Picked my 56reg CLK 320 CDI Saturday very pleased with car it's the third car in 6 years I've purchased from this dealer the salesman Gero & Billy were very helpful ,it's very important that you test the car your buying ,they will give you the keys to the car take it for a good test drive if you find faults Gero will sort it ! Also I'm my opinion this dealer has the best car technician on Canvey . Glen
Popped in about 15 min before closing time. Had travelled a long way been stuck in traffic. Arrived later than I hoped. Just wanted to look at car I had seen on autotrader, with the intention of making an offer. Found a member of staff and asked about the car. (He was eating fish from a tin at time and didn't bother to stop eating whilst talking to me) He said do I want buy it now? I said I don't know need to see it first. With that he said I locked the gate now. End of conversation. I shan't be going back. Was £9500 car too.

Cant understand this complaint, you arrive at Canvey carriages on closing time expecting Gero to work unpaid overtime when you do not intend purchasing, there are seagulls flying around the entrance, Gero is eating Sardines out of a tin like a Penguin before his long drive home. and you complain ? would it not have been better to get there earlier ?

My car is broken and dealer will not resolve, its cost me money to fix. Although this has happened i would still recommend them.

The staff at Canvey Carriage Company were so welcoming when I first made contact regarding the car. I couldn't fault them at all except for the service that they provided after I had a couple of problems with the car around 2 weeks after my purchase. I would recommend them again but I would just advise future buyers to check the car over before taking it off the forecourt.

Service was good at first but decided to sell me a car within a month of the clutch going!! do not trust them make sure you bring someone who can check these things because I didn't have a clue.

I will start with the positives about Canvey Car Sales, they had the only salesmen who went and found info on car whilst on the phone, other dealerships didnt even bother to check. Knowing what i know now i would recommend them to others to use!!!!! I cant say i was 100 percent delighted with them, when we first viewed the car all great, tried the headlights at night, i know what should be a right and wrong on cars due to the nature of my job. Asked to fix an issue on car that hasnt been sorted still. From time we viewed the car to the servicing to after sale it wasnt cleaned again after. Salesmen on the other hand were good, no problem, was more the aftercare. Due to distance they are away i dont have time to go back which is ashame as they might have sorted all these things out. Im not one to point the finger and be too negative. All i can say is it could be better. I am very happy with the car, found this with all the options on this vehicles is superb so credit to them
