As a disabled person I opted to pay the higher price for a Volvo select car. To give me peace of mind I was buying a quality well maintained car. Mike Goodwin and Colin Rendall sold me a V90, We have had numerous problems After many complaints the car broke down We were then informed by Volvo that the car was full of water and that it was not covered under warranty and asked for £3000+ to repair. After investigation we found that the car had missed a major service which meant it was not as advertised and does not meet the standards of the Volvo select warranty scheme. This is still an ongoing battle. But I can’t stress enough to check the details. They sold me a one owner car full service history, and it turned out to be a two owner car with a major service missing and had been suffering from water ingress for many years. My advice keep clear.

In June 2023 bought a new XC40 from Caffyns of Eastbourne and initially it was not a happy experience. However, thanks to the extraordinary help given by the dealer principal and the used car sales manager (names withheld), both of whom travelled to my local Caffyns in Worthing to assist in resolving the issue, I can say without reservation that I recommend Caffyns as an outstanding dealership.

Always found Caffyns (and Ridleys before them) provide an exceptional level of service both in sales and service. Not always perfect but who is? Problems always sorted out with a smile.

I am going for the fourth time to fix a faulty camera in a new car on warranty. Other Volvo certified garage discovered that someone trying to fix it previously did the damage for approximately £1000, which is not covered by warranty. I don't recommend them, especially the service. It seems they don't have the knowledge or they try to hide what they have done. I wouldn't employ anyone from this service.
