I bought a Nissan Juke from Cargiant back in September and I have found the service and the aftercare to be of a very good standard. I have had one issue with the car but they got it sorted quickly with no issues. I would recommend Cargiant.

I queued for ages to find the car I'd booked a test for had just been sold. The alternative I was shown had, in my opinion, been involved in an accident and been repaired. Nowhere was this mentioned even though I asked why the car was suspiciously cheap. Apparently it's normal for the bonnet and wing to be slightly different in colour and paint texture than the rest of the car. It's also normal to have lots of primer under the bonnet. The next car I was shown was covered in scratches and the exhaust was blowing. Apparently this is normal for that particular cohort of cars! Full of rubbish and dreadful advice E.g. it doesn't matter how many miles the car has done as 80,000 miles isn't any different to 40,000! Rubbish. A turbo model will not cost more to repair than a standard car. Rubbish! Complete waste of time!

After seeing a 2015 low mileage Mondeo on the Web site I decided to get my funds together and go get it. What a disappointment, both the car, and the sales person were. It was raining and cold so I didn't want to be hanging about. Went to get the keys. I was giving the wrong keys. Finally after some time I was giving the right key. The car was not clean and looked shabby. On inspection I found water in the spare tyre compartment. The parcel shelf was loose and broken. The salesman came out and asked what I thought, would I like to buy it? And continued with trying to sell me a 36 month warrantee and Guard X protection for the paintwork. I hadn't even taking it for a test run. I said; I've only been with the car 5 mins and I've found faults, and that I won't be making any decisions until I've test driving it. It didn't drive to good and had some rattling noises; alarms were ringing in my head. The salesman asked me three times how my day was going while he was texting on his phone. He had no interest in me or the car. He couldn't answer simple questions on the car. Back at the site I questioned him again about the water in the boot. All I got was we can rectify that. I then noticed that the tail gate was difficult to close, ( could be why the water was getting in?). I also noticed that the bonnet was out of inlinement and sticking up at the front left side. I looked further and found traces of t cut and polish. I asked if the car had been in a prang? He went and got a manager. The manager was none vaised. We can rectify all your concerns is what I got. Are you going to buy it he asked. I questioned him on the leak and that I suspected that the car had been involved in an accident. We don't sell repaired cars he said. I know that to be untrue as I had bought my previous car from them and after having a prang in it myself was told by the car body people that the car had been in a smash a couple of times before. Their is a module of some sort on the mondeo that records every accident, after three it won't let you reset the computer until you change this component. He just looked at me and walked away while saying; I'll put it back on sale then. I was baffled and left standing there. The salesperson asked if I wanted to wait for another 15 plate to come in or buy a cheeper Mondeo. I walked away and went home. I Visited Fords the next day and bought a 15 plate Mondeo with a lot more spec, lower mileage with fantastic warranty, by a fantastic salesman for just a little bit more money. Summing up: Cargiant don't care what they sell you as long as you buy warrentees and such like. The cars: I would suggest that you get it inspected independently before buying, don't take their word. In saying that I'm sure that not all their cars are wrong uns but be cautious. Won't be recommending Cargiant or going back there for my daughters car.
I have never had a worst experience before when buying a car, we choose car giant yo buy a car for my partner .We had to wait 2 hours to view 2 cars , whole experience inc test drive took us 5 hours wait as they could fond the keys for 1 car thank the battery was out and thhen ended up brongong the wrong car(and test drive took 5 min ).It was even worst when it came to pay , if you are buying with finance you get a treatment as if you are buying the car for free , if you paying cash you dont wait long!!this was yold to is bu the guy at the reception.I bought a car from a small dealer 2 months ago and eveyghing took 45 min!!!! And I got a great customer service -never,never again !!!
Decided to purchase a VW Golf from Car Giant for my dad due to the good ratings on Trust Pilot. I felt i would feel comfortable with the purchase just because they were a big dealer and they would provide a quality vehicle. Saw a 2013 VW Golf at £10,600 and felt it was good price and enquired about the car and was told it had been just reduced by £400 so was priced at £10,200. Assuming it was a offer too good to be true I decided to head to CarGiant the same day. When inspecting the car there I noticed alot of dents on the panels. Spoke to the customer representative and was told if they wanted the a cheap job they will tell me a place close by!! Felt really disappointed with the response as i felt just getting the panels resprayed with cost around £500+. Took the car for the 2 min test drive they provide and decided to purchase the car. They charge an additional 1% for cash and another £100 admin fell so total was already going up. Purchased the car in the evening so I wasn’t able to inspect the car properly but felt assured that I was buying from a reliable. The £600 saving I felt I was making buy not going to a dealer has turned to a TSUNAMI. Door Matts were missing £75. Cigeratte lighter missing £25 from dealership. All alloys curbed quoted £150, tyres which should have covered 11K for somereason replaced with cheap quality tyres with a mixture of winter and summer tyres, quoted £320. Service not done for 14 month, £450. The door panels which were marked up have been quoted £600. I have also payed £280 to have rear parking sensors fitted. The bargain I thought I had at £10,200 had gone up to £11,850. I have also been advised by VW that the entire passenger side was reprayed to a poor quality, the bonnet was also repainted and the panels have not been aligned correctly. Its very likely the car was involved in accident. I feel extremely cheated by Cargiant by not informing me of the car being previously damaged. I decided to speak to Cargiant and demanding why this information wasn’t provided to me. After speaking to the staff on the phone and visiting their branch all they have said is they DON’T check if the car has been involved in any accident, they don’t check anything except the mechanical and if the vehicle is HPI clear. This is clearly a false as they done the MOT and would have clearly been able to pick up all these issues. I now have to spend around £500 getting a assessment from VW of the vehicle and taking this matter with the Financial Ombudsman. Many people may feel I’m being harsh but if anyone who wishes to purchase a vehicle then before you depart with your cash I advise ALL of you to go to the their ‘After Sales Counter’ which is hidden away in a corner in the VW Department away from all the potential new buyers so they dontt see all their complaints. Just sitting in this section for a few mins you will find MANY customers like myself who are complaining about their awful cars they have bought and being cheated. I ADVISE ANYONE WISHING TO BUY A CAR FROM CARGAINT TO THINK TWICE. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKEMYSELF AND SPEND ALITTLE MORE AND GO TO A MAIN DEALER.
We saw a very interesting car on Cargiant website (plate # YK61KBY) and booked a slot at 15:30 on Saturday 05/11/2016. Before coming, we did a quick search and found many positive customer reviews at various places so we hoped to come in, exchange the current car, test and drive away with the new car. With that in mind, we (I, my wife, and daughter) came all the way from Brighton, arrived at Cargiant centre 10 minutes earlier, queued and talked to one of the staff at the front desk. It was very nice and easy conversation where I was asked some basic information and need to drive my old car to the dedicated parking space for another staff to valuate and give an exchange value. I was given a quote that a bit lower than my expectation but I was still happy to go ahead with the procedure. This is where the problem started. I was told by that staff that the car I want to test-drive was still in the garage (which later confirmed was opposite the road) and need to move out. Therefore, I was asked to wait about 20-30 minutes for them to get it out. At this point it felt little ridiculous given I made a booking 1 day before and they did not even manage to take it out! However, I really liked that car and was happy to go their coffee shop (upstairs) to have a (terrible) coffee and wait for their phone call when the car is ready! After 45 minutes of waiting (at 4:45pm, 1h15 minutes after my booked timeslot), there was no phone call at all! I was annoyed with the level of service and went to queue at their front desk to talk with them again (a different staff as that previous guy disappeared)! The queue was quick (5 minutes) and the discussion after with the staff was another 15 minutes which he could only showed me that "one of his colleague" took the key just 2 minutes before my booked time and did not return the key! Another 15 minutes waiting, his manager came and personally apologied for this (without any explanation whatsoever). He told me the same story again (car is the garage and needs to be move out here!!!) and asked me to wait another 20 minutes. Given no other choice, we decided: OK let give them a final chance then! After 30 minutes of waiting (despite of 20 minutes waiting from the MANAGER), there was no phone call at all! We left the centre immediately at that moment! About 30 minutes later on the way home (3 HOURS AFTER THE BOOKING TIME), we got a phone call saying that the car was ready for test-drive!!!! It was a HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING service that they provide there! Avoid this place like plague! They treat customers like shit! I went to Sparhatts of Havent the next day and bought my BMW there.
Had a good experience at this dealership. The staff that we dealt with were very friendly and helpful, specially Ivan Nachkov and Perez Powell, they did a great job. Very happy.
Do NOT buy a car from these people I bought a 3 yr old mini after 4 months it went bang through no fault of my own the rubbish AA warranty I paid £900 for 3 yrs wrote the car off as a new engine was to expensive and offered me trade value £3500 less than what I paid Car giant were NOT interested in helping in any way at all avoid these money grabbing dealers at all costs.
Really good service from Cargiant, The dealers were very helpful. They made sure everything went smoothly and offered me warranty on the vehicle. The car was in great condition and I was very happy with the price. I have had no problems with them at all.
