I purchased a mercedes c63 from this dealership a few weeks ago. Was very apprehensive given all the previous reviews but the service was OK. However please be warned, they only care about sales and will tell you whatever they think you want to hear to get one. In my particular case I was told there was only 1 previous owner with the car I was purchasing, I've just received the registration document from the DVLA and it's had 5 previous owners. They also advertised the call I traded in as having 1 previous owner when I made it very clear to them I was the second owner. So if you're going to buy a car from them make sure you check this detail and get it in writing from them before purchasing. Do not trust what they tell you.
Unfortunately when I bought my car from ASM 12 months ago there were no reviews! I was old a car that had received a forged engine build less than 6 months before I bought it along with a new upgraded turbo... Less than 4000 miles later the crankshaft breaks. Something I was informed had been changed, this should not have happened! Upon inspection by a specialist the car had several "upgrades" the missing including a £2000 turbo!! As I am not a mechanic I took their word for it and I was provided a list of modifications. Having written to the company I receive a letter back saying this was just a quote not a true reflection of the parts installed, if so I should not have been sold under the pretence that the list was accurate! I am now in the proceedings of taking ASM to court as I am now £10000 out of pocket plus the repair costs and interest on the loan I took out to pay for the car. AVOID ASM CARS LIKE THE PLAGUE!! I seriously feel for the unfortunate people buying "high end" Scrap from them!
I bought a Nissan GT-R and than 911 turbo after 4 months from ASM. The service was absolutely top class. Staff know their cars ad their stock is carefully selected and well prepped. Would def recommend them guys. I change my car often and I m def going back.
ASM Cars are an absolute joke. Bought a Porsche off them, told by ASM Cars that it was immaculate etc. So after studying the advert and looking at the photos of the car we arranged a viewing and drove over an hour to go see the car. Got there to find that certain things that were in the description of the car weren't actually on the car ( heated seats)..ended up buying the car anyway as I didn't want it to be a wasted journey. Thought everything was fine, got my new pride and joy home, after doing around 250 miles in it, noticed it had an oil leak!! Even after being told by the dealership that it wouldn't want anything apart from tyres and brakes etc for around 40,000 miles! I immediately rang the dealership and explained to them and they agreed to fix the problem free of charge due to me only having the car for such a short time. I explained to them that after the car was fixed I wouldn't want it back and that id prefer to just sell it back to them as the whole oil leak situation had put me off the car completely. They agreed to buy the car back and that they would settle the figure on the finance, pay me the difference and return me the car that I orginally PX'd.have them cover the outstanding finance and then pay me the difference to what they owed me. Up to this point, apart from the oil leak on the car, everything hasn't been too bad I thought. Except today, when a payment of nearly £340 was taken from my bank account by the finance company! When I rang ASM Cars to explain to them what had happened, I didn't even get an apology! All I got was " the guy who deals with the finances isn't in today". So I rang the finance company myself, explained to them that I no longer had the car and had returned it do the dealership nearly 6 WEEKS AGO and was told by ASM Cars that they would settle the finance and that I even had a written receipt from ASM Cars explaining this. She then went on to explain to me that the reason the money was taken from my account was because that the finance settlement figure STILL HADN'T BEEN PAYED BY ASM CARS! After finding this out, I then rang ASM Cars to explain the situation, but all I got was the same excuse "the guy who deals with the finances isn't in today, I'll have to get him to call you tomorrow". So in the 6 week period that I haven't had the car, ASM Cars have had the car on their website for sale, clearly stating that it is "Experian Auto Check Clear", which is impossible as it has outstanding finance. Selling a car with outstanding finance...Illegal. Avoid ASM cars at all costs, no matter how good the deal may seem. You will have no end of troubles! Wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy!
ASM Cars?.. What an absolute joke. I had travelled a total of 7 journeys covering near on 200 miles round trip each time, so as you can imagine a fair bit of fuel. The reason for the trip initially. We had seen an bmw 325d 2008. Looked lovely in pictures (as to be expected) when looking at the actual vehicle noticed blemishes. Nothing major but would need sorting. Test drive great! Then, the finance. The communication between ASM and the finance company was so poor it was laughable. Not to mention, the lies from the salesman (AZAIR) he's a joke aswell. Claiming things had been said and done. When actually, after speaking to the head of finance 8 DAYS!!! After initally saying yes to the car deal. It turned out everything ASM wanted was wrong according to the finance company. So after 8 days with no vehicle and being messed around by these cowboys. I have decided to terminate my deal. And I will NEVER recommend nor quote ASM Cars, Bletchley to anyone I know. Joke!
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! I have never wrote a review in my life but I have also never met a worse salesman in my life! I had travelled over an hour to go and view the car and agree a deal but it was just like he didn't want me to buy it! Barely said anything and had to go and ask someone whenever I had a question, leaving me for 5 or 10 minutes at a time! Had no knowledge of car I was interested in and I would never have handed that man any of my money. Would never recommend this garage to anybody! AVOID!
THE SAME AS AL GEE although i didnt have a lucky escape !! would never recommend this company to anyone never ever stay well clear ! worst customer service EVER! so so so rude ! stupidly brought the car as was very pressured a month and later and the gear box goes and the dealer want nothing to do with it now they had my £12,000 . please everyone stay clear of this garage for your own good.
So i call the man who tells me if u like the car - leave a deposit it may sell....errr its friday pm mate and i am coming 50 miles from London on saturday morning? so i do not leave a deposit, despite him ensuring the car is 'immaculate'. Saturday morning i meet 2 of the rudest and poor attitude people u ever could lol. I had 10k in my pocket they seemed to think thy were doing me a favour. The car? Crash repair BMW 123d - so poorly repaired the bonnet was totally out of alignment, we flip the bonnet and the light internally falls out and we see ample evidence of a poor poor repair. When i mention 'immaculate?' He says its 6 years old what do u expect??? Honestly. Thank god i never gave over a deposit. Please do not trust these cowboys. They do not care and told us that lol 'whatever mate' ". It seems all their stock is sports cars where it can be easy to get a sale because of the blinkers people have on when looking at their favourite sports car! I had a lucky escape.
I bought a 911 C4S and found the whole experience outstanding. The service and communication were second to none. I found this a wonderful experience and Would highly recommend this organisation. Delivered above and beyond my expectation! What took me by surprise was that Upon collection of the car they even had a bunch of flowers for my wife Who was a part of my decision making! 5 Star service without a doubt!
Complete lack of communication here at this garage. You're not shown exactly what you're buying (paperwork wise) and nothing is confirmed with you before you sign. The guys have no customer service experience and showed complete lack of knowledge or organisation. The ad for the car did not say sold as spares/repairs/unroadworthy vehicle etc, but they gave me an 'unworthy vehicle sale receipt'. They said it'll need some work doing to it, but didn't state it was being sold as spares/repairs. In all, despite their failings to go through everything, I'm more annoyed at myself for jumping in at the deep end without reading everything carefully. All I can say to people is remember to stop, think, read and choose wisely before parting with your money.
