I bought a used ford mondeo from B E Automotive I'm very happy with the purchase the saleswoman was very attentive to my specific needs I was allowed to test drive the car on my own which I found most trustworthy. The car came with a full 12 months mot and was serviced before I collected the car ran perfect when I picked it up 2 weeks later the car started to run badly I called the sales lady up and she booked me in so they could take a look at it. It was diagnosed as a faulty injector they arranged for it to be taken to a repairer the car was up and running the same day. I would like to say these guys tried their best to sort my car out which they did I've bought lots of cars in my time and we all know cars break down but these guys are fab highly recommended

Hi purchased a navara of them 13 days ago to find a cracked chassis which they say was not there on mot on 2nd of August there fore will not refund my money of £6500 they want to weld it together I don't know anybody who would spend that kind of money on a vehicle welded together I have no vehicle no money no way of earning money with no vehicle it is disgusting they can get away with this I hope people read this before getting any vehicles from them I would certainly advise against it

Your Navara was purchased under a business transaction as you are a builder we have asked you to return the vehicle to us so we can inspect the vehicle this you have refused the Nissan Navara does have a problem with chassis cracking this is well known it is also an alert for all mot testers which I can assure you was checked at the point of mot if you won't return the vehicle to us to inspect then we can't do anything about it there is a repair plate available for the Nissan Navara we have offered to either supply this for you or return the vehicle to us for us to weld into the chassis as you are already aware of this Nissan have admitted there is a defect with the Navara chassis in Australia 400000 Navara have been recalled in Ireland and England Nissan have agreed to either replace the chassis or offer a massive reduction against a new Navara so both ourselves and Nissan have offered to address this for you but you refuse both

BE Automotive ltd you wouldn't give me my money back you just wanted to repair it after 12 days you know I took it to Nissan on Monday as I told you they have on Monday an as off Monday I have spoken to people I deem relivent thanks for your reply though it's sounds like we never spoke on Monday or you forgot how the conversation went but thanks

As it was a business purchase it is not governed by the consumer rights act 2015 legally we do not have to do anything we have asked to inspect the vehicle you declined the reason for asking to inspect it as you well know the only way the chassis can crack is due to overloading but we would have been more than happy to have had it repaired with the strength plates you have declined this your words to my wife was I don't want it welding I'm letting Nissan sort it If the chassis was cracked during our ownership we would have had the strength plates fitted we have tried to help you but you have refused every resonable solution so there is nothing more to say or do

Update VOSA that is the dept of vehicle operator services agency they are I charge of the mot stations have inspected the vehicle at Nissan main dealer with the garage that conducted the mot when inspected the chassis has been repeatedly hit with a hammer to a state that the chassis is severely damaged and has indentations in the shape of a large hammer the crack in question is clearly fresh with no signs of long term corrosion in the edges it is in VOSA opinion that the owner being a builder has overloaded the vehicle on the tailgate causing the chassis to crack. VOSA have said that the mot station do not have any case to answer to as the damage is clearly very recent. Nissan main dealer have confirmed to us that the chassis came into them in that condition I have questioned the owner about the damage his reply was the invisible man did it

I bought a car from this pig and within days the car needed attention to the exhaust and tyres. As I was less than a week into my purchase I asked for a refund, which by law I am entitled to... this request was met with what I can only describe as aggressive, bullying and unreasonable behaviour. We had no choice but to leave with the car. ONE WEEK later the Head Gasket had gone. The owner is now refusing to deal with me at all... DO NOT buy a car from BRETT & EDWINA WOOD. I HAVE THE VIDEO PROOF ON FACEBOOK OF THIS DEALERS BEHAVIOUR!!!

Thanks for your review and the slanderous comments we have received on Facebook about us personally , when you came to collect the car you said you thought the exhaust was blowing I assured you it wasn't as I had personally checked it. Your sister called us on Saturday evening and arrangements were made for us to have a look on Tuesday but you returned on Monday claiming the car was dangerous and not fit for purpose and that the tyres on the rear were illegal I tried to explain to you that the legal requirement on tyres is 1.6 MM. yours were 2.5 MM and that the exhaust when I inspected it had a broken bracket I ordered you a new one immediately and I would have the tyres replaced for you to give you piece of mind but it took 5 hours of non stop arguing to the point yes I did get fed up with you and was rude to you simply because there is no reasoning with you it was impossible to talk to you without you talking over me and refusing to listen or be resonable eventually we managed to sort the issues out and get the tyres replaced for you then you proceeded to tell my wife that I had told you there was two keys I never told you this nor did I advertise it with two keys in fact I have never advertised a car with 2 keys but £250 later we paid for a second key to be done for you not because you was right because I was fed up of all the carrying on 3 weeks later you called to say the car had broken down by losing water we spoke to the garage it was at and they told us that the radiator had a hole in the bottom and the water had leaked but it did appear that the car had been possibly run out of water and in turn had damaged the head gasket it was agreed that the best course of action would be to sort out with the warranty company a head gasket claim which we would make sure was approved then I would pay for a second hand radiator but he would not do it unless it had a new timing belt which I agreed would have to be changed as when you collected the car you signed a hand over sheet advising you to have this changed as there was no record of it being done before this cost was to be met by yourself with the warranty company paying for the first £500 Had you spoke to us and not your sister and had you been resonable this whole mess could have been avoided im sorry your unhappy with your car michala but every car we sell is second hand nothing on them are new and they don't last for ever we can not foresee things breaking or stop working we have not deceived you nor have we ripped you off had you come to us and listened to reason and allowed us to help you things would have been different Under the consumer rights act you are entitled to a refund in the first 30 days if you can prove the fault was there at the point of purchase excluding wear and tear items if you want to discuss this further then come and see us yourself

Recently bought my second car from BE Automotive. Was so pleased with my first & the helpfulness of the owner, it was the only place to look for my new one. Once again completely happy. No hesitation in recommending to friends and family. Will return next time too

Family member went to buy a car from this place. Agreed to pick the car up a couple days later as they wanted to do the mot, checks n a clean. When we arrived the salesman (who when selling the car couldn't be any nicer) didn't seem to have time to talk to us. When we asked about the mot n checkt etc we were told "I said I would didn't I". We also asked about cleaning the car and was told "I didn't have time". No apology. We felt really rushed and our questions were answered with grunts or dismissive looks. This put us on edge so luckily we walked away from the car. Very odd...

I called today with an enquiry regarding a vehicle for sale. The gentleman answering the phone was extremely rude and abrupt. I WILL NOT be giving them my business. Awful!

I have just bought my car from BE automotive and could not be happier. I have decided to treat myself to a convertible, but it has to be a practical car as well as a cool car. I bought a Renault Megane CC from BE automotive, and I have not had an experience like this when buying a car! Obviously I have done my research and had a shortlist of vehicles to look at. Many were disappointing, and not really as good as the write-ups made out. I was hoping that the car advertised by BE Automotive was going to be as good as the write-up. I was not disappointed. They were perfectly willing to let my mechanic friend have a proper look at the car. When we asked if we could plug a diagnostic computer in to ensure all was as it should be, they immediately sent a mechanic out to plug in and show any faults. He was very helpful and explained everything about the car. As the old saying goes, "I used to be undecided, but now I am not sure", so they didn't mind agreeing to me bringing my parents down to look at the car as well. There was no pushy sales talk, they were very approachable and knowledgeable about the car. Needless to say, I immediately paid my deposit and arranged to pick the car up in a few days. There were a couple of marks and a slight dent in the car, and these were fixed before I collected it. I asked about the cam-belt history, as they were unable to confirm that it had been replaced, they offered to meet me half way and changed it for me at an incredibly reasonable price. Within 5 minutes of my buying the car, I had an email from the warranty company with my warranty certificate attached. Once I got home, it took me only two minutes to get my FREE AA membership sorted. When I was speaking to any member of staff, it was obvious that I was the most important person in the world to them, a sales process that felt a little old-fashioned; in the very best way! I asked where the local post office was, in order to go and tax my car, and was told that they would sort it out immediately. They went online and sorted my tax for me and ensured that everything was perfect. I am so happy with my purchase, that I have already suggested my parents go to have a look at an marvellous little VW. I would wholeheartedly recommend BE Automotive to anyone and cannot praise them enough for the quality of my car, the quality of service and the whole purchasing experience.

My mother in law bought found a car online, so we drove there to buy it, she was excited, we drove from Leeds to Barnsley, get there, see the car, and buy it, but we couldn't take it as the mot was not done, so we was asked to come back, it was ready 2 days later, so we go back, and had to wait an hour, so when it's ready she takes the car and follows me home, on the M1 the car breaks down in the middle lane, it was very scary for her, will call them, they come collect and take the car back, we drive home, and we get a call 3 days later or maybe more days, car is ready, we return to Barnsley after asking for delivery, they refused, we asked because we was sick of driving there, we arrive and the management wasn't there, only the mechanic guy, the car was on a trailer ?, had to wait longer till it was ready, any how an hour later the car is ready with a flat tyre, which they knew about, and still didn't sort, so they pumped it up and we drove away, we get home flat tyre and bold tyre, so had to put spare on, 3 days later she drives the car to a family visit and guess what it breaks down, leaving her stranded in the country side, we call they are not interested, so we get our own tow truck and took the car to B&E and they run out get that out of here ? We don't want it, it's not our problem, like fcuk, we want our money back they refused cheeky or what, the car was only £750, after arguments they said will give you £700, my mother in law was upset and just wanted to leave, so she took the £700 cheque, PLEASE FOR YOUR SAFETY, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE,

Car dealer was very polite, helpfully ad friendly prior to me purchasing the car and up until the sale....unfortunately when I called back to report issues 3 months after purchasing the car the male owner did not want to know, was very rude on the phone and refused to even consider looking at the car which a local garage have advised me is not road safe! It appears he thinks as I did not pay a lot of money for the car (£795 is a lot to me) that I should have expected to be paying out nearly £600 in repairs so soon after purchase. I was also then accused of lying about the condition of my car which I part exchanged (I was only given £100 for this car - I paid nearly £900 7 months prior to this) and advised his wife had a crash on leaving the garage as the brakes were severely worn....yes they were and she had the opportunity to test this when she got in my car and inspected it, I did also make it clear the car was out of mot! Never received the 6 months warranty I was meant to either! If you want excellent customer service whilst you are being sold a car then yes these people are great however if you also expect at least half decent aftercare then don't bother as it seems I am not the only person to be fobbed off after issues appear with the car!

Thank you for your review I find it very disappointing that you have failed to mention when you collected the car you was explained that on the mot test sheet there was advisories for the front and rear discs corroded but not seriously weakened and there was also a slight blow on the exhaust we did tell you that this was something that would require attention at some point in the next 12 months we have not hidden this from nor have we deceived you We was completely honest and open with you unlike yourself I appreciate the car you part exchanged was £100 but you could have a lest had the common courtesy to tell us the brakes didn't work someone could have been seriously injured I wonder if had my wife gone to test drive the car at what point would you have told her before she set off or when she run someone over

Bought a citroen xsara picasso 54 plate from B E AUTOMOTIVE l.t.d car is real joy to drive. I found them to be really lovely people to deal with and couldn't do enough to help and are 100% Genuine.If you need a used car don't go anywhere else you will not be disappointed.
