My experience of customer service and quality of car has been appalling, the majority of service and business which has been dealt with via WhatsApp messages which says a lot for their professionalism. After purchasing my new Audi with them on finance with Car Finance 247 the car was delivered to me with faults which included a faulty glow plug module, a faulty glow plug, front and rear discs and pads in need of replacement, stone chips galore and my "freshly refurbished rims" were covered in fallout, tar and one had a huge curb mark.. Not what you want when buying a new car!.. I contacted the dealership and was basically told - OK we'll take the car back, easier said than done, I had at this point already sold my old car and unwinding the deal and risking losing the finance was not an option, I needed the car I had purchased in working order, I was told the service reset light could be done at a back street garage or to look on YouTube, the curbed wheel would cost no more than £60 to have repaired. I was given £100.00 as a gesture of goodwill. It was then discovered this service light was actually an inspection light which means there was an issue with the car, nothing to do with oil service, well the issue was the faulty glow plug module and glow plug!.. So I brought the parts and fixed the car myself and forwarded the invoice for the parts to the dealer, who have since basically said they weren't made aware of any of the issues (they have been via my finance company) and aren't going to compensate me further for the considerable amount of money I've had to shell out on fixing it. You get nowhere with these guys if theres a problem, the customer service is honestly shocking. Just see some of the WhatsApp messages from them, it's laughable. They should not be allowed to trade in this way to people then refusing to accept responsibility other than offering to take the car back. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Bought a focus st from here in 2021 after exchanging a mk2 st. The car had part worn tyres put on after mot the tyres were warped and damaged. Rear discs and pads were scored and damaged had to replace them within 2 months from purchase from garage wheel had filler on it to cover up a dent. Centre caps on front of wheels were hot glued on and james new this because he was present when they fitted the poor quality death trap tyres put on . Battery was faulty as the day I purchased it the alarm kept going off and it ended up being the battery losing its charge. Wheel nuts were gunned on too much. James did replace these but they do not like being left negative reviews. They sold me a death trap this car has cost me over £2000 to put right which I shouldn't of done I have reported them to trading standards and the financial obudsman. Customers just stay away from them

So I brought a car in March, it broke down a week later, they did not set up the AA recovery like they were ment to. I got a diagnostics test from a garage of my choice, and it revealed how dangerous the car was. The car was held together by cable ties and the breaks weren’t even fitted properly and many many more things. I lived about 4 hours away from bedford so Bedford car centre took it back to fix this and gave me a courtesy car. The garage had my car for 45 days for “repairs” and hardly anything was repaired, as I had to book it in again and took it back to a garage of my choice where I lived, and they had to fix lots of things on the car. Then it broke down yet again another three times!! Bedford car centre constantly ignored me when I was asking them to fix my car as it was under warranty for 6 months and wanted to get the things fixed. I told them over 5 times that it was still broken I was constantly getting ignored. I was promised extended warranty but I have been ignored and palmed off many times. I have complained that the work that was carried out in bedford was not done properly as I am still experiencing problems. They reassured me over 5 times it was fine and they fixed that problem I said no they have not as it does not sound right still and sent them videos to prove this back in June, July and September. Then I took it to the garage of my choice and they said to me the work was not carried out apparently and it was still broken. I was ringing James and the garage daily and I getting ignored and told they would ring back and they never ever did. My warranty has run out by this time, 7 months later. They ignored me so they wouldn’t have to deal with any of the issues of this car whilst it was still under warranty! I have proof of messages of me complaining that things were still wrong for over 4 months, I have proof of James saying he would extend my warranty and not coming through with this promise. Now it has ran out of warranty my car has been in the garage for the things I was saying was broken 5 months ago and I have had to now pay for things that apparently they fixed in the 45 days of them having it in bedford garage. It took bedford car centre over 4 months to even send my V5 out. I had to keep constantly asking to get my log book. I also was asking over 20 times for the invoice over 5/6 months for the work that they did on my car in the 45 days they had it in March, but I did not receive the garage invoice for over 6 months!! I am a young girl and they have completely ripped me off and took advantage of Me. I have been sold a very very dangerous car and been taken for a ride. I have proof of all the times I was begging for them to reply and help me and get back to me as the car broke down so many times in the 6 months I have had it, they have constantly ignored me and ripped me off and ignored me untill my warranty has ran out. I was promised extended warranty as I asked to return this car and I wanted my money back but they refused. And now I have had to still fix things on the car that was ment to be fixed in March that were apparently fixed and they are putting it down to wear and tare. But the garage I have just taken it to where I live, said no they had to replace the things I was saying was broken to james, and he said they were not broken and had been fixed. But obviously they weren’t. I have had to pay for these repairs. They are rude and Malicious to people and should not be allowed to trade. It definitely was not AA approved like it said it was as all the issues I have had. I was sold a dodgy, dangerous car. The breaks weren’t even fitted onto the car properly. They are cowboys and should not be in business!!

Ben in response to AVOID!!! SCAMMERS!!!
I wish I had seen this review earlier ☹️ Unfortunately, I am in a very similar situation that you were in last year, however, after taking my car to a few different garages that my family and friends use, they have all rejected fixing the car due to the fact it's in such a dangerous state and have said that there is likely to be more issues arising throughout the process. We've also contacted the dealership, but they've actually stopped answering calls from our numbers. I test drove the car and all seemed okay, but it was a short test drive and the car seemed okay, however it's my first car and I was obviously quite naive. They saw me coming and took their opportunity to sell me an awful car. We had rang up and asked for a refund within 3p days of buying the car (as legally obliged under the consumer rights act 2015) but they declined and said they could pick the car up and fix it. But that didn't sit right with us at all. I'm unsure if you'll see this response of mine, but if you do, please could you let me know what your outcome was after all this time? Thanks! Ben

Hello Ben, sorry to hear you went through it Aswell! I just kept trying and trying they were ignoring me and I just had to accept it all. But I went to trading standards and I have also been in contact with ombudsman financial people, they have said to me they arnt getting a response either so it is going further up. So hopefully something will be done! As breaks don’t squeak 4 days after apparently doing them and it is not wear and tear! And rhwhh hun would not be broken that soon on wear and tear!

Hi very sorry to hear this I'm not the only one. I purchased a car from them in october 2021 and exchanged my lovely white focus st 3 with low milage. The car was only for sale 2 weeks then it sold. They sold ne a car with part worn warped tyres. Hub caps were hot glue on. A severe front buckled wheel a non fitment battery for the car and faulty rear brakes. I rang them several times and because the car passed an mot which I think was dodgy as they must know the test station I'm dreading the next mot. I have had the car rectified in certain areas. But never again. They are a joke. They are calling themselves elstow cars now. Joke

Hi,i just read your review. I'm so sorry for what you have been through, I hope things can improve in the future.
I advise you not to use them. Brake was seized after a 4/5days, no compensation for collecting the correct part from kettering for them after driving to bedford where they ordered the wrong part. Still haven’t sent off for my V5 document for some reason. Terrible
I chose Bedford car centre and came all the way from Lincolnshire to buy and trade in my old car. I came away very happy and in the car I wanted, There was no sales pressure and I was free to take my time. I think I`ll go back again when I`m ready for a driving change. What a great guy.

I wish to draw your attention to my experience of the Bedford Car Centre who advertise through your website. I have been sold a car with faults that weren't described and have not been rectified. I have received no resolution, the dealers have stopped communicating with me. I have been sold a faulty car for too high a price. In December 2020 I bought a car from Bedford Car Centre for £6790 and borrowed £4800. It was delivered to my house. There was no opportunity to test drive. I was promised car recovery package that I never received. I had to follow the dealership up to receive the warranty. On my first drive I identified a fault. That the windscreen wiper did not turn off. The Bedford car centre twice sent me the wrong second hand part and asked me to arrange installation. Twice I returned the part to the sender (via eBay). I also requested that Bedford Car Centre resolve this. Bedford Car centre did not contact me again. When I had the car serviced a range of faults were highlighted by the computer. My mechanic stated this was not acceptable give the cost of the car the fact it had been bought from a dealer. Following this advice I sent this information to Bedford Car Centre and asked for them to resolve the problem. I have not received a reply. I have been left with a car with faults that pre-existed my ownership that are expensive to fix. To date resolution has not been achieved.

Just purchased a car during lockdown. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CENTRE. James sold me a car with an electrical fault. He did not fix the issue and the warranty company is just as rubbish as this centre.

That’s madness, I bought a car from there at the exact same time. Now my car has completely stopped working. They refuse to accept responsibility. Useless mugs
