I purchased my car back in may from car store borehamwood , I was asked about the additional warranty for a see which I chose not to add. After about 2weeks I had a problem with the engine light coming on and off, I tried to contact the store by phone but kept being transferred around the country. Eventually emailed the person I dealt with who never got back to me until I threatened to complain after 2 weeks stating he would let the customer service manager about the issue and call me another 3weeks went by until I got a call in which I explained I would be on holiday the next day so would have to wait until I came back. When returned tried to get in contact again with no luck. The person I originally dealt with had left and the manager refused to get back to me. I made a complaint on the website and surprisingly the next day she phoned me. Booked my car in. Baring this in mind I now only had 2weeks of warranty left. The car was with them for a week and she phoned me saying the problem had been rectified. I traveled down again (48miles) got my car back to find as soon as turned on the engine light was illuminated. Spoke with the front desk person who spoke to the technician who stated leave it with us again. Another week went passed when they assured me the problem was fixed as they found an electrical problem. Car seemed fine when picked up, 2 days later the same issue arose. Contacted manager again and now am being told that it doesn’t mean it’s the same problem and that my warranty has now ended even though it’s the same problem I had to start with. Absolutely disgusting service throughout the entire time after car was bought. I would recommend not to buy a car from here.

The good and the not so good experience of buying from the Car Store in Borehamwood. Initially I was not impressed by laid back attitude but if fairness this was as it transpired quite refreshing no hard sell just a solid overview of car, history, how it worked, and a reasonable test drive. The person I primarily felt with was Dan who if I was rating him out if 10 gave a 9.5 out of 10 support, interest and areal customer focused approach, fair to say he was the reason I over looked the not so good points. Point 1 trying to get through to Borehamwood through the central call centre was a nightmare, not the call centre themselves they were mostly helpful but just no one picking up at Borehamwood this was on the separate days. Point 2 I did get through in the end and as Dan was out asked to sisal to the person he had given me as his back up, asked the person two questions on car, he said he would find out and get back to me, three days latter I called again to chase up as Dan was still out and he was not there the person I spoke to said they would chase up and get him to call me tomorrow when he returned, needless to say I never heard from him. Only had the car a day so no feed back on that as yet. So there you are my first hand experience, I would add that while 30 mins to purchase the car is widely off the mark, the actual buying Experience on the day again thanks to Dan was first class.

We used this service to sell a VW Polo. The whole experience was excellent - online quote, vehicle inspection, handover and transfer of funds. The price was fair and the member of staff was pleasant, thorough and responsive. I can compare this with WBAC which was the opposite of this in every way. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Car Store Borehamwood again.

I had been looking for a Peugeot 208 in a very specific colour, however for some reason most of the ads I found were in the Middlands/ Scotland or Wales. After weeks of searching and almost coming to terms that I would probably have to travel for a viewing and without certainty of whether I would be happy to buy the car or not, I saw a Car Store ad on autotrader. Called customer services who were very helpful and offered to transfer the car free of charge to a nearby store in London. Paid the £200 deposit on Friday and on Wednesday received a call to confirm its arrival in Borehamwood. They even sent me a video of the car which in my opinion added a really nice touch. Peter was very professional, polite and helpful throughout the whole process, not pushy at all. Overall, the whole team was very welcoming which made it a great experience and I would highly recommend Car Store Borehamwood. I absolutely love my new car

Having just come from purchasing my Nissan Juke I felt I wanted to commend you for a first class professional service I received, they couldn't have done anymore than to make us welcome from the moment we stepped inside the door, we had endless amounts of coffee offered, we felt part of the family. I would urge anyone intending to purchase a car to go to the Carstore, we had quite a journey to get there but was so glad we did. A very pleasurable day out!

I was interested in a car at another Car Store Site and went to Borehamwood to have my vehicle valued. They appraised it drove it and photographed it. 3days later still waiting for the valuation of my car. A bunch of amateurs do not consider buying anything from them.

Went to see my next new car after a 100 mile drive and confirmation email in my pocket. Got to The Car Store in Borehamwood and was welcomed and that's when it all fell apart first they could not find the car then when they did it had run out of petrol then when I went through the paperwork I found out it had been a rental car 3 hours wasted all they could say was sorry my px was valued £ 300 less than they had said please be very careful what you buy check everything and it may seem cheap but it could have had a very hard life ....
