Bought a car from this dealership in April. The Audi was in good condition and cant say I had any issues. Bearing this in mind I would recommend them..

Stay away from Car Giant. No as good any more. Go to your local dealer. He will be more considered and flexible. They say we check our vehicles properly, but they don’t. I purchased a vehicle from car giant, a Nissan Juke 2014 (£10500). A week after having it at home I put the windows down for the first time and heard a noise in front. I take it to my mechanic just for a scan and nothing turn up regarding the noise but did returned 4 fault codes related to other things. Meaning Car Giant never even connected a computer on this car to even check if there were any issues with it before posting it for sale. I called them and said under the consumer act (no even 2 weeks since I purchase it so I can definitely returned as faulty) plus with the noise in front and the fault codes enough to return this vehicle. I spent 2h with the after sales fighting 3 different people and they kept telling me there was nothing wrong with the car and I couldn’t return it or even try to swap for another vehicle. They even suggested lets take it to a Nissan main dealer to scan and to full checks probably after they went and deleted al the codes and fixed the problems. Meaning nothing to find at this point. Making me look stupid. They forced me to keep a faulty car and they said there were no error codes either meaning someone actually cleared the problems and they started saying they were never there. So I was not allowed even that I had it only for less than 2 weeks to try and swap for another option or get a refund. Everything they did was towards me keeping it. Expensive, bad customer service, hide information from you, no flexible or understandable and force you their way or no way. No even when you are protected by the law they care and you end with no proof and your word against their word. Having to spent so much money on apparently for piece in mind and ending with so much trouble, fighting to get your rights, been dismissed, lie to and played with. You pay to not have such things from Cargiant as they are apparently the largest and the best and you end with a lot of issues and bureaucracy that will do anything to not give you a refund or any positive options but to keep what you purchase not matter what. You don’t pay that amount of money to then having to fix the car already 10 days later.
PHILIP JONES in response to Stay away. No as good any more.
i am not surprised with your response. I bought a car from CAR GIANT many years ago, probably about 2001 or 2002. It was a VW Golf V reg. I paid to insure the vehicle for any engine damage or gear box damage. I was convinced to take this offer by their sales person and paid almost £300 extra for this guarantee alone. When the gear box got faulty nobody will listen to me at CAR Giant. I ended up buying a new gear box to fix my car. They cannot be trusted at all. They are there to make money from you. Their customer service is laughable and ridiculously bad.
Initially a good experience with CarGiant, however, quickly after purchase I realised the vehicle had some major faults which were not disclosed to me. An initial repair failed and I rejected the vehicle under consumer rights act. CG is saying that they are not accepting a return and thus are breaking consumer rights law. Shows how quickly they go from a good company to a bad company as soon as they take your money. Avoid this company!!
