Bought a fairly priced Ford Mondeo. On the drive home the automatic transmission was very jerky and could smell burning clutch. Drove the car a few other times always jerking changing gear. Pulling out of a junction the car lost all power and nearly was written off. Took it back, explained the problem but they already knew about it. They basically sell cars that aren't even roadworthy and care less. Will never buy from here, avoid!

They kept my car for 4 days and at the end I had to get back my car without the job done. I had the worst ever customer experience with the car store Coventry. Especially the service manager named Ashley, never keep his word. He also puts scratch on my car while handover to me but didn’t repair as promised. He didn’t gave me much update about my car and I had to chase them everytime. Altogether it was a nightmare.
Recently bought a focus from here the day after the engine management light came on rang them up couldn't get me in so took it too Evans halshaw to get a diagnostic check which showed up a faulty o2 sensor on the cat, rang carstore Coventry who said we'll ring you back tomorrow with details. Over a week later after numerous phone calls they still haven't rang me back and no further forward, worst customer service I've experienced at any dealership

My son bought a car, paid £1000 for 2 year guarantee. After a week tge windscreen wipers stopped working. Made 6 calls to car store, each time promised to call him back. No one did. After 4 weeks finally told him he had to take the car back to Coventry. We live in walsall, its illegal to drive without wipers. After a complete nightmare they now have the car since last friday and been told won't have the part til 9th may. Again that's After numerous phone calls that they never return. I've emailed the manager, and what a suprise she hasn't responded
We bought the car from Car store Coventry on 7th April 23 and the rear light cluster was damaged when we took it. We went home and noticed it and since it was late in the evening and the concerned sales person Mr. Taher Shabbir said he will be on leave so we did not call him. We did drop him email to which he said he will look in to it. When we went on 15th Apr 23, he just did not do anything about this and told us at the last minute that we should speak to his manager. His manager Ms. Melissa Lynch said she will look into it, dropped an email to me saying that she will respond in 2-3 days. So far not even responded despite sending 2 reminders. Extremely disappointed with car store at Coventry. Do they really care ??
I don’t believe they carry out a 123 service. When I went to collect the car the battery was flat and the drivers door didn’t lock/unlock properly. I should have got my money back there and then. They replaced battery and eventually replaced the lock but the cover fell off on the way home leaving the lock exposed to the elements. The rear windscreen doesn’t defrost properly and the oil service light keeps coming on. We are months down the line and it is clear they don’t care. They’ve got my money and they’re not interested. Bought Dacia Duster no 123 point check carried out they lie never answered emails avoid Jo Melissa they couldn’t organise a party in a brewery. Still waiting for parcel self promised day 1 7 weeks down the line. Let car go with rust and body issues no service and needed software update,it says on the company’s advert this is all checked. Had to take two days off work to try to sort out. Still not sorted 7 weeks down the line I’m now in touch with finance company and will seek legal action.
Spent £10000 on a car I need to be reliable. NOT SO! endless chasing, retelling my story over and over. Apparently collecting the car but don't show, now without transport until who knows when. Disappointed doesn't begin to cover it!

The sales people are very amiable, and keen to sell you a vehicle. They will also promote their extended guarantee. Nothing is too much trouble, until there is a fault with the vehicle. Then the problems start. They are not interested in trying to build customer service, they have your money, that's all they are interested in. It takes weeks to get them to look at the car if there is a problem and then try and charge you by claiming the repairs are not covered by the guarantee. Constantly had to chase them to get any response. Once there is a problem with the car, that's when the real Carstore appears, you will have nothing but hassle trying to get it resolved. I would not recommend using this company under any circumstances, KEEP CLEAR. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Never reply to emails, have to be chased incessantly for call backs, replies etc. either to do with delivery or repairs. Customer service is woeful. Avoid.
