Bought a car end of January, clutch has failed. Told Cantilever, they said tough luck, buyer beware - car was 6 grand with 30k miles, so it's not like this is an old banger from a street corner. Avoid at all costs and go somewhere reputable

I purchased a car last year and rang them about a pulsating clutch to which they told me to take the car to them which I did. Upon arriving there they didn't even check it they just told me this is normal for that car. What a surprise when it ends up needing a new clutch and fly wheel and finding out that a pulsating clutch is not normal on any car. Also a missing fan cover in the back of the car which they said they would order a replacement multiple times and never did. Although this isn't expensive after paying the amount you do for a car you expect things to be as perfect as possible even in a used car.

Bought a low mileage, automatic golf which looks really good. Although I was told that the car would have a fresh MOT and anything advisory that showed up would be fixed. The MOT was done and I was told the gearbox was serviced as it’s a DSG. since taking ownership, I have had to have the rear discs and pads replaced as they would’ve failed an MOT and also I was only given a one month warranty and since that has run out the MechaTronics has now failed, which suggests to me the DSG gearbox was not serviced. Also seen since that the car has a new back door and both bumpers seem to have been temp stuck down as clips have been broke previously and have now popped out, also full of scratches which were hidden with the in house valet wax. Just have a big bill to pay now at my trusted mot and repair garage
