Some people would say driving 160 miles from your home to view a car would be daft. But not if you’re driving to C&E Motors Middlesbrough! That’s exactly what I did, and it was well worth it. Having visited many main dealers, specialist dealers and car sales company’s, my hopes in purchasing the perfect new car were low. Until the competitively priced, pristine conditioned BMW’s of C&E motors caught my eye on their easy to use website! Having booked an appointment to view the car, salesman Ian worked to organise the finance agreement to suit my budget. This was done in a matter of minutes, which is impressive. Upon arrival at the garage, the friendliness of staff gives off an excellent feel to the place. One of the things that impressed me was that the salesmen did not goad me, nor follow me round trying to persuade me into purchasing a car from them - but were on hand to answer any questions I had. This was because the cars sell themselves. I was simply handed the keys to the BMW in question, and left to have a look at it in my own time. All of the vehicles for sale were immaculate and stood out. Having signed the agreements, which were clearly explained to me, I returned a couple of days later to collect the vehicle I had purchased. The safety check carried out puts your mind at ease, along with the included warranty. A professional valet had been carried out and the car was ready to go. I am now the proud owner of a fantastic BMW 4 series M sport coupe. I would highly recommend C&E motors - thank you!

Have purchased 3 cars from this dealership never had a problem and is a family run buisness who are lovley find some reviews very strange to say the least make your own mind up i.e. (competition)

Every dirty trick in the book and a few of their own was my experience. Sold a car with more faults on it than you could shake a stick at then made no attempt to fix any of them but used every dirty trick in the book to not do this. Took the car elsewhere in the end and had the repairs made at my own expense. It was actually far far worse than that. I couldn't imagine a worse car buying experience. Minus five stars would be my preferred voting option but it's not an option on here.

My shambolic experience with C&E Motors started in August. After driving the car home I discovered a variety of issues, including; engine juddering, volume dial not working, stop-start not working and the windscreen wash jets had been blocked up with lumps of blu-tac so the motors had burnt out (...why?). These few issues took 6 visits to the garage and 4 months to resolve (only some have been resolved - they now refuse to fix the engine issues and volume dial). During this time, the garage they were using cut ties (can’t image why), they removed my satnav/radio/Bluetooth unit to fix the volume dial, lost it, gave me a used unit from an older car as a replacement, sent me to a Nissan garage to unlock (where I was told it would cost - C&E wouldn’t pay and then they miraculously found my old unit, which is still faulty and they won’t fix). Now left with a faulty car and so far I’m £250 out of pocket due to repairs. Take your money and run.

C & E Motors were great to deal with, no pressure at all,all of staff pleasant nice bunch of people, went to view cars came away with very nice 3008, drives beautifully,

Terrible service start to finish. Paid 7k for a car that had a full MOT put on the day I purchased it. Less than 2 months later I noticed a noise when I took it to a local garage to inspect, they informed me 3 of the tyres were boarder line illegal, the breaks were metal on metal, very heavily coroded. C and E motors were not interested said it was my doing. (I’m a 40 year old woman I don’t drive like a boy racer) This would have definitely shown up in an mot even if it had only been advisories. When I took this through the bank to try and arrange a charge back C and E motors claimed they had asked me to bring the car in so they could look at it with a view to repair. Absolute lie, I had called several times trying to have this resolved but with no look. They said I’d visually inspected the car and test drove it, yes I drove it fine, my inspection was to check for scratch’s dents etc, I felt confident a full clear MOT would have covered the rest, didn’t think for a minute I’d need to check the tyres etc. I’m only sad I have to give them 1 star I’d sooner give them none.
