I recently purchased a car from Bournemouth High Performance, expecting a high standard based on their name. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Shortly after taking the car home, I noticed significant bodywork issues, including paint peeling off. I have had to pay out of my pocket the repairs for this issue. Also had a coolant leak which has cost me over £800 to repair. These cars are not fully checked over or genuinely good cars. They have been brought or traded in with issues and sold to genuine buyers. When I raised my concerns with the dealership, I was met with a complete lack of support. Rather than addressing the issue or offering any form of resolution, they were dismissive and unhelpful. Given the price and supposed quality of the vehicle, I expected far better customer service and integrity in their sales process. If you’re considering buying from Bournemouth High Performance, I strongly advise you to proceed with caution. My experience has been disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable dealership.

Hello Leon. I would like anyone reading this review to please appreciate that we will not be blackmailed by anyone into paying for negative reviews to be removed. This review will stand because we quite rightly are not prepared to pay for any mistakes made outside of our care. This is a truly disgusting review and your way of trying to black mail us into paying for your misfortune. You have purchased a car several months ago, you have had the car jet washed at close range, you then have the nerve to write this review stating we are untrustworthy, unreliable and somehow to blame for your misfortune. “Shortly after taking the car home, I noticed significant bodywork issues” The small bodywork issue is a small patch that you have held a powerful jet wash too close to. The paint has not simply “peeled off” it has been blasted off. You have mentioned an issue regarding coolant leaking and very kindly posted photographs of a damaged radiator. You can see from the photographs the radiator has clearly been physically damaged. This is usually caused by stones as the radiator is situated near the wheel. This has happened months after your purchase. You have never even reported this issue to us! You have jumped straight onto your keyboard to try lump the blame straight onto us, leaving a slanderous and damaging review out of pure spite in an attempt to try and extort us for your own misfortune. Trying to insinuate it was damaged by us and hidden but has taken months to reveal itself is quite literally unbelievable. Had you reported the issue to us we would have, as we always do talked through the situation with you and told you how to make a claim on the warranty you are provided with as standard. Although the burden would still be with yourself as this has developed in your ownership we could of worked with you to find a better solution than you being seriously overcharged for a simple repair. £800 for this repair is not right. I can only imagine you have simply made this figure up to further mislead the reader. Your review is misleading and deceitful, typical of the modern-day keyboard warrior who has no concern for those whose jobs you put at risk and people’s lives you damage from the comfort of your computer. All in all its very clear that you are the type of person who jumps straight to leaving a negative review as your first action. The type of person who thinks its ok to write deceitful and misleading reviews to try and damage the reputation of good hard working people.
Stay clear of BHP. Faulty car sold. Bully boy tactics . Look at my google review with all the evidence. If you leave them a review they threaten you with legal action and take your LEGAL right to rejection away. Good luck boys, the law is the law and I refuse to let this go. Do not waste a single penny here , they are clueless and love to try to scare you.

1. To be clear from the outset, we have offered to have any issues fixed, we have offered a courtesy car, we have offered you a full refund. We do not wish to sell you another car however and this seems to have got your back up. There is nothing further we can possibly do for you. 2. You seem offended by us asking if the issue was defiantly smoke and not condensation. This is a sensible question to help diagnose the fault remotely as we cannot see over the phone. If its smoke, then it’s usually oil related. If its condensation, then its water related. There really is no need to be offended by such a question. I’m not sure why you feel the need to bring this up with negative connotation? Please note it is very hard to help someone remotely whilst you are shouting and demanding and not letting us speak. 3. I’m sure you are sensible enough to understand a pipe bursting in your ownership is not something we could ever foresee; however the vehicle was collected from you and a courtesy car was provided within 24 hours, even on a Sunday. 4. We can only apologise that the courtesy car you were offered immediately was not good enough, however please note a courtesy car is purely offered as courtesy. We are not obliged to offer this service. There is no need to apologise for your daughter being disabled as this has absolutely nothing to do with the situation and you are simply using this to try and make us look like bad people. 5. We are closed on a Sunday. The auto response is sent so that you are not left in the dark. This simply informs you of the situation immediately whilst we are closed. I am not sure why you are using this as a point of negativity? 6. We have not left you in any situation. We have offered a courtesy car, a repair or a refund. Nothing seems to be good enough. 7. If a V5 document reads 3 previous owners, that means there have been 3 previously and the current is the 4th. DVLA have always used this terminology on their paperwork. If you are not happy with this then we suggest you take it up with them instead of using it as slander against us. 8. Your credit file being in shambles has absolutely nothing to do with us whatsoever and we are blown away that you are voicing this in your review? We do not have anything to do with your personal credit file. 9. We do not want to sell you another vehicle, frankly because you are extremely unreasonable and difficult to deal with. One minute you are screaming at us on the phone, the next you are apologising and thanking us, then you leave a review like this. We have gone above and beyond, bending over backwards to help you and then you leave these slanderous reviews in as many places as you can out of spite. So you must understand we would rather not do any further business with you im afraid. 10. Nothing in the messages you have chosen to post (which is bizarre) are hostile. I’m sorry you have chosen to view them so negatively. Although there are elements of your review that make sense there are many more that are slanderous and untrue. Whether intentional or because you lack understanding of the situation we suggest you rethink some of the points mentioned as to avoid us taking legal action against you. We have bent over backwards at every turn to try and provide you with a solution by any means possible. All except selling you another vehicle which we are not willing to do im afraid.
I would highly recommend BHP. Bought a 5 year old Jaguar from them, and opted for the extended warranty (paid a few hundred quid to extend from 1-3 years).. There were a couple of issues as you might expect with a second-hand car, but these were resolved quickly and completely. Their 'after-sales' manager (Ben) is so helpful. He immediately booked the car in to sort it out, and even provided a loan car for the two days required). So different from my previous experience with car dealers. I have no hesitation in recommending them ... Great service. Thank you.
Brilliant service. From the time I first heard back to the time I had the car delivered was only a 4 day period and I had my viewing and test drive booked in for the very next day. The whole process was fast and easy and all questions were answered. The car is in mint condition too, very happy with it. I would highly recommend BHP.
Rang Brad about a car and needed a trade in price. He got back to me more or less straight away giving an honest review of the car I wanted to buy and a trade in price for my vehicle. After a brief negotiation we got to where we both wanted to be. On arrival Brad sorted all the paperwork and after a test drive the car was mine. Previously only dealt with a franchise as you do hear some horror stories, not in this case, very professional, didn’t promise anything he couldn’t deliver very pleased with the service and the purchase. I have bought a lot of cars over the years ... this was the first time i had ever purchased anything without standing in front of it... the car was in the spec wanted so I contacted BHP and spoke to Brad... from the start he was totally professional and honest... he provided me with a video highlighting any ware on the car... which was minimal he gave an honest assessment and was happy to answer my endless questions... the car was delivered to me and exceeded my expectations we are extremely pleased.. thanks Brad..

I was concerned about making such a big purchase solely online without even seeing the vehicle, But brad and BHP took away my fears. regular communication from start to finish. Delivery of my vehicle was just as smooth. Could not fault any part of the process or the quality of the vehicle, exactly as advertised.
