Bought a BMW for myself as a treat from CJ CAR Sales and it was in great condition. the customer service was excellent and would definitely recommend this place to my close friends and family.

Took my car to part exchange and couldn't get bonnet open they then tried to force it and have broken the handle and they will not replace it. When I phoned today I was given a load of abuse and told my car was a load of rubbish by the sales man called Matt, yet they were willing to take in part exchange.

After searching for a used RELIABLE vehicle for my daughter for over two months, I came across an advert which caught my eye. So upon phoning the advert as I have done so many times over the previous months to find the right car for teenage girl who "cant understand why I cant buy her a Audi TT like her mate at college". So I phoned the garage and was greeted by a salesman called Carl. So questions in the hand at ready. I thought to myself "here we go again to be brushed off by the usual car dealer language". But this did not happen AT CJS Car Sales, yes I had lots of questions and YES all of them sounded pointless to my daughter. But I felt for once I was really getting honest answers. So after talking to Carl at CJS Car Sales whom I later found out was the owner, I felt reassured that a trip over the border to Lancashire to view the car and hopefully purchase. When arriving to view the car with my daughter with CD in hand to test the CD player, while I looked at the engine bay. The car was presented to us as described and everything I asked was presented to me in the manor I expected. I was purchasing a used car so I expected the odd mark here and there and that I found. But as I was told about this previously I was happy. So the CD player worked and we ended up purchasing the car, after months of searching and hunting. From start to finish I felt comfortable in all areas of the purchase and would recommend CJS Car Sales and Carl's advice and honesty to anyone. So now im one happy dad that I don't have to leave the sofa at 9 pm to go pick up the daughter and her friends. Cheers Carl and thanks again for your honesty.

Avoid CJS Car Sales in Swinton at all costs. I will like to begin by sharing that I am 8 months pregnant and a type 1 diabetic. I drove 300 miles to Swindon to buy a Vauxhall Corsa from these people as I loved the pictures and so I bought the car. And got about 30 miles down the motorway and the car head gasket went causing the engine to blow up also. I called the garage and this man told me there was nothing he could do. So I sat stranded down a slip road for about 8 hours alone. I was a long way from home and had no money left. By night time I was getting worried. I got picked up eventually by a family member. And left the car at the side of the road. The AA cover was useless. That didn't cover getting me home. The warranty was useless as it only covered two hundred pounds, of which, out of that money I would of been expected to get a car diagnostics at a Vauxhall garage. So I wouldn't of got far with £200. I have spent over a month and a half ringing trading standards and CJS Car Sales and emailing them both and eventually got my money back. I'm one of the lucky ones I guess. I am still going too take this company to court as I have been put through untold amounts of stress over this. They didn't care about my safety and welfare and did absolutely nothing too help me. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR STAFF WHO DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT TROUBLE AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED.

Keep well clear. Car I bought has had head gasket fail less than month and half from sale. Had a mechanic look at it and said it was failing when they sold it. the warranty is load of rubbish and only covers up to £200. I phoned up and they won't help what so ever. Worst garage ever been too, stay well clear.
