I bought a 18 month old car from Bristol Street Motors Derby Citroen online the sales rep doing a walkround of the car and sending me the video. I was happy with the presentation and bought the car with a PX for my car. When I went to pick the car up I rejected it as it had had a bump not shown on the video. The bonnet was damaged resulting in the headlight dropping 25mm and other dent the passenger side door. They said it would be repaired and delivered to me. They gave me a courtesy car while the repairs were being completed. At this time I asked for the service book the salesman said the service information is all on line there is no service book but its all up to date. On the delivery day I inspected the car and very little had changed so I once again complained. They refused to complete the repairs and eventually Citroen UK told them to complete the repairs which was done. I was continually checking the app but no service history was showing. With a visit to my local Citroen dealership I found there was no service history and the 3 year standard warranty had not been activated by the first dealership who sold the car. I asked to return the car but BSM refused to accept it back. I contacted DVLA and traced the first dealership who sold the car and the first owner which was a car hire company. The car hire company said the sell there cars at 25,000 miles using British car auctions as sold with no service history. No full service history can mean any manufacturers warranty could be invalid, when selling the car it will be devalued as its does not have a full service history and can lead to future engine problems. I eventually used a conciliation service who basically took the dealership side and said BSM had acted correctly. BSM never told me the car doesn't has a first service or that the warranty was not activated they kept this important information from me. Its a long story and a lot more involved but I want to pass on my terrible experience of BRISTOL STREET MOTORS DERBY CITROEN that left me out of pocket by thousands of pounds.

Sold me a used car that needed the heater fixing 2 new tyres needed new brake discs and pads amongst other problems been waiting for the part for the heater part since the beginning of January been calling them but never get a call back if your looking for a used car don't use these can't be trusted
I am disgusted with the service I have had from Citoren Derby. I never thought I would have been treated they way I was especially over a serious fault where a lead to my break servo was broken and then super glued back in place. (This was picked up on a service, the manager told me as he remembered the engineer telling him. In light of this if it's working leave it). I traveled 500 miles to wales like this in my Citoren c4 grand picaso 64plate with all my family, and the thought it could have failed at any time. Lucky for me it was at a junction where my car proceed over a junction, where I had to stand on the breaks to stop it. Called AA who guessed it could be the pipe and the terror on his face when he seen the bodge job scared him. Called the garage and AA was about to take it to them when he then noticed the inner tread on the tires were totally illegal. They cleared it about 2 weeks prior as all okay. took it to them to get sorted. I had a spare tire, and they supplied another as as GWG. I for one will never ever purchase a car from these again, and I hope for the love of God it never happens to anyone else. They did offere me service on my car as a GWG but declined as I have service plans in place and for obvious reasons i do not trust them touching my car. I did say I would be happy with £1000 i take it that was laughed at because they never called me back, after the new service manager said they would ask and get back to me. I did go through the motor ombudsman who saw they did see neglect but In light patted them on the back. And said that I refused compensation. I cannot be bothered with them or their excuses. But it scares me I could have lost my whole family means nothing but a sorry. Date mentioned below for date of experience is approximate. Date of experience: 11 March 2022
