Recently purchased a 2010 Range Rover Sport - so far very pleased with the car. I received what I considered was a fair price for my trade in and was overall pleased with the deal. I have to speak as I find - Brooklands Dorset Ltd was decent company to deal with.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION. I purchased a 2006 Range Rover Sport which had a whole host of issues. I was told by Brooklands to write to them, 2 recorded letters later and nothing. A year on and I am stuck with a car riddled with expensive issues. Ian talks about the pedigree of vehicles and value of their stock, however I recommend thoroughly assessing the car you are purchasing.

I bought a BMW 5 series from this garage. They described the car over the phone and I was drawn in by the usual patter about someone else coming to view the car and I needed to put a deposit down. Of course then after I inspected it was difficult to get the price down. The car turned up with a mileage discrepancy on HPI, that their check never found apparently! Also they said the light was on for the low tyre pressure but they had fixed it. Turned out they had lowered the pressure of both front tyres and reset the light. So in reality the alloys was cracked and warped. They were more dents on the car than they had described. Numerous issues with the car later that their warranty wouldn't pay for as they were all deemed wear and tear so basically the warranty was worthless- cracked alloy, cracked coolant pipe, broken bushes, below min level front discs and so on.
