After a fantastic experience buying my car from David Robertson at Edinburgh CDW, exactly one month after taking delivery, my engine management light came on, whilst I was away on a golf trip. I took the car to a garage to have a full diagnostic check done. They identified a fault with a Nox Sensor. I was quoted almost £700 for my repair, using genuine MB parts, at the garage where the check was done. I contacted CDW, and spoke on the phone with my sales person, passed details to Liam in service department, who would call me back. He didn’t. Later an email came in, and after a few back and forth, Liam would not accept the diagnosis, and wanted the car dropped off at Edinburgh. I then decided, to get the car work done at the garage where diagnostic check was done. I informed Liam of this, who then in a final email, after I had informed him of booking the car in to the other garage, decided to mention that he would have covered the cost at CDW. Maybe, just maybe, if this had been mentioned in one of the earlier email exchanges, the car would’ve been dropped off at Edinburgh. It is easy to offer assistance, after the fact, rather than offering it up front, to help your customer. Sometimes the word service means nothing in Service Departments Another customer lost, possible referrals lost, not great service Liam, shame as Sales were brilliant.

Bought nice focus from cdw . Only to find it has 5 months mot on it. Every other dealer I have bought from have always given yrs mot. Think this is a bit unfair due to fact I wasn't informed at a short mot. The sales team should have told me it had short mot . Not very good that the mot was never even mentioned just interested in getting a sale

First time getting a car here and it was the best from start to finish car sales man Artur could not do enough picked me up from train station took me to show room got my car he had gone above and beyond for me even the manager great company would highly recommended 10/10 thank you. Williamina
My first dealings with this company purchasing another car. The price of the car i bought was significantly cheaper than similar at the big boy outlets. My trade in price was at least £750 more than anywhere else also Scott Boyle was a pleasure to deal with and left you to do your own thing without pressurising you to buy. All in all very pleased with my putchase and would definately recommend you try them first before going elsewhere 5 star experience

Called into cdw today a fort kinnard I saw a car I was interested in and lady came to assist me took all my details ect , but after she spoke to the manager who was offering me £1000 less on my trade in than I had been offered, from a other dealer . I said i was unhappy with this the manager came over and said he was not willing to give me price less i took a test drive on car ? He was rude unhelpful and definitely needs training on his customers service. I will not be back my family have previously bought two cars from here but they have now lost 3 customers

After buying a 68 Vauxhall Grandland X it started to show a red warning light on the dash & the car went into limp mode. As the car was still within one week of warranty the garage agreed to investigate. They told me that it was a faulty battery & charged £250 for a new one. The light came back on 2 weeks later outwith the warranty. After having the car investigated elsewhere it turned out to be the dreaded timing belt problem where the belt shreds prematurely as it runs in engine oil. After only covering 45 k miles the belt has broken down completely blocking the oil pickup in the sump & starving the engine & turbo of oil. Apparently this is a common problem with this engine so the sales garage should have known & investigated instead of charging me a lot of money for a battery I probably did not need. I'm left with a huge bill to fix this problem on fairly new car. Poor service from. .CDW.

Sold me a car with inherent problems, had the misfortune to deal with sales manager Jamie and his smarmy handshaking routine. Salesman did his best to help ultimately I came away feeling utterly ripped off. Won’t buy from them again.

Bought a car from them and the initial purchase went fine. The car just needed a service, an MOT and some minor paint-chip touched up. Everything was agreed and we agreed on a price. But that's where things went downhill. I was then subjected to lots of lies, excuses and delaying tactics from the smarmy incompetent salesman concerned. I would rather buy a car from Arthur Daley than CDW.
A great car selling/buying experience. All the staff were really friendly, it was nicey abs relaxed with no pressure. Jack looked after us and his customer service was excellent. Nothing was too much hassle and was genuine in his approach with sales patter. Gave us a great price for our old car and made buying the new car an enjoyable experience! Highly recommend these guys!

The worst car sales ever. I've had various issues with this dealership since I bought my car such as them leaving details of the previous owners name and address then my brakes. They don't reply to you even when it's a formal complaint Next step director and motor obisman
