Very happy with car and sales man. Very disappointed in the valeting of the car whoever does this needs to go to spec savers. Had to clean round the doors, bonnet and boot. Very disappointed.
I bought a car which was 5 months old. I reported a rattling noise from the engine before I took the car. I was told it would be fully checked before delivery. The noise continued and I noticed an oil leak. Took the car back to be told it was unsafe to drive and needed a new engine, flywheel and clutch. Follow up from staff appalling. I've had to repeatedly contact them. Offer of one free service as compensation insulting. Worst experience ever with a car dealer.
This was my first experience of Ballyrobert Cars in bangor and it will be my last. The price offered for a trade in was significantly lower than another two main dealers that I went to (over £1200 in one case). It seems a little bizarre that the salesman comes with a print out from webuyanycar.com. Amateurish I thought. Highlighting the price with a highlighter does not make it any better. Also automatically adding in GAP insurance and GARD-X (or equivalent) isn't very upfront "Of course you can take these out if you wish " added Simon.Disappointing that when I decided not to buy the new car that there wasn't even so much as a handshake....just the bum's rush out the door ASAP. Very poor overall experience and would not recommend this company.

Bought a vehicle from Ballyrobert Vauxhall in Bangor for £23000, paid for gap and service plan, low miles and steering went after 4 months. Left without a car for almost 4 weeks now while they fight with insurers over it steering fixed under warranty only to discover more problems which will cost us 900 No offer of car after all this time. Soooo angry now
I have purposely left writing this review until today as had I written it yesterday I am not sure I would have been able to avoid using swear words!! We were after a particular type of car & had contacted Ballyrobert Bangor as they had two listed on their website. Joyce the Manager told my husband the cars were in transit but one was already sold. She then tried to talk my husband into leaving a non-refundable deposit of £500 to secure the one still available. We were reluctant to do so as the car was 2 years old and we really wanted to see the condition of the car with our own eyes before parting with our hard earned money. She then rang at 16:45 on Friday afternoon to say the car had arrived so we booked a test drive for 09:00 Saturday which is the time Joyce told us they opened. When we arrived at 09:00 sharp we were told by one of the salesmen the car we were due to test drive had just been sold a few minutes ago to a customer who had been found wandering round the car sales display when he arrived at work early. When we voiced our disgust at this very low level of customer service the salesman said he had to bring the poor customer in to the showroom early as he was freezing! Whilst I can't argue with bringing someone in from the cold surely he should have been advised that we had booked a test drive so he couldn't buy the car until we had either not turned up or didn't want it. To add insult to injury the car wasn't even in the forecourt so the customer hadn't just happened to spot it when we was wandering around. The salesman then tried to tell us we could test drive the second one but Joyce had already told my husband it was sold as someone had the foresight to put the £500 non- refundable deposit on it! At that stage we both felt disgusted at how we had been treated and wouldn't dream of buying a car from Ballyrobert. The salesman replied they sold 10 or 12 cars a day every day so it was quite clear by that comment that they really feel they can get away with treating customers like fools. Joyce wasn't in the showroom when we were there but called us later and left a voice message. At no time did she or any other member of staff apologise and in fact Joyce said in her message that she tried to tell my husband he needed to leave a deposit to secure the car. Yet, had the so called random customer who arrived early left a deposit to secure the car?? The answer is in my opinion a big fat no!!

As a mobility customer, i am very dissatisfied as to why Ballyrobert Bangor were prepared to leave me without a car, i will never go here again for a car, im very disappointed.
I would never deal with Ballyrobert Bangor again . Bought the car April 2016 only to discover that it has clutch problems . Took it back and they said it needed an erg valve . They said they've checked the clutch and all's fine but still it slips occasionally and im getting vibrations and humming noises from it . Ive only done 6k in 14 months . Once they sold me the car the sales guy didn't want to know me . Poor after sales . Avoid at all costs
Do not buy from here!!!! Worst decision I have made. I have had my car for 1 year and have had to buy to new engine coils from them, despite them saying they last 3 years. I took it too a separate mechanic who informed me that the engine coil was three years old, even though they put a "new" one in!
Avoid this dealer at all costs! They will bend over backwards to sell you a car but when things go wrong you will suffer as they will use excuse after excuse to avoid sorting the problems. Guys on front desks are fine but upper management are del boy type characters! Buy from here at your peril!!!
I've got no complaints what so ever, the customer service from the sales team at Ballyrobert was very good, they did everything I asked of them and they even came down slightly on the sticker price, I'm a very happy customer on this occasion.
