THIS COMPANY ARE NOW TRADING AS DIAMOND AUTO CENTRE BUT UNIT STILL HAS CAR PLANET ABOVE DOOR DROVE ALL WAY UP FROM CUMBRIA FOR FIRST CAR I MUST SAY WAS DODGY FROM MOMENT WE GOT THERE BOSS WAS LEAVING QUICKLY AND LEFT US WITH PEOPLE WHO COULD BARELY COMMUNICATE WITH US NEVER MIND ANYTHING ABOUT CARS!! WELL THE CAR WAS INSURED TO DRIVE BACK HOME PROVIDING ALL GOING WELL....WHAT A MISTAKE THERE WAS PARTS MISSING DIFFERENT TYRES ON EVERY WHEEL!! RADIATOR LEAKING WATER WHEN CHANGING GEARS WITH CLUTCH DOWN BIG RATTLES....WAS DEFO A NO GO AS I HAVE KIDS IN CAR WITH ME! ON LEAVING WE WERE BLOCKED IN BY TWO CARS AND HE ASKED IF WE WANTED TO LOOK AT ANOTHER SAFE TO SAY HE WAS TOLD WHERE TO GO....DO NOT BUY THIS EVEN SCRAPPY WOULD TURN AWAY!

Disgusting company I wouldnt recomend this company to no one. I was treated like dirt. The car was covered in muck, the back seats covered in mould, the boss has a disgusting attitude and threatened me with violence. I phoned trading standards and they told me that they were aware of this company and they had existing complaints. I personally hope they shut it down. Even the girl in the post office told me I made a big mistake buying a car from them as the tax was declined and I had to pay 25 pound for a new log book and now have to wait four to six weeks for the log book to come through before I can tax it.

Hiya. Did trading standards ever get back to you? I am going to phone them tomorrow, they have changed their name to Diamond Autocentre on the web but see its still trading as Car Planet on business lookup and it was above door last night when I went to look at another car, it probs would have either been in an accident driving home or banned one the two!!!
Had so much problems with this so called dealership. I contacted trading standards and they informed I was in a long, long, long list of people that has been taken advantage of and that they should not be trading as they are not fit to trade.
Car Planet Edinburgh were more helpful and their service was great the car was better that i'd hope for, it was valet to a very high standard already have recommended them they are really good professional team
