I contacted Brownroyd after a quick internet search for a new Mercedes for my Wife. She had a lovely C Class and she just wanted something newer, so was looking to upgrade. I was very cautious with having to buy online but its exactly as described and in pristine condition, its lovely. My Wife is very happy with it. Fanatstic customer service, very pleased with how everything was handled and carried out.

Blown away with the level of care and service provided by Brownroyd. I found a Mercedes C Class online and it ticked all the boxes for me. I contacted the dealer and they were fantastic over the phone, really filled me with confidence. I travelled from Newcastle to collect this car, which was a risk in itself considering I couldn't test drive or see the car first, I put alot of trust into the car and dealer.. The lads had it all figured out for when I arrived, car was ready - looking beautiful it was certainly worth the travel, it was pristine!! I did have a small minor issue with the car and I rang up to discuss, the guy was apologetic, and reassuring, he told me to book it in locally as its not convenient travelling back to Heywood, and they footed the invoice, it was a minor issue that was resolved within 2 days - mega impressed! I will come back again for sure, great work Brownroyd 👌

I have had many of cars in my time of driving and Ive owned some lovely prestige motors, including Porsches, Bentleys etc. I've just purchased a BMW 420 and it is honestly the best car I've ever had. Its not the most expensive car, but its best, I absolutely love it and everything about it. Im so pleased with the company I would recommend to everybody, Ive already sent 3/4 customers their way. Every single person I spoke to, either on the phone, email, upon collection, in the workshop, valeters, everybody was just so nice and couldn't do enough for me. This has to be the best buying experience I've had, no hard selling, no pressure and definitely the nicest showroom I've bought from. Its been a pleasure dealing with Brownroyd and I will 100% be back when I want an upgrade. The only (and biggest) issue this company has is; there is too many stunning cars to chose from, the range of stock is unbelievable I changed my mind 4 times before agreeing on the 420 🤣

I am chuffed to bits with the Range Sport I've recently purchased, given the restrictions in place and no test drives, the dealer did a fantastic job of describing the car and providing top class service along the way. Everybody I spoke to was helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I went to their showroom to collect the car and it looked amazing!! It was clean, shiny, absolutely immaculate, inside and out. I highly recommend Brownroyd Motors and I would not hesitate buying from here again in the future.

I called up about a car expecting to receive a video about it and never did. They came with excuses and confusion and then their colleague told me to ring to ask for the video most likely knowing full well that the car was sold already. I would stay away from Brownroyd i did read the reviews but the car looked so nice but trust me it’s not worth it listen to the other reviews on here. The employees are very inconsiderate and unhelpful.

Shocking post purchase service. Sold a car with faulty part, bought with extended warranty. Neither warranty or brownroyd will fix that. Pitty as besides that and the fact that car had previous accident and front bumper was replaced (I have not been told that on a date of sale) I am happy with a car. But now I have to fix the fault by myself. PLEASE AVOID as I will from now on.

Hi Yes i recall receiving your email, firstly asking for a video as well as asking if we do a delivery service. I explained the car had just come into stock and video would not be available until its been valeted & detailed. However once i explained we are not offering a delivery service you informed me in which case you were not interested in the vehicle. This was the only reason a video was not forwarded to you, for which i apologies. Once again please accept my apologies for the misunderstanding and if there is any thing else i can do to assist please do not hesitate to contact me.
This is one of the worst companies I have had the misfortune to come into contact with. We made an appointment to view the car due to Covid. We arrived on time and they grunted at us when we arrived. They unlocked the car and walked off back into the office, so had to keep going back to the office. We were passed to 3 different people. We were interested in the car and as we could not test drive we just asked them to start the engine, which sounded rough, when I challenged him on this he was just down right arrogant and rude, ignored me and spoke to my partner as if I did not have a voice or knew what I was talking about, which as a side point my uncle owns a garage and my summer holidays were spent driving cars so I did know what I was talking about!! In addition to this they had put their own body kit on and done a bad job on respraying, again trying to fob us off that this would put value on the car, when Merc dealership informed us that it devalued a car. Even when we then started talking about price, he told us that he could not sell it to us as someone else was coming to look at it, but this was never mentioned when we booked the appointment. We took our money and went and bought a better car from a Merc dealership. Rude, rude, rude and I am not convinced on the quality of the cars. BE VERY CAREFUL with them!!

Really sorry you feel you didn’t receive the customer service. We have over 30 years experience in the motor trade & our business model is based on repeat business by providing the highest level of customer service. I do recall you guys visiting to view the Mercedes C class just following lockdown. Due to safety & keeping with safe distancing we allow customers to view at there pleasure. After spending a while viewing the car you felt the engine was making excessive noise and decided against proceeding with the purchase. However you returned after a short while and offered considerably less than the advertised price which we declined. Once again please accept my apologies and if there is any thing else I can help with please do not hesitate to contact us.
On the phone these guys were helpful and friendly. Paid £250 deposit and drove 240 miles from London with the view to buy the car. Arrived at the show room and was told to wait as the car was still being prepared. Was not offered any refreshments or a place to sit. We just walked around looking at other cars. No one was bothered to come and make us feel welcome. Car arrived and was told to make the rest of the payment. We expressed that we would like to check the car and have a test drive. Was told no test drive were allowed at present. This was not explained over the phone initially. Than after checking the car found some oil residue on the rocker cover. When this was shown to the Sales person who had not even introduced himself or given his name. The sales person became very defensive and rude. He said take your refund and leave. We were absolutely shocked and had to ask ourselves did he really just say that. However the deposit was refunded and we left immediately. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid these incompetent,unprofessional and extremely rude people.

Hi Kamran Sorry you feel our customer service wasn’t up to your expectations. It was myself who took your call on a Sunday (closed) after you called several time’s. Due to social distancing I clearly explained to you we unable to do test drives, someone who works for the NHS should understand the reason why! I also explained car was priced to sell and is fixed. We even arranged to the wheels to be replaced with upgrade 19” alloys which you then changed your mind and said you wanted the original wheels. having replace the wheels again you insisted only a test drive and a reduction in price. Once again both things clearly explained to you over the phone prior to you leaving a deposit. Once again except my apologies and if your require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me .
Initially helpful, put a deposit on a car to reserve it only to be told less than 24 hours later that my car was no longer available to me as one of their directors wife’s was taking it. No offer of help, no option of another vehicle, just a dismissive sales person called Sarge who could not get off the phone quick enough. I asked to speak to the director but as yet no response. It sadly seems that customer care is not a priority
