My husband and I purchased an Astra from the Coventry Car Store and this was the beginning of our problems. On the next day we have noticed that the rear bumper is about to fall off, stacked on some kind of silicone or glue. Returned the car to the store, obviously the staff wasn't that kind as they were by the time when we bought the car, They have reserved the right to hold £99 until we bring the V5 book to the store. Majority of refund was made by a transfer payment and they emailed me to email them back my bank details. I wasn't happy about giving someone my bank details over the email but after ringing the store some lad told my this is the only way they can refund me, even so I paid in store using my Visa card, and filled a refund details form. Once I`ve received the V5 book I took that to the store, and then my problem began. I was invisible for the staff, no one was going to serve me, and a pregnant blond lady who sat in the reception desk was absolutely rude when I pointed out , that I am waiting almost 35 min, staff is standing and chatting no one is coming to take the V5 book out of me. After 40 min she took that book of me and despaired , so I was waiting to find out what is going on, but she said I can go they will refund me within 3-5 days. Two weeks after that and ringing the store 3 times a day, being putted on hold and hanged up I still haven't got the money!!!Spoken to the same pregnant blondie one day who again was arrogant again saying ring tomorrow, my manager said!! Absolutely ridicules attitude of that girl. Store manager rang me after that , promising he will refund me next day as first thing in the morning!!!!Fake promise ! Well.... again not being refunded, rang the again, same story, being told to ring later, putted on hold, promised to get this sorted, and nothing Happened. They are robbing money, selling broken cars, and their staff is arrogant and unprofessional. I don't think I will ever get the money back, I`m sick with this store. I`ll complain to the uk Standard Trading Agency, maybe this will help !My advise is avoid and read the reviews before you decide to visit that place, as It cost you money being stolen, stress and lots of time with arrogant people!!!!!

Very very poor service, The Car Store in Coventry lie and stall you forever. My genuine advice dont buy or visit that place, they are really bad and their cars unreliable. I have bought my last car from carstore coventry 5 months ago. I visited saw the car looked and drived nice had some very obvious problems but they have said they will do a new MOT to car and fix other stuff during MOT check. I said OK and gave the deposit and they said the MOT of the vehicle will be done by the time I'll give full amount for the car. I paid and went to take the car but the cars MOT wasn't renewed and they said they will do and gave me a day (3 or 4 days later to drop the car to carstore. Before I drop the car for the MOT, I have discovered some issues with the car which was; air conditioning didnt work one tyre had really serious cut on the side lip locking nut key was missing Undertray was loose When I arrive I asked those issues to be fixed since it is a reputable place, they want customer satisfactory and they should have fixed those things before they sell the car. When I asked them to be handled, one really rude guy said we do not take responsibility for those issues and he said those issues may have had appeared after I bought the car during that 3-4 days. he also blamed me about those issues and had an insulting behavior. He actually tried to scare me off so I will not complain about the issues. However, then his boss came and said to me those issues will be fixed (a guy called 'H') during MOT then I though okey, there are also some good people here but I was wrong. While I was waiting MOT to be finished which they said It will be finished in about 1 or 2 hours, I said okey I will wait here. After waiting 3 hours, I checked whether car has passed the MOT and I saw that it failed. I how can you sell a car it fails in your MOT. Of course nobody said anything to me after hours they keep sayin the car is in MOT car is in MOT. They let me wait for 2 hours more and then they came and said we have to let you go now, We will fix the car in two or one day. So I have left without a car. I said OK at least they are fixin the car. After I take the car them again. I have realized they didnt put the locking key or they didnt change it. I have called them first every day to remind to give me or change the locking nut. However, they kept saying ('h') we will order, we will order. They managed to order after two months and asked me to drop the car. I drop the car, left without a car one more day. I went to take the car but they have said order wrong locking nut and key because they didnt ordered from original supplier. Now, it has been 5 months and I am still calling them (THE GUY CALLED H), he doent answer me anymore. My genuine advice dont buy or visit that place, they are really bad and their cars unreliable.

I went to the Car store in Coventry on Sunday, looked around in the pouring rain, found a car I liked, checked the advertised price in the window (£6135)found it was within my price range so took it for a test drive, checked the price with Pinder who took us for the drive. All good, went away to check insurance costs as it was an Audi so unsure how expensive it was going to be. Contacted the following day to say that I wanted to purchase the vehicle only to be told that the vehicles price was incorrect in the window and apparently should have been changed to £6450. I had taken a picture of the advertised price so could prove it, but instead of them selling it to me for the price they advertised it at I was told I should of checked the website for all prices. I am sorry but people buy cars based on the advertised prices in the car window. Awful service !!
