i purchased a ford s max 2013 from beverley auto i had 3 months warranty i had 10 days left we got problems with the transmission when we phoned they said that they have gone into receivership i paid £5000 for this car nice looking olny 70 000 so now i have to see if i can get it fixed happy days
Picked up my astra on the Saturday morning firstly noticed petrol was UNDER the red and got told by them oh sorry we run out of petrol ( even though petrol garage across riad ) .Car cost me £6800 and wow did I regret buying it .Not more than 20 minutes down the riad it started smelling of burning , I pulled over ata relatives address where it was discovered a oil leak and no coolant in the car , and also a nail in the back tyre . I rang the owner who didn't want to talk about the issues nut advised me that " everyone drives around with nails in their tyres ! " , I took the car straight to a garage who told me it had a series oil leak and a bad issue with the coolant system and I was looking at around £400 +to repair but on speaking to the owner and reminding him of my months warranty I had been given and asking him if he was going to sort these issues out his reply was " well we will have to look at it and see first " NOT an answer I expect on a car that had been driven for less than a hour !! I took the car home after filling the coolant bottle up parked it up for the evening , but the next morning the coolant was empty and there was iol on my driveway ,I returned the car and got a refund but their attitude was so slap dash like its nothing to them and even laughed when I pointed out I had left almost £30 petrol in it , So if you are about to buy an astra from them please take a mechanic to check it all over before you but as it seems they are quite happy to let cars go off their forecourt unfit for the road !!
beverley autos from Beverley Autos in response to Terrible car sold to me
Jackie thanks for the review but they are only useful if the person tells the true story not just a list of events to meet there own ends. You took delivery of the car saturday morning by the time you got home you had picked up an enormous nail in the tyre, our mechanic had been over the car and mot tester they could not have both missed a nail in thee tyre, but we did not argue with you we instantly had a new tyre fitted at our expense. That afternoon you had an AA inspection done on the car, even though your son is a mechanic, you told us the the AA man told you what a nice car it is, your words, the pads were a bit low but not of concern there for no need to advise on MOT. The car may of had signs of an earlier oil leak as we had put a new rocker cover gasket on it the car leaks absolutely no oil leaks at all. We used the car for a week and have not put a drop of water in the cooling system. We took on board your concerns and without ant argument we fully refunded you money so you were given top customer service. The only thing we asked you to do was return the log book to us but you could not even do that. its a shame we can not leave a review advising other dealers not to deal with you.
Went too beverley auto Leigh on sea too view a ford fiesta as mine was on its last legs. Spoke too a polite young man called dean who made the process very easy. Was not pushy in any way but have me the keys too take a look and was not watching over me or being pushy unlike other dealerships I visited. All in all great car very fair price would highly recommend.
great service from a long established dealer this the 4 car i have purchase
I bought an automatic car from Graham at Beverley Autos in mid-January this year for £2350. It was an older car but they told me it had been looked after, only one previous owner and that I was getting a really good deal after a bad experience with my previous car. I was very happy when I first got the car and Graham reassured me that the noise the engine was making was just because it was an older car. I really wanted to believe that this time the car I was buying would not have any issues, so I didn’t question it too much. As I started to drive more I noticed a scraping noise coming from the front left wheel area when I was turning, which got much worse over the months of January and February. The car was due for a service so I waited until then to raise my concerns about the scraping noise. At the beginning of March when I had the car serviced, they informed me that the car had a fatal engine fault and that the noise the engine was making was an indicator of that, not just the noise of an older engine. We were advised from a trustworthy mechanic that it was not worth the money we would spend fixing the car. We then called Beverley Autos and they sent their own mechanic, who confirmed there was definitely a fault in the engine that would need to be fixed. Beverley Autos agreed to extend the warranty on the car until the end of the year but said they would not fix anything until the car actually broke down. As a 21 year old woman who sometimes works until 11pm, I did not feel safe or comfortable driving a car with an engine making strange noises, just waiting for it to completely break down so that Beverley Autos would finally step in and fix the car they sold to me with a fault. I was forced to scrap the car for £500 as I also didn’t feel comfortable pawning it off onto an unknowing person. Terrible customer service and a waste of money, not to mention the stress this caused for me and my family.

Very appalling customer service. Seems they had a chip on their shoulder. Check all cars history as they like to make up things as they go along.

I bought a car last week from Graham - he was super helpful from the start, not pushy at all and made the process so simple and easy for me. He helped me out with the paperwork and made the whole experience pleasurable.
As a first time buyer I was searching for a new car and this is when I found what I liked from Beverley Autos. I was really happy with how my first car buying experience went, customer service was really good and everyone was really friendly. They explained everything really clearly and guided me through the whole process. Would totally recommend.
