Avoid this dealer and the garage that carry out thier M.O.T AND SERVICES for work. YOU WOULD BE MUCH SAFER BUYING FROM SCRAP YARD. ALSO MOMENTUM WARRANTY IS WORTHLESS. USED ALL MY SAVINGS TO BUY A CAR FROM THEM AND HAVE BEEN IN LOCK DOWN SINCE. THEY LIED FROM DAY 1. I HAVE ONLY DRIVEN A FEW MILES SINCE BEING OUT OF LOCKDOWN. GOT THE CAR CHECKED AND IT NEEDS OVER £1000. WORTH OF WORK NONE OF WHICH WAS MENTIONED TO ME NOR WAS THE LEAKING catalytic converter. I approached city motors, momentum ( the warranty suppliers) and the garage that done the m.o.t millfield autoparts. All of the 3 companies involved in the selling me an apparently road worthy car that is still under warranty. City cars hung up after telling me they don't know who done the m.o.t for them. I phoned the warranty company they refused any assistance. I had to go on line to find out who m.o.ted the car. I then phoned the garage to ask how my car had actually passed an m.o.t they responded by saying I don't know I will have to look it up and phone you back. Apparently I am responsible for all the broken severely rusted and corroded un road worthy car. Please if you value yours and your families safety avoid the above car dealers the m.o.t testing garage and the platinum momentum warranty company. Stay safe visit a scrap yard your car will be much safer than anything you will get from these dealers. After reading some of the reviews I am just 1 of very many worrying car reviews I know I am just 1 of an awful lot of people who seem to have been treated the same ripped off and sold cars that are in many cases dangerous on the road.

I paid £100 refundable deposit and due to some issues coming up, i couldnt go to see the car, tried contacting them 100 times to have my deposit refunded as i live in london, they kept telling me there is no manager here and they will call me back, different excuse every time and never managed to get my money back. So untrustworthy

Very quick to take my deposit,chased them for the car,,waiting and more waiting. Asked for refund on deposit,won't give it back and now won't answer any calls or emails. Waste of time

After buying this vehicle from a so called reputable dealer what a massive mistake we have made. Paid for the cambelt to be replaced before collection. All seemed fine until on the way home when water level warnings started to show as well as other warning lights on the dash. We were told that the battery had gone flat during first covid lockdown and this was the cause and would rectify itself when the vehicle was running for a while. Absolutely not the case. Warning lights still on and cost £138 for new battery. After booking the car in for a service and further inspection ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS PUT BACK TOGETHER BY THE SO CALLED MECHANIC. STILL GOT BITS AND PIECES LYING EVERYWHERE ON TOP OF ENGINE UNDERGUARD. NEEDS 3LTRS OF WATER PER DAY AND NOT BEEN USED FOR LAST 2 MONTHS. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING AND THEY DON'T WANT TO KNOW. BE WELL AWARE OF BUYING A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALER. PLEASE DONT END UP LIKE US HAVING TO GET TRADING STANDARDS INVOLVED. Places a £500 deposit on a car that came back at a cat B write off ( not allowed to be on the road) then kept my deposit and refused to return it. They are selling cars that aren’t legally aloud to be on the road. Con men DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM

Absolute rubbish (being very polite) they do not communicate back with customer, sell cars illegally and do not stick to there word, we have now reported them to trading standards and are trying to inform the police. The owner is constantly away or busy because he’s is not paying off finance arrangements as agreed nor is he even doing the right thing. I do not know how this man sleeps knowing he is putting stress on a family with a disabled child who is constantly in and out of hospital. I hope he gets what he deserves

My son placed a holding deposit for a Mercedes & paid £99 pounds to hold a the car until he could look it over. He made appointment to view it only to find the car was in poor condition & hadn't even been cleaned & all the wheels were damaged. Needless to say my son did not want to buy the car When he paid the £99 he was assured he would get his holding deposit back so far nothing its been over 4 days & we are still waiting !!! Phoned Var City & they are saying my son never turned up to view the car well if we hadn't turned up how would he know how bad the condition or the car was he also didn't view the car alone witnesses I would AVOID this company who knows how many people they have scammed out of their £99 holding deposit. Well Car City, if this money is not refunded immediately you can expect a visit from trading standards in the near future. My son works hard & not having anyone defraud money from him!!
