You say you pride yourselves in offering a family maintained approach, this couldn't be further from the truth. As a customer intending on spending thousands here, I left completely deflated, made to feel like I wasn't good enough to be there, treated awful then had the sales director lie, defend the actions of her poor salesmen being completely rude herself ! Inappropriate behaviour would not recommend this company at all.

We always pride ourselves on our customer service and customer approach and as you can see from our other reviews, this is the truth. You, in fact, told our salesman that your part exchange had full service history (and it didn't) when he checked it had only had 3 services. He also said to you that three door cars are not the most desirable (not to be disrespectful but because that is the truth). I am sorry that you left feeling that way, but as I said to you on the phone, I heard the whole conversation between you and our salesman, from what I heard was never rude to you and certainly didn't make you feel like you weren't good enough. You are also calling me a liar and I certainly wasn't rude to you. You were shouting down the phone at me from the minute I picked up the phone to you. I wouldn't call that appropriate behaviour.
Very impressed with the service, No pressure at all in buying a Car, They made is so easy and no hassle, I would go back again and would recommend,
I had a new Kuga for a few weeks and then one of the underneath trays came adrift and have to get the AA to fix it and then the next day while driving up the motorway it came adrift again and was dragging underneath the car and again AA was needed to repair it. The comment from the service manager that if you driving the car through water on the road it will keep coming adrift and therefore with the weather we have been having one should not drive the car! The car is not fit for purpose and have had no help from the garage apart apart from wasting over 3 hours today. This was the fifth car i had brought from them but after the service i have received i will not be buying another one from them or Ford.
Ask Brakes Motor Company why our £47,500.00 Wellhouse Ford Transit Campervan hasn't moved an inch in nearly two years on the advice of an expert, and why Brakes haven't resolved this!

I have bought two cars from Brakes Motor Company in sixteen years. Both cars were second hand but I was treated as if I had bought them new. Any problems were quickly fixed under warranty. If you want TROUBLE FREE MOTORING the only garage to use is Brakes Motor Company of Ilminster.
Couldn't have asked for more really when buying car from this car dealer in Ilminster. This is because every time I called them there was always somebody at the other end of the phone answering any of my questions. The whole car buying experience went smoothly, I couldn't be happier.

Brakes Motor Company is a really good dealership. Since buying my car a couple of months ago the car has been back a couple of times for minor reasons but the dealership have sorted it out no problem. I would happily recommend this car dealer to people who maybe reading this review and thinking of buying from here.
