Bought a car from here a couple of months ago, the sales staff were very helpful and went above and beyond for customer service. The cars are amazing value, really pleased. Will be coming back soon to buy my daughters first car from you. Thanks Melanie.

I bought a car from CJS and was very pleased with it also the device and after care is fantastic I would definitely recommend this family run business, they are very trustworthy .
Bought Audi A1 1.4 as first car for my self, I am absolutely delighted with it. The Staff down at CJS helped with everything Including the easy finance options. I will certainly be using them again in the future, HIGHLY RECOMEND!!! Thank You
Stay away and save yourself a journey unless you want to deal with an arrogant member of staff like I did, who just didnt seem to care if he got a sale or not.

My honest advise is to keep away from CJS Cars Swinton or proceed with extreme caution. It is a sad indictment of CJS that they would prefer to ignore the law that is supposed to protect consumer rights than to either fix the fault or offer a full refund within the first 30 days of purchasing a car. The VW golf plus that I purchased (£3095) 28th December 2016 makes a noticeable noise whilst driving in first and second gear. Initial contact with Matthew 24 hrs after purchase was positive. He said the fault would be 'sorted' and nothing to worry about. I was advised to seek an opinion of an independent garage. The mechanic diagnosed a probable dual mass flywheel problem! There was evidence that the air conditioning unit had been repaired as there was some green residue under the bonnet. I phoned Matthew who suggested that I phone warranty 2000! I suggested to Matthew that he takes a call from the mechanic so that he has an accurate picture of the fault. This reasonable request was declined. I then received an abrupt telephone call from Robert who became increasingly irate when I suggested that I have the right to return the faulty car without any penalty within the first 30 day period. Robert was adamant that to return the car would incur an administration fee that presumably would exceed the cost of fixing the car! My offer to have the car independently checked by another local garage was abruptly refused. Robert said completely out of the blue that he will see me in the Small Claims Court in 12 months time and then hung up! As I type, the car that I bought from CJS is less than 7 days old. The Consumer Rights Act is supposed to protect the public from this type of behaviour. One of the difficulties I face is I travelled from Doncaster to Swinton nr Manchester to buy the car. I have no wish to waste time and money travelling back and forth to CJS Cars Swinton when all the indicators are that CJS Cars have no desire to operate within the law . It would not be too difficult for CJS to satisfactorily resolve the issue. The next steps is simply to formally write to CJS and allow time for them to respond. Given that they have already refused to have the car indepently assessed, it is unlikely that they will pay for the replacement dual mass flywheel as a gesture of goodwill. I will notify Trading Standards and the BBC Watchdog programme to see if my experience is an isolated incident? Similarly, I may contact Companies House as the Directors may be in breech of their legal responsibilities. I will then , lodge papers with the County Court in the hope that the law is on my side ? I intend to log all costs associated with the repair of the car. I guess I will be able to meet Robert after all in 12 months time. Through this brilliant website , I intend to keep you posted of any developments as I am mindful that it is still very early days , but it is unlikely that Robert will want to reimburse me in full or repair the fault that was evidently there when the car was sold to me. The information I have provided is to the best of my knowledge accurate and truthful. Tim
I made an offer on a car and was told "are you clearly on drugs or something" I made an intial offer of 1k less than the asking price, VERY un professional, not recommended
I bought a BMW 520 touring from this dealer, I was travelling quite a distance so asked for an honest appraisal of the car. The salesman went around the car and described each panel. I decided to take the chance and drive down to see the car, on a first impression it was as stated. The salesman (Matthew) was very helpful non-pushy. I negotiated a very good deal for the car, drove 2 hours home and was very happy with the dealership and the car. Not sure what sort of AA cover is part of the deal though, this was a little vague.
Really happy with the Punto I bought from this dealership in May. I have had no issues with it all its great and was a really good price. The people at the dealership were really helpful and friendly.

I enquired about a car for sale with CJS, that I saw on autotrader. Initially spoke to one gentleman. I explained that I was travelling from some distance and would appreciate his full honesty to the condition of the car. I was confidently told that the car was in excellent condition inside and out and that I would not be dissapointed if I travelled. I then called again the next morning to confirm that the car was still available and that I was setting off. Spoke to a different salesman, who I asked the same questions and again was re assured that the car was in fantastic condition. I specifically asked about any dents, scuffs, scratches and again was told, none at all. Based on this information, I thought it would be a genuine clean car, and set off with the view to buy the car. When I got there, 2 and a half hours later, I was totally shocked and amazed to see the state of the car, it had scuffs, dents and scratches in about 8 different places, and I don't mean small, well in excess of 60mm - 150mm, drivers seat was heavily stained/ marked, trim bit were broken and falling off and then when I started the engine, it sounded really rough and miss- firing. I could not believe, that not just ONE but BOTH salesman blatantly lied to me, wasted my time and fuel and then when I explained that the car was mi described and I was very dissapointed, the salesman rudely told me to park the car back into the parking space and return the key! I just wish people would be honest and have some consience!!
Traded my Renault clio 2013 for a Audi A1 was given a fair price by the place to exchange. Linford then helped me with all the paperwork, very helpful and pleasant towards me and my girlfriend. Very happy with the car overall and everything with it had no problems upto now, great purchase.
Went to purchase a Audi A1 took my part exchange of a Volkswagen Polo 12 Plate they gave me a nice and fair price for the polo. When I went to see the Audi I was greeted by a Pleasant man and woman who went through everything with the car and answered any questions they was very helpful.
