DO NOT RENT FROM BRISTOL CAR & VAN HIRE. I made the mistake to rent a van over the weekend as it was cheaper than the other rental companies, it was the first time I rented with them, Upon checkin I found out the van was filthy with rubbish inside, the tank was only one line above empty, couple of warning lights on the dashboard, number plate lights not working, and a leak inside the van. Inspection of the vehicle was very rushed went through the big visible bits in a hurry and get you to sign the form so if you missed anything be sure they will charge without any discussion. If you do need to hire from here, make sure to go through every little stone chip and mark where they say "we wont bother with that" and get it on the hire form otherwise they will charge you for the existing "damage" when you get back without any discussion. Go elsewhere for piece of mind.
The owner of Bristol Car & Van Hire Phil was very good. I had a few issues with the Vauxhall I bought from them but they got them sorted fairly quickly. I would recommend this dealership.
