I left a deposit over the phone on a used car advertised by Bolton Motorpark after hearing nothing for a week I rang the salesman 3 times before he rang me back to tell me that they had sold the car to someone else disgraceful he even had the hard faced cheek to admit he’d been trying to find another car to replace it

Bought a car from these guys a few months back and at the time had asked them all the usual questions, number of previous owners, had the car ever been in an accident etc, etc. Was told the car was straight never been in an form of accident. When I arrived home with my new car I noticed some paperwork in the glove box, turned out to be correspondence between the previous owner and insurance company about crash repair. There was also literature from the company who fixed the car after it had been crashed. I immediately contacted Bolton Motorpark and they simply didn't want to know, I asked them could they contact the repair centre and get some details of the damage that was done. Came back to me a week later and said they repair centre could not discuss repairs because it was confidential. I contact the repair centre myself and they couldn't have been more obliging even sending me photo's of the damage before the repair. Tells me the clowns in Bolton Motorpark didn't even bother to call. They said they had no way of knowing the car had been previously crashed but my mechanic was able to spot it straight away, Bolton Motorpark said the car had a full going over by there "master technicians" and there was no signs of any crash damage....would avoid these guys...big time.
I purchased a pre-reg Mazda 6 tourer in mid May. The vehicle was attractively priced and I was offered a fair price for my trade in. The test drive went fine and I agreed to buy the car. I got the usual options to purchase gap insurance, breakdown cover and a service plan. All of which I resisted though I did get GardX protection included as part of the deal. I returned a week later and picked up the car with no delays in sorting out the paperwork. I was able to use the £100 voucher I had received by email for booking a test drive though it did take quite a bit of reminding them before it was credited to my account a fortnight later! The only real issue of concern is that I found after driving 300 miles in the car that the tyres had been inflated to 50 psi on the back and 45 psi on the front, when they should all have been 33psi. The first 100 miles I did was on the M60, M62 and A1M in the rain and I feel fortunate not to have had an incident with the tyres in that state of inflation. It make you wonder what else was missed in the preparation of the vehicle. I have not had any official explanation from Bolton Motor Parks on this. All in all I would have expected better from a professional motor trading organisation.

We recently purchased a used Fiat 500 from Motorparks Bolton which we collected a week later. On both visits the staff we dealt with were helpful, friendly and professional. The day we collected the car they were very busy but our handover was really pleasurable with the paperwork completed efficiently and the car in great shape. Would happily recommend to anyone.

I decided Mazda was for me again and contacted Bolton Motor Park. The Mazda I was interested was in Bolton. Quite a distance to go and test drive it. The test drive went well, there were a couple of things wrong with the car and Martin the salesman assured me they would be sorted, and the car would have a full valet. My wife and I arrived on Thursday at 10.30 (the appointed time and day) to collect the car. Martin was Busy!!!! Eventually he became free. We were told the car was not ready and also it had been blocked in. Not a good start. An hour and a half later the car was brought round. It had not been valeted. We sat in the car and realised the sat navigation was not working. Another half an hour and a new sim card was found. The key to the wheel nuts was missing. The car was taken away and all the wheel nuts changed. Another half an hour had passed. Again we sat in the car and found the reversing sensors were not working although Martin had promised they would be when I collected the car. Eventually he said this was a service issue and for us to just go and he would be in touch. We shouldn't have left. We rang and rang but no-one got back to us. Eventually Martin rang to say he would collection to the car on Sunday. When we rang to check he was coming he said no because he had tickets for a concert. He did arrive the following day with a car for us to use. He gave me the key and left. It was an automatic. I had never driven one before. It also only had 2miles of fuel in the tank. I gave up speaking to Martin and spoke to Kylie in service who was helpful. I eventually spoke to Wayne the manager who had no idea this had gone on. He sorted my sensors and valeted the car and got a firm to deliver my new car. What should have been a pleasure turned into a nightmare. I would never buy a car from Bolton Motor Park again.
Absolutely superb service all round, Dean Hargreaves was fantastic and couldn't help us enough throughout. Very very happy!!
