Bought a car 2 moths ago which has had its problems now engine management light staying on contacted they’re workshop to be told can’t be seen until 12th January , I spent most of yesterday with customer service guy “Dan Morrey ) telling me he can’t advise me and too busy so it will have to be 12th jan 2023 it needs to go on diagnostic machine , I had someone do a diagnostic test yesterday which stated 5 faults found with error codes and forwarded it to him he then replied saying they don’t tell him anything and codes didn’t either , I found the codes on Google he still wouldn’t help he doesn’t recognise the findings it has to go on they’re diagnostic machine ? I’ve tried explaining I’m totally dependant on my car to get about I have no other vehicle my nearest shops are 3 miles away and I can’t walk through country lanes etc I have appts to go to etc there is no compromise with these people , within the first week of buying my used car the wing mirrors didn work along with other problems they don’t respond to calls messages etc they take your money and run ,give you all the spiel while taking your money then don’t deliver , if you want customer care and aftersales go somewhere else as you won’t find it here , never again

I went in looking for a specific car which they did not have in. However the staff were so helpful and we were still able to come out with a car within my budget. Ryan Bayliss was really patient and knowledgeable about the cars at MG.

We have had 4 Renaults over the last 30 years and our last Renault Megane cabriolet for over 9 years. We’ve never had issues with them. We looked around lots of garages in the midlands to find an automatic car that we would be happy with. Luckily we found the very car we wanted at Budgen Motors in Featherbed Lane Shrewsbury at a reasonable price. We are Very pleased with our purchase of a used Renault Kadjar. Many thanks to salesman Mike Weaver for all the help and assistance throughout the smooth purchase and transfer of the vehicle. We are looking forward to many happy years motoring about in it. Called in looking to change our car - saw the MG and were hooked. After digesting the details provided by Aaron, we returned next day to purchase. Aaron was helpful, knowledgeable and above all, amenable, making the whole experience as smooth as possible. Love the car - it's just the ticket, thankyou and hope the aftercare experience is as good.

Needed to change my car went back to budgen because thats where i bought my cactus from and i am so glad i did ella was fantastic nothing was too much bother from start to finish , she explained everything too me , she phoned me a few times to explain how everything was going , sat with on the day i collected it and went through everything in the car to tell how it worked and she rang today to make sure i was still happy with the car , brilliant service would recommend them to anyone

We bought a car from you and it was faulty from day one. The car started making a terrible noise after driving a few miles. There was no spare tyre or even a battery operated pump in it..Also the executive was very suggestive.

Don’t waste your time or money with budgen motors!! They accuse customers of lying, ignore any emails, calls and customers in person, lie about the cars milage on paperwork and will refuse to fix your car even though it’s under warranty. ETC. The list is endless. I wish i could give them 0 stars

New Peugeot 108 in you g driver lease deal some 13 months ago purchased so that my son can have a safe reliable car to go around d in and get him to and from work as reliable as he can, Ordered a red one, but told that it could not arrive as it was damaged in the car transporter en route!!! He was offered same car , but a metallic blue model with a couple of extras instead, which was in showroom. Because of time restraints, he accepted the vehicle. Asked for evidence of this, but no information forthcoming. The car is now in its 14th month, and has broken down 4 times, everytime with the same problem, when it refuses to start normally out during a journey, when he stops somewhere. Each time the RAC have diagnosed a flat battery, which is because if you put jump leads on, it starts. The car is under a three year lease deal with servicing included. It has been back to Budgens to be diagnosed in each occasion, and they say no fault found. Inconvenience for my son, but he has gone along with until it broke down early last week. Again my son was inconvenienced, and indeed the same RAC man came out to sort the problem, which again was a battery issue. I got involved and arranged for the vehicle to go back to Budgens last Friday, and was duly delivered by my son at 0945 as agreed. I had arranged for him with service reception that the car would not come back until a proper diagnosis had been carried out, and he would have a courtesy car until this time. Upon a phone call at 1645 on Friday, Crystal from Budgen Motors was on the phone, asking my son to bring the courtesy car back, but his car was not ready!! This would of inconvenienced my son again, and his mother took over the phone call, and was told that my sons car was not ready, it needed a battery, which my son has to pay for, and if he does not bring the other car back, then they will report the vehicle stolen to the police!! Customer service at its finest Budgen Motors, Shrewsbury, You really know how to look after your customers, and through your actions, Peugeot UK will now get involved. One very distressed customer now, and financially out of pocket, and you threaten to call the police.... You ouldnt get it right with the order, and you seem unwilling to sort your product out with its issues...... My other son needs a car as well now, and it definitely won't be from Budgen Motors in Shrewbury.
