all whilst driving my car with no sound, in the meantime 2 new issues arise, one with the SOS phone system battery and another with the Drivetrain warning and car may go in to limp mode. - Finally drop the car back off to Cannock again this time given a decent courtesy car and given full assurance from management that the issues will be dealt with. - From their inspection they confirmed that the AMP was faulty and will be sent to a audio specialist, a replacement SOS phone battery will be ordered and the drive train issue was relating to the inlet manifold which will also need replacing. - 4 weeks later the update is that the AMP has been confirmed not faulty and so will require further investigation in to the wiring system, why was this not looked in to initially? The parts for the battery and inlet manifold have only just arrived and will commence the work sometime soon. As it stands, I have only driven the car for approx 1 or 2 weeks without issues and doesn’t seem it will be resolved anytime soon! I have been sold a car which is faulty and not fit for purpose, I have had to cancel my summer plans and get togethers. I totally regret my purchase and totally recommend anyone else from doing so.

My partner and I visited Available Car Cannock last year both looking to buy a car. Long story short she did and I didn't. On test driving one she liked, we saw that it had many things you would expect of a second-hand car and requested that some scratches and scuffs were sorted out before confirming the purchase. Service was good however the car was not particularly clean on collection. At hand over, we were offered the usual extras including special car mats at around £200, which we declined. When we got in the car we noticed that the original mats had been removed (Con number 1). This should have been an indicator of what was to come. The lack of cleaning became more evident a few weeks later when I was cleaning down the side of the seats and found the previous owner's driving license (this of course was returned to her). This morning we took the car to the garage to have its tyres replaced, on finding the locking wheel nut in the glove compartment the mechanic told us it was not the correct one. I contacted Available Car and explained this to them. They told me that their warranty does not cover removable items. How this applies to us I'm not sure, because the item in question had been lost or removed before the point of sale (Con number 2). They told me there is nothing they can do and we are now looking at an £80 charge to replace the wheel nut. The suggestion over the phone seemed to be that we had lost the wheel nut or put short: the customer is a liar. I'm sure there are many satisfied customers out there that Available Car would refer us to, however, many might soon realise as we did, that not all is as it seems. I await the responses that tell me it is our own fault for not checking the wheel nut and the car thoroughly etc. Maybe we were foolish for putting trust in what is meant to be a reputable firm. All I can say is they have lost any future business from us, I'm sure they won't much care as it won't dent their wallets, but simply admitting their mistake and replacing the item would have cost them less as we will now be cancelling our extended warranty. A week after my partner bought her car I bought mine online from Cinch. I can honestly say I'm so glad I did. Everything that should come with a car was there, along with a few added extras from a grateful seller. If you've made it this far.. my advice shop around.

Had car 3 hours all error lights dashboard It's in Cannock available cars no courtesy cars...NO CAR NO MONEY HAD TO WALK HOME..... VERY DISAPPOINTED BEWARE...

Steer clear of this place and also a Mercedes A180 - SE17 EVP they've just had the car back off us after a 3 month fight in regards to the quality of the bodywork, different shades of silver the passenger front, headlight out of line, automatic parking system faulty and dangerous, no dab and a lengthy 3 month wait for the satnav so card, we've lost nearly £500 on this car and still haven't had our 4k back we paid towards it, avoid them at all costs, once they have your money and a signed finance agreement they don't want to know, the car went back on 2 occasions and was never sorted, we thank the finance company for stepping in and helping us in regards to it, however available car wouldn't get back to neither us or the finance company, I'm sorry available car but I've used you on 3 occasions now, first 2 occasions were fine however this occasion has put us off for life and you've left us no choice but to leave you bad feedback as this is what you deserve, I will also stop recommending you to other customers as I have been for the last 2 years after buying my first car from you. We will also be taking this to trading standards and the financial ombudsman in regards to getting our tax, insurance, service and window tinting costs back. Further to the above information, available car have performed numerous credit checks with different finance companies to get us another car, they said they would tell the finance company we was bringing the Mercedes back at no fault of our own (which they didn't) which in effect led the finance companies to think we were after an additional car which as you can imagine left my partner to be declined and left a huge footprint on her prior perfect credit file. This was offered to us on one of the first of many visits back to them after purchasing the car and noticing the problems. They didn't want the finance company thinking bad of them by thinking we were dropping a faulty car back to them.

Buying a new car isn't one of the cheapest things in life - it's next highest expense after buying a house and just ahead of a new kitchen in the expense list. After spending a long time choosing what car we wanted and then finding the right one to fit the bill we ended up at the Available Car showroom in Leeds and bought a car at the start of August. Over 4 months have passed since we bought our car and Available Car have failed on all fronts - every time a fault occurred and was returned for rectifying, we had new issues ALL CAUSED BY AVAILABLE CAR! We have has: Damaged engine tray - AC did not refit correctly Damaged bumper by screwing broken tray to it - done by AC workshop Damaged paintwork - from AC workshop Scratched window - incorrect refitting by AC Dent and pain damage - from AC workshop They have had the car for around 8 weeks of the time we have owned our car. They have agreed that this is all their doing, but hold firm in that as a family business they do not offer any compensation. Available Car agreed that they would swap the car - although are only offering the invoice value of the vehicle, which is a whole £4000 less than the equivalent car they are selling TODAY. What they want to do is to profit from their mistake and leave us out of pocket "trading in n" our car that we have never had a chance to drive because of their mistakes! I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy - they are borderline criminal in their activities. If we can't get agreement on this this week we will be seeking legal advice. The worst! 0 / 5 STARS!!

purchased a 2019 fabia sel from them brilliant car p/ex they offered was terrible so sold private informed at handover all documents were in the wallet lots of paperwork to go through and sign so a bit lost in the maze got home settled down went through all the paperwork including available cars first service report looked for the service book to see if it had been stamped as still under skoda warranty NO SERVICE BOOK which would need in the event of a warranty claim umpteen phone calls no joy and no one has called back to say why no service book NICE CAR BIG DISAPPOINTMENT WITH AFTER SALES

Went to test drive a car and finance was arranged a few days later along with a reference number to tax it, then I hear nothing for over a week until 3 days before I’m due to collect they email me to sign the finance agreement. 20 minutes before collect after over an hours drive to get there they contact me to say finance hasn’t paid out we need more inf, info sent then everything is ok well so I’m told!!! To finally get there be given the keys to then be told I’m still not having it. I’ve never been so humiliated and frustrated buying a car in my life, £200 out of pocket taxing and insuring my so called new car messing about putting number plates on retention for nothing just a complete waste of time and money !!! Not one person has bothered to contact me since that day even after putting in a complaint. Avoid!!

Spent £7k on a used VW. Initial sales process is fine but after sales is terrible. Car has been back 3 times for repairs that were obvious if they check their cars as they claim. Car still makes a clanking sound when you depress the clutch but they claim this is normal and refuse to fix! Save yourself money and hassle - go somewhere else!!!
