My grand daughter bought her Polo from Bridgend a few months ago. Just recently the fuse for the windscreen skoosher blew so she had taken it back to them thinking it would be covered under the warranty and was told it wasn't. They went ahead and changed the fuse and charged her £42 for a two minute job. After spending thousands on a car from them they charge a 20yr old who knows nothing about cars that kind of money. We bought a car from Bridgend Kilwinning and the sale wep Mykell Bell was very helpful we liked the fact we were left to see all the cars before making our decision and then Mykell explained any questions we had we went back to the garage because the reversing sensor had been turn down and they fixed it straight away very happy with our wee car and the service thanks Mykell

I recently purchased my 2nd car from Bridgend Kilwinning. I found the sales process very efficient and friendly. I had a minor issue with the car which was quickly resolved by the service department. All in all a good experience, I would recommend.

Recently purchased my Qashqai from Peter at this garage, can't fault Peters service, not at all pushy & very helpful. Car great, no issue will probably return in a few years when its time for a change.

Bought a landrover from bridgend kilwinning branch and 2 year mot/service plan this year 3rd year took car for mot car failed was fine when I took it in it's only done 5k in a year. air bag light on wire had been unplugged ,low antifreeze light on, low power steering fluid light on car had been sabotaged by them rectified all faults myself (exmech)took it else where for mot car flew straight through test so read what you want into this review as I shall not be going back

Bridgend Group Killwinning sold a car with a slow puncture and supposedly serviced, service light comes on within a couple months. 5000miles in and car has now developed a misfire and heating doesn't work. When asked to fix it they tried to charge us as warranty doesn't cover the parts...warranty doesn't actually really cover anything to be honest once you read the small print. Complete lack of customer service and care. Service light coming on and slow puncture indicating to me they didn't actually service the car before selling it to us. From experience with them and other car sales companies I've used, they finish bottom of the list. Il never go back and won't be using them to fix this car.

Good customer service at Bridgend Group Kilwinning branch, but a lot of lemons in their stock that they will sell to any unsuspecting individual. Speaking from experience, bought a Volvo from them and I would say I have forked out an addition £2000 on top the vehicle that was probably half its selling price in worth. Fiailures: Cigarette lighter fuse blown Electric window problems Suspension Bushing failed Suspension spring sheared Rust spot on tailgate door. Rear shock absorber failed (both) Handbrake cable failed Wheel bearings failed Water seals are degraded leading to constant light bulb failures. Puncture, (on apparently a new set of tires under) Gear gaiter plastic ring broken These failures showed up after driving the car from 60kmi to 64kmi on the clock. You would expect repairs on a used car yes, but at 60kmi that's a list of repairs on a car with 90kmi on the clock arguably as Volvo's are usually mechanically sound. [UPDATE 10/09/2018] - CLUTCH FAILED!! (BEARING IN MIND YOU CAN'T CHANGE GEAR WHEN THIS HAPPENS) I'M JUST GLAD NOTHING SERIOUS LIKE A POWER STEERING FAILURE OR SOMETHING ELSE FAILED WHILST DRIVING AT SPEED ROUND A BEND!! I WOULD NOT LIKE TO HAVE BLOOD ON MY HAND AS A RESULT OF THESE SNAKES.

This is the second car we have bought from Bridgend. Would highly recommend bridgend. Service we received was excellent. Standard we received both cars in was very high considering they were used cars. Will return to Bridgend for any future cars we may purchase.
