Booked my car in for service via an online booking system. I dropped my car off with my 11 year old daughter. I had a piece of scrap paper with a bit of handwritten scribble, thrust across the desk at me and was told to sign it. I was not willing to sign the scrap of paper. Another member of the team stood up and aggressively stated "sign it or your car doesn't go to the service department" I do not expect that kind of aggressive behaviour ever and especially not in front of my daughter who was extremely upset by this. I would avoid this place like the plague as the guy next to me had an issue which is currently at the 6 month point with no resolution

Purchased a car in October 2020, due MOT the following year. Booked in for a service and MOT with them, however due to my job I cannot be without my car and I live 30 mins from Macclesfield and work 1 hour away. Therefore it was difficult to drop it off and wait due to the distance, however I was willing to pay the price for the courtesy car as I wanted a professional service. I got a call 30 minutes before coming to drop my car off saying my courtesy car was cancelled, no apology or no attempt at trying to re-arrange, the woman (whose name I know but will not publicise although she was extremely rude) was blunt and speaking to me like I was stupid, telling me my MOT was not actually due for another 3 weeks so basically who cares if it was cancelled? I said I have arranged for this date for a reason so therefore I am disappointed that it’s been cancelled half an hour before. I tried to rearrange but she was trying to persuade me to choose a time where I would have the courtesy car for 2 nights, which means I would’ve had to pay more. In the end, she was no help so I said look I’m sorry I understand it’s not your problem but I need my car and I refuse to believe you’re cancelling it half hour before I was travelling an hour to their dealership, and that there was not another courtesy car available? She was rude and blunt. So I said I will just cancel altogether, and go elsewhere due to the lack of professionalism and it being last minute. Of course, then she said it’s no problem to still come at my arranged time and she had miraculously found me another courtesy car. She made me feel awkward and uncomfortable to come to store dropping my car off as I knew she would be there, which she was. She has made me never want to come back, due to her rude tone and speaking to me like I’m stupid. She was no help and didn’t try to rearrange- being a 23 year old who knows nothing about cars, I was paying over the odds for a professional service which she definitely did not give me. Anyway, the next morning - the day my car was due to be serviced, MOT and valeted I received a call at 8.30am saying my car was ready to collect. I said how? It’s half 8 in the morning, i was paying nearly £200 just for a service! And it was completed, and MOTed and valeted by that time? Plus I was paying for everything else on top. I rung and asked how? She said it was completed the night I dropped my car off - which was fine no problem. But why did I pay for a courtesy car then? If I knew it would’ve been completed that night I wouldn’t of needed it. But of course, when I rung again it was the same blunt, rude woman. Overall, I will not be returning and do not advise anyone else to go to Bristol Street Motors as my friend has also turned up before and there was no courtesy car even available for her and they didn’t bother to ring. So again, due to this lady’s rudeness and unprofessionalism, I will not be returning.

Waited 6 weeks to get the car and when it was finally delivered we had a years warranty which they refused to fix anything under Absolutely joke! Going back on things agreed even though we have proof in writing You will do well to keep clear from these people I’m not usually one to leave a bad review but this has really upset me and effected me
Bought a brand new vauxhall mokka all electric, have to say that greg was a credit to Bristol Street Motors. He went above and beyond to explain about electric cars - from buying to charging up.what a fantastic patient man he was with me and the wife. We were with him hours and he has a fantastic personality that relaxed us both. He gained our trust and was so pleasant and kind we cannot thank him enough. We want to say thankyou and recommend them to go to. Also our car is amazing and drives like a dream! Thankyou

Everything about this dealership is useless, especially the after sales and service staff. Really shocked that such a big business like “Bristol Street” has such low standards.

Purchased a car on line,promised no problems with car sent video,car looked good ,told car would come with full mot," of course michael ,we are not some back street garage,our mechanics will fully check it over,no advisories on mot, Car delivered to me at a cost of £1 per mile,they taxed the day £30,so that was £205 ,I gave my old astra as Px. To cover that cost Recieved car ,guy took mine away, Went through paperwork, found mot had 2 advisories on it, ,,tyre near legal limit ,Bush,pin suspension , observe and replace if neccesary. I rang after a few calls told they would as a show of good will replace the tyre if I took it to one of their dealerships,not happy I stated I wanted all advisories dealt with,by the time ,all afternoon until early evening I waited for calls back.I drove the car for the first time the next day ,I found it pulled to the left, I rand them and told them I wanted my my money back. They got the car picked up .I got the money back but did not get the £205 back for my old car and tax they still have not replied to the complaint I have lodged with vertu their parent company

Back in January I bought a Vauxhall Corsa from Bristol Street Motors in Macclesfield. The car bad been cleaned and prepared to a very good standard and up to now I have had no issues with it at all. The dealers at Bristol Street were really helpful and friendly and made the whole process of the sale very easy and quick. I would happily recommend Bristol Street motors in Macclesfield to all of my friends and family. I was very impressed with the service I received from them and would buy from them again.
