VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, AFTER SEVERAL FAULTS AND COUNTLESS NON RETURNED CALLS I HAD TO GET TRADING STANDARDS INVOLVED, VERY POOR AFTER SALES, NEVER ENDING EXCUSES!
After reading a few reviews on here I thought I'd comment. I went round a couple of places to look at cars, and the usual sales man over "can I help you, lets go over to my desk and I'll tell you what car you should buy" but not here they left me to look gave me keys and came out when I wanted them to and sat and answered all my questions before I signed anything, Found it a bit strange at first but, went away happy I'd got the car ~I wanted with out the hard sell. I even mucked them about a bit when I went back a second time and seen what I thought was a better car, they put it through for me and I bought my car from them 2 years ago and had no problems with them, and I'm a moaning git , I took the car back twice to get a couple of things fixed no problems, I have had a few this done to the car with my own mechanic nothing really major, but that's what cars do folks cost you money, I have been in a few times since just for a wee look and had a wee natter with them all and all ways found them very pleasant. I was even tempted to change my car but, he put me of explaining I'd loose to much on the deal, I recommended them to a few people and none of them have had any problems, and if they have they have been fixed as soon as they can be fitted in, remember folks It's a business they are not just open, just encase you have a problem. to end this, I will be back and I will buy another car from them. Take the car for a spin get someone to check it out for you, like you should do with any big purchase. But I guess some people are never happy. If you don't want it don't buy it, no one forces you to a car show room..
Went to the Longstone showroom, as i had found a car on their website, however my mistake as got confused with their trading name, and should have went to a different showroom in the area, with the same name !!!!! anyway when i arrived had a look around and no one came to introduce themselves, strange and them seen a car that i was interested in and wanted more info, but when i entered the office no-one about, hung about for several minutes, then went back outside but still no-one appeared, so went on my way to another car sales, and purchased a car.........wont get sales ! if no one is prepared to make an appearance.
I purchased my Ford Focus ST from this dealership and can't see where all the bad reviews are coming from. First day I had the car I noticed the tyre valve was leaking air which was taken back in that day and fixed within 30 mins along with wheels being balanced. 2 weeks later I heard a whistling noise coming from my car after a drive to Paisley, my friend I informed me that it was the oil filter housing that had went ( a common fault on ST's) and around £350-£400 to get fixed and would have been impossible to find on car inspection. I called Broxburn and they took the car in the next day and repaired it with no fuss. The staff I dealt with Lee and Leeanne were VERY helpful and polite in assisting me and repairing my car under their warrenty. I would recommend this dealer and considering buying my wife a new car with them.
I wish I'd came on here before going anywhere near the place. I bought a car from them at the start of April only 4 hours later the engine malfunction light came on. I called the garage after speaking to consumer advice and told them I wanted to return the car for a refund. Deryk told me I would not get a refund but they would fix the problem. It was a simple fix he said. I very reluctantly agreed to this and took the car back for the simple repair that took them 2 weeks. I struggled to get deryk to return my calls or answer the phone. I eventually got the car back and it seemed ok until I noticed a strange noise so I took it to a local garage and had it put on a diagnostic machine and shown a list of fault codes 3 of them were the same as the 1st time so I consulted consumer advice and was advised I could use my final right to reject as they have not fixed the fault. I called the garage and informed them of this a I was informed by deryk that this would not be happening. I asked to speak to a superior and was told he was the top man. 1 min he says he owns the company the next it's not his company. Their customer service is unbelievable ignoring calls and emails telling blatant lies I could go on and on. I'm waiting on advice before making my next move. I would advise anyone looking at buying a car to give this place a miss.

I've called and emailed about the issue and my intentions. Deryk simply dissmisses me I don't feel confident that the car will get me from a to b and I'm waiting on advice from other parties before being in touch again. The same fault code keeps apearing and there is a horrible noise when the revs get up.
I purchased a car from this dealership after looking at several cars elsewhere. Broxburn motorzone were very helpful and friendly and I received great service from them. I would recommend them to family and friends. Thanks.
A got a Vauxhall astra at the beginning of this month the customer service was excellent the car was decent for its age and mileage 10 days later a beçame one of the unlucky few that the car broke down RAC towed it to an approved garage where it was for little under a week they couldn't find why it wasn't starting got it towed back to broxburn motorzone where it has been for another week the staff there and the finance company have been great making it less stressful thankfully the only reason a haven't gave them 5/5 is because I've been without a car for two weeks and probably longer making it issue for me getting to and from work but keep in mind even though a bad thing is happened here a can rest easy knowing that a won't need to pay for repairs and it's getting sorted
Long story short they sold me a car on finance for £2795. with finance, was around the 4k mark. 3 months later and 2 failed attempts for them to fix it. Constant ignored e-mails and complaints i had to get the finance company to come inspect it . They have deemed it unfit for purpose and are cancelling my contract as i can not see them paying the £3000 bill before tax. £3600 odd after tax. I still have had no contact with the garage as last time i contacted them was threatened with harrasment charge. The quote includes the pump which they sayed the fixed and the brakes they said they fixed. Also didnt service my car correctly before i got it no stamp in the book untill i complained. I hope these get shut down.

Ged As explained to you today in our telephone conversation your deposit becomes non refundable as soon as we incur expense in preparing the car you agreed to purchase. This was clearly explained to you as you stay a fair bit from our dealership. If you were not sure that you wanted the car and had called us to say so straight away and no expense was incurred by us then your deposit would have been returned to you. As you let us not only secure finance for you, transport the car from Edinburgh to Broxburn and also waste mechanics time starting to prepare the car for you this deposit is clearly non refundable in this instance. If you are not sure we are acting within the trading standards guidelines, feel free to contact them and let me know directly if they say otherwise. I am sorry you wasted both our times and wish you luck in securing the right car for yourself. Broxburn Motorzone

I had a similar issue I was assured by Lee that after I paid my deposit if I was not 100% satisfied with the car my deposit would be paid In full. When I said I wasn't happy I was then informed the deposit was non refundable an then felt pressured into buying a car that u wasn't happy with and is now causing me no end of problems. They lie through their teeth to get the sale and as soon as they have your cash they couldn't care less. They seem to think the consumers rights act does not apply to them. They are a shower of crooks.
A family member bought a car from these, this vehicle is not fit for purpose, issues with brakes, alternator and DPF, this has been recovered to Broxburn Motorzone twice and RAC been out on 3 other occasions. They do not listen to their customer complaints, Derek stands by listening to the calls but wont ever talk to you. Lee conveniently cant remember selling the car to you. and the girls in the office are very rude, Trading standards have been informed and the finance company are now dealing with this, we have returned the vehicle to Broxburn Motorzone and are now awaiting the finance to arrange an independent assessment of the vehicle to be done.
