It’s happened with my husband as well. He bought the car straight from them, in 10/2018 £3,500, the motor gone in 9 months after. We have a mechanic friend who still trying to fixes the car, the motor wasn’t original in the car and ware missing parts in the car, the MOT they did was dodgy, as the car in the same day the wipers weren’t working and the front lights as well. We already spent £2,000 to fixing this car and don’t know how much more money it will take to be fixed. I don’t understand why this guy wasn’t arrested yet.Too many reviews the same, they ripped Off people and then still ripping off people. If all of us ripped people get together against them, may we could get our money back. elzamacdonald@outlook.com

As others have said on here the customer service at Blue Water used car supermarket was appalling and then the garage vanished. Im reliably informed the salesman called Phil that laughed about the issues I had with the car I purchased from him has now popped up again at a new garage as predicted by other reviewers. He is now working at Simply Motor Finance in Gillingham so avoid them unless you want to buy a duff car.
My husband bought a car from Blue Water Used Car Supermarket on impulse. He paid £7500 car and bought it in hire purchase. He paid for the road tax and 6 months later, he was told by DVLA that his car was not taxed and he owed 6 months tax. It appears that Blue water cars supermarket went and cancelled the road tax after my husband had made the payment to them, which meant that he paid for the same period twice! The car later started giving trouble and the engine of the car knocked. This left him with a total repair bill of £5000 ! I cannot believe that in this day and age, companies can get away with this nonsense!
I am extremely unhappy with Blue Water Used Car Supermarket. As many have said they have now closed down and left me with a five grand repair bill on a car that I purchased from them.
I put a deposit down on a car from Blue Water Used Car Supermarket and due to an operation on my shoulder was unable to drive a manual car. I asked for my deposit back 2 days later because I had explained to Alex the sales man of my problem while I put down the deposit and he advised me that it would not be an issue to refund, but it would hold the car that I wanted until I knew what was happening. They to this day have still not refunded my money although I have called continually and now they have gone. Nice company, NOT.
John from Blue Water Used Car Supermarket seems knowledgeable. He sold me a lovely looking convertible for a good price and even talked me into taking additional insurance in case of any problems after the 3 month warranty, especially for the roof mechanics as can be costly and ins would give me peace of mind. Today the roof got stuck half way. Called RAC insurance to be told not only is the roof not covered but that Bluewater cars no longer exist! £400 down the drain and now have to find and pay someone yo fix roof bet they will just open somewhere else and rip off more people .
Don't bother using them, promise the earth and fail to deliver the goods, after service so poor and car has had nothing but problems. DO NOT USE
Their premises have closed down and I have not been able to track them down. Many of the other stories here mirror my problems with this company. They will resurface somewhere else under a different guise and will continue to treat customers the way they have treated me.
I purchased my vehicle back in January, my first every car! I had a problem with the steering wheel functions whereby I am unable to use them to turn up and down the radio or change a song forwards or backwards when using my phone or a CD! I told them about the issue and they failed to help, only giving me an RAC number to call where they would "fix" the issue. This still hasn't been done! Then yesterday, my car started to make a humming noise when going into second gear (I am guessing it's 2nd as I drive an automatic) I have tried to call the garage and the number is out of service and nothing is showing up on their website! I am financing the vehicle, and so will be paying out for it wether it works or not! Does anyone know if they are even still trading?! Terrible customer service! I am outraged and extremely upset!

Where do i start. I test drove a astra vxr that was terrible the car hardly drove up the road it had a major fault /faults yet ten minutes before the test drive the sales man called Phil put the car through M.O.T and had not a single advisory (strange). As the car was so bad i refused to buy it and test drove another car which seemed brilliant. I noticed on the MOT sheets for the car that there had been a major oil leak that had been fixed, I bought the car and a month later the car was still leaking oil. When I rang Blue Water Used Car Supermarket they kept making arrangements to sort it out then at the last minute cancel the arrangements or let me drive up there then say theres no body in today that can do it. They have now used every excuse in the book ive lost 2 days at work and drove up there 3 times and i still have a oil leak. The last time i spoke to Phil he said we have closed down you will have to sort it out yourself. Phil is rude and pushy, I would never deal with these guys again.
