My Daughter purchased a Mini Cooper from Berkeley Cars a year ago. It ran fine until 3 weeks ago, It over heated due to a hole in radiator pipe and damaged the engine, Berkeley Cars changed the top half of the engine with a recon head. They gave my daughter a special price as she had bought the car from them (although the fault was nothing to do with them). Then the gear box had a problem and part of the emission systems on the car. They picked the car up, sorted the problems (again not their fault) and did not charge for labour, only for the parts. The car is 10 years old, Berkeley Cars treated my daughter like she had brought a brand new car from them. VERY, VERY impressed with service.
Stay away. Bought a BMW e90 from the dealership, found out 3 weeks later that the car is faulty with not working valvetronic unit and timing chain is slack, on top of that various oil leaks, that they emphasised are just from washing the car and not oil leaks, which was a lie. Dealership agreed to fix the car, but never did... I called them over 40 times to arrange the repairs, but always got excuses that the manager is on holidays, in hospital or just left, which lasted over 3 months. In the end they asked for warranty company to cover it, which they did for the quarter of the price, never received any money from the dealership, to cover the repairs that I have paid from my pocket (this is due to I needed the car badly for driving to Europe and could not wait any longer).

Having read the other 2 reviews, I think it's only fair to put another side of this company - to which I have no connection. Around 6 years ago we bought a low-mileage, top-spec Saab convertible from Berkeley Car Company at Moneyrow Green at a great price. It had only done 35,000 miles, but I was a bit wary as it was an automatic with electric hood, power seats, sat nav and lots of other toys that could potentially go wrong. It now has 105,000 on the clock and nothing has ever gone wrong. We don't normally keep cars this long, but I can't let it go. I'd definitely buy another car from them.
I purchased a Nissan Juke from from Berkeley Motor Company back in July. There was not a lot of input from the dealers but the car was clean and in good cosmetic condition. There has been some issues with the AC not working, I took it back to them and they re gassed it but the next day it stopped working again so I went back and it turned out the actual condenser had a whole in it so they sorted it but I think this should have been checked before they sold the car. I am also having issues with the display fading on the stereo which they are not willing to fix so I will have to pay out for a new stereo. I would not recommend this dealership based on the issues I have had and the after care.

The car I bought from here In June has has a ton of issues and it has cost me quite a lot of money to put right. I have gone elsewhere to have the work done as the dealership were quite hesitant to actually do anything and were asking for ridiculous amounts of money. I feel very disappointed and let down and I would not recommend this dealership.

Sale was easy with no problems. They extended warranty for me after me pushing. The sales guy didn't really seem too enthralled by his job. Car has been absolutely great, had it for a year now.
