I bought a vw golf from Brooklands just over a year ago. It's been a fantastic buy. The car was immaculatey presented when I bought it and the process of buying the car was trouble free. These people know how to source good cars. Would highly recommend taking a look at their stock rather than the big car supermarket type places.

Thank you lads. I bought my Audi tdi A week later I accidentally put in the wrong fuel ... Brooklands Motor Centre arranged to pick up the car sorted out the wrong fuel I put in. I had my car back the same day. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
Had a lovely experience buying my new BMW from these guys the sales team and the lads in the service centre couldn't have done anymore for me. Highly recommended from friends of ours, so glad we made the trip. Thanks to all the team. Great job ,
bought my new qashqai on finance from these guys and it was a quick and simple transaction. Came in the morning to get my finance sorted and they prepped the car the same day so i could take it away the same day. Was perfect for me

Very poor quality of service, made disrespectful remarks. The car i was interested in was affordable for myself but they weren't interested and were pushing for the bigger sale. WOULDN'T recommend to anyone
Terrence row in response to Very unprofessional sales
This company are rubbish do not listen to any reviews from them the good ones are mainly from staff who have put them on. Rude, arrogant and do not care about after sales.
Let's put a few things in prospective, if you was spending a lot of money on a car would you buy the car and then check afterwards if the car is road worthy or accident damaged or any finance owing, I'm guessing a lot of people would, I am one of them people that don't buy from dodgy places, I read reviews before buying anything check everything out first, main dealers yes you have more confidence in, and to be fair I am a repeat customer of the car people who in my books I rate highly, so my story is me and my partner have been looking for a black s max sport with average mileage for a long time, to my surprise brooklands had the car we wanted, part ex only offered £300 for Astra, you are always best selling your car private, I sold the Astra 5 days later for £1100, I did my own hpi on the car, all come back clear, I also had the AA do a 200+ point check on the car for extra piece of mind only minor problems where highlighted electric folding mirror on one side didn't work , odd scratch expired gel for tyres etc, so all in all car was a good one, yes I paid the extra but I've got 5 kids to get in this car daily, garage had nothing to hide, bad reviews give you a bad reputation, I am in retail and I know bad customer service can ruin your business, so I would have no problems in buying from the garage again, a lot of nice cars in stock, so far our car is lovely and had no problems.(touch wood)

Bought a car here in March 2018, which subsequently broke down in the middle lane of the motorway 40 minutes after I had collected it!! The car lost all power, leaving me doing 10-15 mph in the middle lane of a motorway. With lorries and cars slamming on to avoid going in the back of me. And undertaking me! My daily job puts me in dangerous and threatening positions. But I have genuinely never felt so scared as being sat on that motorway. Not able to get off as the cars undertaking me were going too fast for me to crawl over. And watching cars come right up behind me at speed on my rear view mirror!! To phone the garage and be told 'it's my issue now I've bought It' was an absolute joke!!! I was stuck on the motorway for 2 hours before they finally agreed to send someone out to have a look. Saying they were 'doing me a favour' as I should be the one to return the car to the garage!!!! I was absolutely fuming!!! I phoned to check where this mechanic was after another half an hour, to then be told that he's on his way with a part for the car as they think they know what's wrong with it!! So they could identify what was wrong with the car having not seen it, and only spoken to me who was only able to tell them it had no power. Ok so this to me sounds like there was a part wrong with the car that they flaming knew about before they let it leave the garage!!! I was absolutely livid, they had put me in such a dangerous position on the motorway for something they potentially knew about. I asked them to bring me back my car with all documents and keys to the motorway and I wanted a full refund. The mechanic (who was actually ok with us to be honest) brought my vehicle, documents but was only sent with one key!!!! So we had to make the 40 min journey back to Leeds to collect my remote locking key! Which I really do think was done on purpose due to the pettiness of the garage and how rude they were and reluctant to send someone out in the first place. I decided to go with this garage due to the good reviews and AA checks before it left the garage. No way did they honour the checks. And no way do they deserve the rating they have so far for customer service. As soon as your card goes in that payment machine they wash their hands of you before you've even left the yard. When I collected the car they were 'too busy and short staffed' to show me any buttons on the car or any features. Also to note!! Your part exchange value, don't count on it. When they have a look at your vehicle they will find something wrong with it, then nicely offer to go halves with you, meaning your value will decrease! Mine was to do with the steering column, which I had only just had repaired 6 weeks previous!!! However. You're stuck paying it. Because if not, and if you decide to pull out of the purchase of your new car, you lose your £200 deposit that you have paid because it's none refundable. So you're left having to go along with it and lose more money! Even though you know there is nothing wrong with your steering. I have got a full refund and my old car back now, minus £60 petrol which they have refused to refund me, which i put in the vehicle just minutes after buying it. Rudely saying I could come back up to Leeds (1hr 45min journey) with a can, and then I could pay someone to drain it out. An absolute joke!!! And I have the emails to prove it if they decide to comment back any attempt at justifying their actions. I would not recommend this garage to anyone! Ever! Ignore what ever they comment back trying to justify what happened on that day. As the above is the truth. And there is no twisting that!
