I would suggest avoid the seller as I have faced below issues, 1. Service was 65 days overdue which I only found out after full payment and paperwork done. After sales says, it was not on us, you have not asked the question about it 2. Type 2 to Type 2 cable was not provided and asked £100 for the same 3. All car mats were missing 4. Car’s tailgate lid handle was missing which almost cut my hand while closing the boot 5. Description/features of vehicle on website were misleading and they covered that up with a disclaimer there 6. Test drive was very short and and was on 20 mph speed, could you believe it 7. Salesman had very little idea about the car and was more of selling cargiant’s product Sales and after sales person keep on repeating one thing there “we can’t attend a single car as we sell thousands of cars” but I believe customer is there to buy only one car and expect them to be focus on their deal especially when they are selling it for such a high price.

Unfortunately can't put 0 stars! This place is an absolute joke! I bought a car from 4th september 2023 kia electric 2020 white color and paid full cash 21000 thousand pounds to them and when i picked up the car there were two lights on the dashboard and there was an error sign i asked them Why is this sign showing, he said that it will go automatically, no problem When I took the car and on the way it started making a different type of noise from the front wheel Next day I called customer service and they told me that we book a workshop for you and let them check what is the problem. I said it's not even a day since I got the car and now the problem started, different types of lights came on in dashboard and the sound also started from the front wheels I have taken the car to two or three workshops, no one understands electric cars, neither do they take the car back no give you a refund. now 3 month Never take a car from them. When you go to pick up the car, they treat you very well. Later, if there is any fault, they humiliate you so much that it is unaccountable.
Review of Cargiant - Officially The Worlds Largest Car Dealership | cargiant.co.uk Robert Williams I purchased a used vehicle from Peugot 2017 3007 GT Line dealership ( July 2023 ) Reg No : LN17ZFT. Within two days of purchase we had to return the vehicle after my local garage diagnosed an internal engine malfunction. The service document showed the last service was overdue hence the reason I took it to my local garage. The problems occurred with the vehicle after two days of purchase and my partner stated it did not feel safe ! The aftersales team were totally unprofessional to say the least. Video evidence was sent to this dealership in addition to diagnostic reports by our local garage to confirm the faults. I requested a loan vehicle as my partner needed a vehicle for her employment. On arrival to collect I was advised the company do not provide like for like in these circumstances ! I had no option but to take what was on offer until the investigation was ongoing . After wasting my valuable time dealing with this fault I was not compensated for my time and this was reiterated when I enquired. The company offered to repair the vehicle after advising that their own technicians report was what my local garage had advised in the first instance. The engine and turbo charger had failed and the engine was burning oil ! Video evidence was sent confirming what was advised in the first instance. I decided to reject and return the vehicle as it was within the 14 day cooling off period . What I had paid out in the deposit, service costs and diagnostic report was returned as I requested. The taxable charge on the service was not reimbursed as the invoice was in my name and not Cargiant as per company policy ! Part of the purchase was on finance to which I contacted the finance company to explain the situation. I therfore cancelled the contract with immediate effect. All I asked was for from the company on more than one occasion as my partner part exchanged a usable vehicle was to work through this issue together and not against us this did not happen in this instance. My partner wanted an upgrade after owning her vehicle for three years and decided it was time to change. I requested the details of the CEO'S in my correspondence to pursue my complaint as I could clearly see we was not getting any further and this was declined. I was advised my complaint can only be dealt with by the aftersales team. At no time was my myself or partner ever rude or disrespectful to any staff at any time as that is not the way to resolve a dispute. The vehicle ombudsman was also contacted and after sending all correspondence and documentation in relation to my complaint. I was notified this company is not a partner of the organisation so they could not pursue the complaint, I was advised the possible resolution was to try to pursue the matter via the aftersales team. I simply decided I am not going to waste my time going through the company's complaint department since in my view the aftersales team did not have the intellect to work through the initial problem in the first instance. ( E-mails and phone calls did not resolve the issue ) I was willing to purchase another vehicle even after all the issues we encountered, and this was mutually agreed in telephone conversations, unfortunately due to the total lack of understanding and common sense I simply decided to take my business elsewhere. I have heard of poor and negative reviews about this company on other sites however, i am a believer of keeping an open mind and not to be judgemental. I would welcome a senior official to read this review and feel free to contact me. This is a genuine and honest experience of dealing with this organisation. Date of experience: 22 July 2023

Tony Vernon from Cargiant in response to Think carefully before you buy !
What a world of crap you have had to suffer…I have read many other negative reviews……I visited car giant today with a view to buying a car … made me think twice….. hope you have resolved your issue
Spoke to them several times on the phone, made it clear what I was looking for, part x on nearly new car., my car was few years old, low mileage. Drove an hour to get there after they said they’d work with me on the deal. Arrived and part x guy said he’d meet me on price if I agreed to purchase on the day and drive away, which I did, then went to see the car I wanted and it was needing a good valet, had a flat tire, 4 warnings on ‘car status’ including new key battery (£300) and a coolant warning. Went back and spoke to part x guy, he said no movement on price and then tried to knock me down another £500 on part x for my car ( which he’s already agreed to), he then went to speak to his ‘manager’, right next to me! Took the pi*s and said he wasn’t going to make the deal. Cowboys!! Waste of time and greedy, is a simple review.
The employers are complete liars. They will lie to your face through their teeth and it’s scary. Their goal is to sell the car, because after that nothing is their problem. I have been waiting for customer services to respond to my complaint via email for months now. I’ve been robbed £200 from this cargiant and they’re purposely ignoring me. Horrible place full of cheats and dishonest people. Don’t waste your time, don’t get into a problem that you’ll regret and don’t bother communicating with them. Everything they say is what you want to hear and not the truth.
Manager Marco rude and unhelpful in my opinion when credit card machine not working. No solutions offered. Awful when spending such a large amount of money
I am not one to leave bad reviews, but i need to warn others about Cargiant! I can honestly say I have never dealt with such a rude and unprofessional company. To start with, the service I recieved was great...UNTIL THEY HAD MY MONEY!! This is a long one, but worth reading if you're thinking of buying a car from this company! I purchased a car on a Saturday and noticed some faults with the car whilst driving home. (An awful noise whilst driving and the engine management light had come on). I reported this as soon as their offices opened on the Monday. I was told to wait an see how things went but I phoned back om the Tuesday as I wasn't happy with that as I was unsure of what was wrong with the car and have small children. They agreed for me to take it to a garage to be looked at. I took it straight to the garage and was told they would look at it, but I was told straight away that they don't like dealing with Cargiant as they don't like to pay their bills!!! As expected, they didn't want to deal with the issues in case they have to fight for their money so said there were issues but they couldn't help and I should take the car straight back to Cargiant for a full refund. I contacted Cargiant immediately to relay what I was told by the (well known and reputable) garage. They then told me to take it to another VAT registered garage. I did, and was told exactly the same! They provided me with a report of the issues with the car which I passed onto car giant when requesting a full refund (baring in mind this was all within days of purchasing the car!). I was told these 2 garages findings weren't good enough, and it would need to be seen by the main dealership before Cargiant will help. I had no choice but to book this into a dealership and had no car for 2 weeks whilst waiting for my appointment as I was told by both garages that the car was unsafe to drive and I couldn't put myself or my family at risk. The main dealers finding were as expected and again I was advised to take the car straight back to cargiant for a full refund. The main dealer had to fix the drive shaft as it wasn't connected to the car and they couldn't allow me to drive out of their garage as it was a death trap! Again, I provided cargiant with the main dealers full report including their video evidence. But again was told this wasn't good enough and they would need to get the car booked in with their own garage to ascertain whether they agree with the main dealer. In all this time, I had been pleading with them to just give me my money back as I couldn't go to work or take my children to important medical appointments but each time I was told that "this is process". It has taken me 7 weeks to get a full refund from this company, although I have done exactly as they asked, gone without a car and lost earnings due to this. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY! THEIR AFTERCARE IS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!!
Bought a car 12 weeks ago, after one day’s of use car broke down. Took it back to Cargiant for repair. After two weeks the car was repaired and ready. After one day’s of use the oil from the haldex was still leaking. Wasted my time and money to get diagnosed and took back to Cargiant for another repair. It now past 12 weeks where I hardly used my vehicle and it sat there in Cargiant garage with apparently repairing it. Their workshop is not capable of repairing cars because it only takes 3 to 4hours to do the job according to independent vw specialist. Finance company still charge me for it but I haven’t got the vehicle. After sales or customer service does not exist. Undergraduates deals with the problems where they can’t make any decision and higher management is just full of arrogance. After all I did spend £30K but who cares. Avoid if possible and buy elsewhere. At least other dealerships will communicate in a worst case scenario and please learn from my and others experience. If you want stress, financial loss then the Cargiant is the one who will give that.

Strongly suggest avoiding purchasing from here. Purchased a BMW with supposedly 70000 miles on the clock last year. Had nothing but problems, perishes cracked tyres, replaced a clutch, on board computer issues. It’s cost us a fortune, car giants customer service have been useless as has the extended warranty we purchased! Strongly suggest avoiding this company. Would never purchase from here again.
