Last summer I purchased a Nissan Xtrail from Glenn at BayTree Car Sales. To say I have been delighted with the car and the after sales service I have received would be an understatement. Glenn has gone above and beyond to help and support over one or two teething problems the car has had. I have never had to feel out of pocket financially during my time with my car. I cannot praise the whole experience enough and would certainly buy there again should I need to change, and I will encourage family members to check their stock if and when they are looking for a car.

I purchased my 2011 Freelander from this dealership about 7 months ago, and I genuinely couldn't be happier with my experience! I dealt with both Glenn and Spencer, who were professional, helpful, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. Initially, I was a bit hesitant due to a few negative reviews I'd seen, but after going through the process myself, I believe those might have come from people with different expectations from an older car. My experience has been nothing short of 5 stars! The Freelander has been reliable and drives great, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help me with the purchase. Highly recommend!!!!

Now, I get rhat we might have diffeing views but to resort to private texting PRIVATE TEXTING me and saying I'm a TOSSER frankly epitomises this chaps values and ethics. After spending more than 3 days back and forth with walk around videos proof of history and very indepth conversations of this car mogal you claim to be haggling me to death on prices over this and that i feel that as a car sourcer, middle man as you call your self. with all your years in the trade. instead of trying to offer me £1500 less than i have it advertised for you should probly use your time and resources to find cars at trade prices for your customers all 2 of them instead of filling my day up asking 100 questions and basically insulting me as a car retailer . you would be more suited to a we buy any car depo you find at supermarkets as your persona of a car middle man clearly states you have no funds to purchase these cars for customers nor do you have decent skills to find them car sold 2 days after are conversation for full asking price must of hurt your ego knowing that you couldnt under cut me to pocket the profit for your self as my parents use to say every family has 1 and you clearly are that 1

Troy remember you was a trader not a customer. asking for a deal on a car had me run around all week doing various bits Videos/papperwork/prepping so you could show your customer. Arguing over 50 quid . Then it sold 3 days later for full asking price . after you wanted the car for your client But wasn't happy to agree a price So yes you earned that title 👏
We brought a Discovery from Glen. There was a small problem with the power steering which on the Gov website was classed as a recall for that year. Our local Landrover Dealership in Cambridge were nothing short of awful, no help and quite frankly I would never recommend them to anyone. However, Glen as a local independent dealer, helped us, he repaired the car, offered a loan car as the parts were sent incorrectly from Landrover making it a bit longer than thought and cleaned the car before it was collected back, I cannot recommend Baytree enough, both for the experience we had when buying the car and outstanding after care service. Glen didn't leave us high and dry, honoured the warranty when it was a recall and Kept in touch. Wouldn't hesitate to buy our next car from him.
I contacted Mr Glenn Manuel about purchasing a Nissan Navara in June this year he seemed very friendly as most salesmen are,as soon as I arrived he said that 20 minutes ago he had a phone call from another person who would definitely buy the vehicle if I didn’t.This started alarm bells. I test drove the vehicle and it drove ok and I noticed a couple of scratches that we agreed would be done for a cost of £200,this I agreed to, Glenn then said that he had another Nissan with less miles but was with VAT and more expensive,I took the vehicle for a test drive and it drove as expected,but it was too expensive with the VAT, I asked Glenn if he would be interested in a part ex as I had a Porsche 996 he replied ,yes so without him even seeing the Porsche we agreed £8000 part ex against the Nissan that was up for £19,184 inc VAT,this was Sunday 9 June 24,I paid him £500 deposit on my debit card,Glenn waived the £84,leaving a balance of £10500 to be paid on the 15 June 24 £8500 by Bank Transfer and £2000 in cash.He agreed to give the vehicle a full service and AC re gas prior to my picking it up…While we were doing the paperwork in his office he made a point of telling me that the other person had arrived and test driven the first vehicle,that was a bit on the quick sideI thought,I was leaving his premises I noticed a family looking at it they had the bonnet up,anyway I left and went home a 120 mile drive. When I arrived home I phoned Glenn and asked him if the person had purchased the Nissan to which he replied yes,now that’s a bit strange in itself as 3 weeks later the same vehicle is still for sale on his website ?? On Saturday 15 June I went to pick up the Navara,he test drove the Porsche and made comment that it was exactly as I had described it,I paid him the money and we did all the paperwork etc,there was no official handover of the vehicle I was not shown how anything operates,he did not know how to open the ad blue flap… Glenn then mentioned a RAC extended warranty at £1514,I said that is a lot of money and he said that it’s the RAC who dictate the cost of the cover,he then said that he would give a £400 discount making the extended 2 year cover £1100,I agreed to this paid him and left for home. The following day I spoke to a friend of mine who owns a Garage near me and I told him about the extended RAC Platinum cover that I had purchased from Glenn and he said that I was grossly over charged he could sell me the exact same Platinum cover for only £449 for two years and that it is not the RAC who dictates the price of the Policy it’s the Trader. I contacted Glenn requesting to cancel the Policy that he had sold me he replied that I might not be able to cancel it,I then advised him about the two week cooling off period,and I did eventually get a full refund from Glenn but not without a lot of phone calls. After this I checked the Nissan UK website for any factory recalls and I found that there was one outstanding for the AD Blue module,I contacted consumer direct about this and they said that I could reject the vehicle and return it to Glenn,I contacted Glenn and told him this and he refused to accept the return of the vehicle,I then checked the Ad blue tank and it was empty,the window wash tank was also very nearly empty,the in cab pollen filter has not been changed the Vehicle certainly did not have a FULL service prior to delivery. He complained because I contacted him on Wats App after 2100 hrs,the reason was that I was flying to Scotland so could not contact him earlier and despite he had on his website he can be contacted anytime,he never complained when I contacted him just after 0800 on a Sunday morning to arrange the vehicle viewing….I am extremely disappointed with the service that I have received from BayTree Car Sales,Glenn is ok until things go wrong he certainly doesn’t know much about peoples rights and I will be taking more legal advice tomorrow 1st July 25 to reject and return this vehicle for a full refund,I would not recommend Baytree Car Sales…. came to view a car and was suprised by the variety of stock held here . glenn was knowledable and happy to help how ever he could he explained there was a few service related jobs to do on the car we was interested in .ie engine light due to egr valve .and wheels wanted a refurb he explained that he does not do wheels untill sold as some customers want different choices ie diomond cut or gloss black he even explained once he had a customer who wanted candy yellow painted wheels which i thought was a nice touch as you can personlise the car to your taste , on collection day all relevent work had been complete and 2 months later im still over the moon with my purchase thanks baytree car sales
