Do NOT buy cars from Car Kings! my car failed after 2 weeks from buying of these Conmen (Elmwood Motor Company) and they refuse to give me my money back even though the car failed the MOT 4 days before I brought the car with the same issue I took it back with! then somehow they passed the MOT they have 6 CCJ's on their old business called Carkings, I am in the process of taking them to small claims court now, no doubt they will fold this company and start again, these people are conmen, do your homework on them, lots of people have had the same issue as I have!

I now believe Car Kings are trading as Elmwood Motor Company Bristol. Stay away, sold me a vehicle which was dangerously non roadworthy, with cracked suspension arm, broken spring and ball joint, lights not all working, tyre pressures all over the place (one even at over 60psi) Their excuse ? "we don't have a mechanic on site to check vehicles" What have they done to put things right despite numerous emails and requests ?, absolutely nothing except offer me less than the vehicle has cost me to take it back, shameful and dangerous practices, steer clear.
Wanted to buy a car, went to see the car at Car Kings, agreed to buy it, put deposit down for test drive, test drive cancelled and then informed they couldnt get the car going. Kept deposit and wont give a refund despite three months of emails. I think this is Fraud and will be reporting to the authorities. Dont go anywhere near these guys.

we went to look for a car and put a deposit just in case it was sold as we were miles away and wanted to look. the car was not at the garage and were told that it was in the garage with a management problem. we decided to not go for the car and asked for our money back. this has never been forthcoming despite asking politely. This is tantamount to fraud, so be aware when buying a car from Barrie as he puts honest businessmen to shame

People experiencing problems with these people should turn up outside their premises with placards and protest. This should put other potential buyers off and you may even get your issue resolved. !
This garage is a disgrace. Nothing but car trouble day after I bought it. Got spoken to with no human respect to the point I was made out to be a liar about the faults on my car. Hung up on me when I phoned to bring the car back and have my money back even thought I’ve paid out £200+ in the first month ! NO NOT buy from Car Kings, save you money.

Are they still trading? He sold my son a wreck last year. We took him to court and won. He didn’t pay so a CCJ was awarded against him. We are now in the process of having the high court sheriffs chase him with a high court judgement but he has closed the Summerhill Road branch and disappeared. I will not stop until we get the money owed to us. Thank you

The gentleman at the hanham store today was soo helpful i can not express enough how helpul he was. He went the extra mile and got us s great deal. I would say to give them a visit.
I can not express my dissatisfaction with Car Kings enough. There is a complete lack of customer service. They never return any phone calls. When I spoke with someone , there was never any empathy and he never even attempted to put the situation right. I was asked to put my thoughts in writing to the man in charge and even he never had the courtesy to reply. A terrible, terrible company. If you do buy a car, I hope you have no cause to go back, because nothing will be resolved !!

Bought a car for my son from Car Kings after having an awful experience with another dealer. Salesman was friendly and supportive and didn't pressure us at all, giving us time to make our own decision. When the car had a small issue, he just said to take it back and they would sort it out. All round great service. Thank you.

We bought a car and we're mislead regarding service history. The car also developed a fault. We asked for our money back with a few days of purchase but Car Kings refused. We are now taking legal action. Avoid at all costs! Read Google reviews on Car Kings main site and you'll find others who have also been treated in an awful way.

Exactly the same happened to us. Took legal action. Now have the high court sheriffs involved with a writ but they appear to have disappeared. Any help regarding the whereabouts would be appreciated. Thank you

I did have problems but they were very good and even gave me a car to use & updated me as to what was going on.
Overall we're happy with our Ford Focus we purchased a couple of months back. Car was presented well with a few marks around it, but quite clean for a car around 10 years old. Test drive without a salesman pressuring always help and so far so good. Had issue with window motor, so they ordered the part which took a few days and then had it fixed whilst i waited.
