Terrible customer service and response if there is a problem with your car. Quick to take your money, horrendous to get hold of if there is a problem.. Warranty promised was not set up with autoguard as promised so was bogus. Had a nightmare getting my money back after car they sold me had an immediate fault despite passing an MOT!!! A few days earlier. Avoid at all costs!!!

the car broke down on the way home, it was then inspected by a garage who said the car was dangerous, i then had an inspection from the finance company who put a prohibition notice on the car saying it can't be driven until the problems are fixed, car City in Peterborough refused to take the car back within the 1st 14 days, I then had the ombudsman involved who said they had to take the car back, but i lost out on my deposit and 7 months payements about 5k all together..so do not trust or buy from them, they are mean, aggressive, dont know nothing about cars, non existence warranty when its needed, and dont abide by the law. Avoid buyer beware!!!

All garages now seem to charge a £100 (subject to viewing) holding deposit against any car you wish to view and possibly purchase, this is always refunded if you decide not to buy, and as it clearly also states on their website it’s a £100 fully refundable deposit, Car City Peterborough are fraudulent! They charge your card and then ignore your repeated requests for a refund!! You shouldn’t have to chase in the first place! Very very unprofessional, buyer beware!!! I now have to file a fraud report with my card company to get my money back!! Don’t buy a car from these people!!!

Guys listen to me and take my advice Before anyone take it and BUY for any Vehicle from Car City Peterborough PLEASE be care full when you want to get a Car finance don't pay a deposit before you can check a car different car service and you should care full a Finance .PLEASE LIVE THEM BOTH ..DONT BUY FROM THEM NOTHING...….we can prove what we said take than already to the Ombudsman

My son was looking for new vehicle and we visited quite a few car sales in the Cambs areas, By far City Cars were the most polite and there was no hassle looking around the vehicle. We part exchanged our vehicle and the guys there went above and beyond to get the new vehicle ready in very quick time, Because we needed it so quick there were a few things that needed doing but they dealt with this very quickly after the sale. My son's vehicle did develop a fault but could only be detected on long drives, the team rectified the fault and was included on their very good warranty scheme. The guys @ City Cars were polite and professional, I would certainly go back and recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Stu

We recently bought a Volvo xc90 had a few issues but Ryan himself dealt with them in the most efficient way and went the extra mile to sort the problems out even when I was a little irrate with him he was still polite and courteous a credit to your company.

Avoid ... please don’t give these guys your money, they are cowboys!! Lovely to begin with, then if you have an issue with the car they turn nasty .... will avoid paying to fix it however they can. Sell with a warranty that doesn’t exist! No service history. Dodgy MOT and endless faults with the car. Have reported to trading standard, VOSA and the DVSA. Rude and arrogant sales man Oscar... selling cars that have more faults than the value of the car. Absolutely disgusting service and I will never ever buy again from them. Enjoy my hard earned money.

Salesman was nice and friendly and my experience buying the car was reasonably good but aftersale care is non existent with these guys! Lie after lie excuse after excuse. Very poor, avoid!

Wasim at Car City Peterborough is a very good professional salesman an asset to any dealership I would have given a better 5star rating but there was a lack of tea and coffee. A must for any outlet where you expect customer's to sit and wait.
